Food was okay . Cashier Valerie was not pleasant . Waited for 3 minutes and she came up with a broom and dust pan in hand and asked what I wanted. She did not hand me back my card ( after I nicely handed it to her ) she slid it on the table away from the register to point I had to reach for it with just the receipt and no pen to sign . Not a bad set up for a taco joint. I believe it is a chain taco place as well. It's in the Publix shopping center directly behind the WaWa. As you walk in it's similar to a Moes set up. You place your order and they give you a number. The only thing that I thought was kind of cool as once your number is called you walk up to the kitchen in the back and pick up your food. You can also order a beer or a margarita. They do have a very small bar set up at the front, so feel free to come here for a few tacos and a cool beverage. I have the spicy pork taco, shredded brisket taco, and shredded chicken taco. All three were very good tacos on the softshell. The chips in case so we're pretty good as well. It has a very relaxed setting with TVs all around. All in all between three tacos, one taco bowl, chips and Quesa, two margaritas, and an apple juice. We came out with the total bill of $33. Not bad! Fuzzy Wuzzy was a Taco, Fuzzy Wuzzy has no hair, Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't very Fuzzy was he. Walked in here because of the name and name alone. I was expecting to find fuzzy mold growing on the fountain drink machine. But, NOPE! After looking at the price of each taco I was expecting a large size Taco. Meh, what I got was a regular size taco that was well stuffed. I ordered a Brisket and spicy pork taco. Sadly I was unable to tell the two apart. Usually, Brisket has a very good flavor that you recognize right away when it hits your flavor sensors. Needless to say, this was disappointing. Love this place and wish we had one on the West side of O'town! Stopped in late on a Friday after a concert at UCF, we ordered the spicy pork and brisket tacos along with a breakfast eggs/chorizo taco and a basic ground beef taco. My favorites were spicy pork and ground beef. The fresh cheese and lettuce/tomato were such a great balance to the meats inside each taco. You have a choice of corn or flour tortilla or a hard shell taco which is ALWAYS my preference! We had house margaritas- 2 for 1 after 10pm... good and could have used less mixer. We had the Butt Burnin Habanero sauce which was just enough heat to satisfy our palates. They have a full bar including a wide assortment of brews. Great name, okay food. I wasn't expecting much based on the reviews, but I still went in with an open mind. Staff was very friendly. Ordering was easy. The food itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't praise-worthy either. My tacos just tasted like most other tacos I've had before. They didn't lack flavor per se, the ratio of meat to lettuce was just way off. I will say that the brisket taco was actually quite good though. The tacos themselves are quite small so I would order 2 or 3 if you want a full meal. I also ordered one of the bowls. It's huge! Unfortunately I only ate a quarter of it because, once again, the meat to lettuce ratio was way off. A quarter way through, I was basically just eating a salad with some half-decent avocado ranch dressing. The place was a bit dirty too unfortunately. No cockroaches running around or anything, just a lot of sticky floors and tables that haven't been wiped off. I was so excited to try Fuzzys after everyone told me I had to. I had never heard of it prior to moving to the UCF Area. Their menu was pretty wide but my husband and I decided on the shredded chicken nachos and the potato, egg and cheese tacos. While we waited on our food, we ordered frozen margaritas. They were really good and had a pretty good pour to them. There was a wide array of flavors and an overall great menu when it came to alcoholic beverages. The food looked great when it arrived but wasn't the best after the first bite. The garlic sauce they put on everything is very overwhelming and overpowering. I've never complained about the "level of garlic" a dish has had until I came here. If I ever return, I'll ask for no garlic sauce. read more

Fuzzy's is the epitome of "meh". It's not bad, but it's not great. My favorite thing about Fuzzy's is their spiralized veggies in the veggie tacos.. and that's really about it. On a recent visit I ordered the lunch combo with 1 enchilada, 1 taco, and 2 sides. For $8 it's a pretty good deal, but it took over 20 minutes. When I approached the counter to check on the status of my food, they let me know "it's almost out of the microwave". I seriously could not believe what I was hearing: they microwave their enchiladas. Woooooow. On top of this, the chips and hard taco shell seemed kinda stale and their queso lacked flavor. Well lit, lots of seating, there is a bar, beers, margaritas and sangrias. Cashier was friendly and patiently explained the specials. Taco Tuesday, shredded chicken, spicy pork, tempura fish and veggie tacos are $1.75 and $1off on margaritas. We had three crunchy taco shells, shredded chicken tacos with only chicken and cheese. Three soft, corn tortilla, tacos. Two shredded chicken and one spicy pork, all three with the works, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and cilantro. Shredded chicken nachos with queso and feta cheese. We were given a buzzer and told it would buzz when the food was ready and it has to be picked up in the back of the room. The tacos were nicely sized and filled nicely also. The spicy pork taco was nice, the spice was just enough to keep the pork from blandness and it was tender. The toppings were fresh and bright. Here is what we did not like: The taco shells, both the hard and soft corn ones were not hot. I do not know why some places do not warm the shells properly. The fillings, chicken and pork, also not hot. Come on, don't be afraid of hot food. The Nachos were drenched in queso, so much so that they immediately were getting soggy. I know that it is hard to get a good balance with nachos because it can be dry or drenched, but it should not be so for a place like this. read more

This is my fav place to go to now when I'm visiting my daughter in Orlando. Stole the long-standing spot from Gator's Dockside. I love every single thing I've tried on their menu. AND they have a full bar which is kinda cool for a fast casual restaurant. They even made me a mimosa on request when we went for breakfast. It totally has a beach bar/sports bar feel which makes sense because it is so close to UCF. This place needs to expand into other states. Oh the other reason I really love it, it is CHEAP. We stopped by fuzzies because we saw the sign and the colorful environment. We were surprised when we came in to see that it was self service cafeteria style. The tables were not cleaned between customers however we would dis decide to stay and taste the food. We had to clean our own table. They have drink specials and the food was okay. The enchiladas were very tasty however the tacos left a lot to be desired, dare I say the worst taco I've ever had. The nachos were the best thing we tried, the burrito tasted old and left over. The black beans were edible and so was the cilantro lime rice so overall it was a mixed experience. An A-OK taco chain called Fuzzy's Taco Shop has appeared in Central Florida, one of the locations being close to UCF. I've had the opportunity to try their food twice for lunch, once dining in and once to-go. The set up is similar to other quick serve restaurants - order at the counter and wait for your buzzer to go off to grab your food. I went for the tacos both times because hey, this is a taco shop. I ordered the tacos with different types of meat each time. Shredded chicken, shredded brisket, and spicy pork topped my soft corn shells. The soft corn was excellent and didn't fall apart while I was eating it, which is a win. I found that none of the meats stood out to me as better than the other. I also didn't think the spicy pork was very spicy, but it had good flavor. I topped my tacos with guacamole with my to-go order and I appreciated that they put it in a container on the side. Yay! It tasted like it was made with fresh avocados. For the additional couple dollars, it was worth it. On the day I grabbed my food to-go at Fuzzy's, the music was turned up full blast. Overwhelming menu with lots of options and upgrades blurred my idea of what I was expecting to pay. Point of sale was a bit of a hard sell (good for her, she should go into sales). The wall separating the seating area is lined with laminated menus that you can grab while you wait in line to browse the great selection of food. My eye immediately went to the Taco Plate special. It includes 2 tacos that you can mix and match with any meat, crunchy or soft. It also comes with 2 sides. Seafood is always my go-to meat and I ordered both crunchy tacos, one fish and one shrimp. I had the option of tempura fried or grilled. Both were grilled for me. For my sides, I had Latin Potatoes & Borracho Beans. The manager came to visit us and check on us every once in a while.
