I made an appointment and was on time, but nobody really seemed to want to help me. The gentleman who was my contact person was very short and not very helpful. The worst is when I picked up my car it was raining so the gentleman said take it home and let us know if there are any problems. When I looked at the car the next day the trunk was so tight I struggled to close it and they fixed a ding on the bottom of my trunk, but actually did more damage to the top. There are huge scratches that were not there before! When I emailed them about the damage and included pictures of before and after their response was I can't really see anything in the pictures but I think those were there before you dropped off the car. read more

I have never left a 1 star review, but here it goes. I found this company through Allstate after my car was hit. Nothing crazy, bumper needed to be replaced. 3 visits later, keeping my car 1 week at a time and it's still not right. First 2 times the brand new paint job came back with air bubbles and spots. This 3rd time they did not even bother to re install the bumper correctly. Have been waiting for a call back for 24 hours. I have never been so disappointed with a business. How hard is it??? It is beyond an inconvenience to be without my only car and once again gonna have to leave it for the 4th time! read more

These folks did a great job with my repair, although it took longer than I hoped. They couldn't find a replacement bumper even from the auto company so they ended up repairing the hole themselves. I couldn't believe how good it looked. We did have a communication lapse while they were looking for a bumper but then they kept me fully updated. I'm completely satisfied. read more

The ease of just dropping off your car and knowing your vehicle is in good hands. They checked my car out and sent the quote to my ins. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday for repairs as this place is guaranteed work through AAA. They had my car ready by Thursday with no problems the process was really easy all I had to do was ready the estimate quote and sign off on it same for pickup to confirm the work was done. Andrew recently helped me out with a car door repair. I picked them through my insurance. The shop was not only significantly cheaper and worth a drive over the bridge, they had pretty great processes considering the pandemic. A lot of the stuff could be done online. My car door looks brand new, they cleaned up the car too, and its as if they gave it a quick detail inside. It was like getting in a new car. Disclaimer: The work that C & G Auto did on my vehicle was good work... it was what happened during the time my car was in their care that is the basis of this review. G&C had my vehicle for a week,(12/27/19-1/3/20) when I first arrived staff was attentive. My estimators name was Anthony Hernandez. When I arrived everything seemed to be in order.. It was when I got into my vehicle that things took a turn.. the first thing I noticed was a dirty Samsung plug laying across my driver seat (I do not own a Samsung phone).. I took it out & handed it to Mr. Hernandez & asked if it was his.. I looked in my back seat and saw my cup holder from my center console.. I had left two makeup bags in my center console. One makeup bag was emptied & in the back seat & the other was gone.. I showed this to Mr. Hernandez who went to the passenger side of my car (which had the seat all the way laid back like someone was sitting in it, A mini flashlight was on the passenger side of my car.. I lifted the center console to discover Marijuana remnants & a pair of my sunglasses and tweezers. I asked Mr. Hernandez about this & he asked a detailer if he had seen anyone in my car.. he pointed across the street & told me my car was parked there & said they had issues with Homeless people breaking into cars & sleeping in them.. I asked if they had left my car unlocked & how someone would get into my car.. he stated he wasn't sure but people finds ways.. He said the most he could do was vacuum out my car & have his manager look at security footage call me on Monday to assess what happened & reimburse me for my stolen items.. I left & called my insurance provider.. I also found marijuana rolling papers on my driver side & another adaptor plug plugged into my center console.. Monday came and I did not receive a call so I called & was told by Mr. Hernandez that the manager was not in.. I asked why I was not called he said "sorry I should've called to let you know I left a note for the manager about what happened he will call you tomorrow." Tuesday came & I did not receive a call, I called & left a message.. I received a call back from a man named Gene who stated he was the manager who seemed like he had no clue what had happened to my car. Gene agreed that the situation was mishandled and should have never taken place.. He told me about homeless people breaking into cars & sleeping in them, updated security systems, failed attempts with Vallejo PD and a vehicle being stolen from the property in the past.. he also stated their alarm had been triggered but when he checked the cars no windows were broken out so he assumed everything was fine.. I told him that my car locks on its own when you walk away with the fob & that my car would have to be turned on for someone to have phone plugs plugged in.. he suggested that the phone plugs were stolen plugs left behind.. he told me Honda's were easy to break into.. Gene apologized & offered to have my car detailed and reimburse me for my stolen items.. he said the security camera footage would take him a while to get through (I expect the result will be that they "didn't see anything" or that "my car was conveniently out of view").. this whole ordeal was very disappointing, it makes me think about the people who have access to the cars & what occurs when they think no one is looking.. I chose to go with G&C bc they had better reviews.. I should have stuck with the first option suggested by my insurance.. Gene seemed to value the importance of security at the shop but I think a closer look needs to be taken at the individuals who have access to the vehicles.. the staff I came into contact with seemed to be apologetic and slightly embarrassed, hopefully these sentiments were authentic & result in some serious changes.. its disheartening to have a place that does good work at the cost of you feeling like your vehicle has been violated.. read more

Okay, it's been a few weeks and I now writing a review on this place. I take it seriously to post a negative comment. But I need to warn others. I brought my car here for repairs (this was my AAA insurance recommended repair shop). Lots of excuses as to delays. That was even ok with me as long as I got my car fixed. It was after I brought my car home. It was already getting dark and after parking my car looked around and my car was trashed. Garbage everywhere. I called them right away and asked if their employees normally leave a car like this. They told me "oh, our lot got broken into and someone broke into cars but didn't think they got into yours". What?! No sign of forced entry. They left my car unlocked. Looks as if someone slept in it and they stole my rolling trunk cover floor mats and so much more. It was priced at 650 for some of the items. They finally did give me 500 but the thought that someone slept it in was bad because of the tank smell in my car. I had to get it cleaned out. Lots of food wrappers from places I don't go. Just felt extremely violated. I would choose another repair shop if I was you. Sorry for the long rant. Just thought people should know. read more

Basic repair was done on my vehicle here at Vallejo site. Paint work was ok. I didn't like that after market parts were used. I had problems with my door after the repair was done. Matt, the shop manager stated he would add to the claim to fix it. I called G and C a few days later and Matt said they never heard back from Insurance. I called Geico the next week and there was no record of this manager contacting them to add the door repair. read more

This place was amazing!! The best customer service I've ever experienced. My car got rear ended, my insurance recommended G & C, Lenny Williams was my service writer, and he was excellent. I honestly never heard from my insurance claim adjuster, the rental car place didn't have a reservation for me, Lenny took care of everything. Car was supposed to be in the shop for five days, was done in three. The front office was great as well . Gabby always called back, no matter how busy, and they are busy! I had recently got side swiped and my insurance copy had me take my car to this auto body shop. I was able to make an appointment fairly quick, they were able to set me up with a rental car and they were extremely thorough on what work needed to be done and how much it would cost. Mary was extremely helpful and communicated with me the entire process. We also discovered a part was missing and she got us in the next day and it took 15 minutes or less to get it repaired. I would give 5 stars if it were not for that fact that they forgot to clean my dashboard, so it was covered in tiny shards of glass. Pretty dangerous if you ask me. So got in a car accident on 03/22, obvi not a fun situation, and my first time experiencing this type of ordeal. Thankfully no one was injured, I have full coverage on my 2013 Toyota Camry aaaaand the guys at G&C Auto made this whole thing quite simple! This company was one of the body shops my car insurance referred me to so I didn't really have a choice. But no matter, Ron the manager was very friendly and actually knew what he was talking about, he explained the process to me and how these types of things usually work. C&G blew my expectations out of the water. I woke up to a BB/pellet dent in the rear side door of my Kia Soul and took it to C&G in for repairs. Let me tell you - MY CAR LOOKED BRAND NEW when I picked it up! Not only did they fix the dent, blend the color beautifully (my car's alien green, not an easy match) but they cleaned my car INSIDE and OUT. Cedrick was even thoughtful enough to tell me he didn't use chemicals in the backseat because he could tell I had a dog. I was so glad I went to them. They're contracted with Geico so I also got my car back the next day. Cedrick was my primary contact and he was friendly, professional and helpful throughout the process. I was recommended to g and c for repairs to my 300s. My car went in for repairs for A simple quarter panel and tail light repair on 11/23/2021 , and was scheduled to be done the following Friday 12/03/2022. Everything was well until On the day of my "pick up" I called to see what time I was able to pick up my car. I was put on a brief hold and then told they are going to start tearing the quarter panel down today (the day of the scheduled pick up). They had not even started repairs up until the day of the scheduled pick up and they did not bother to call me and let me know my car would be in the shop for an extra week until I called and reached out to them on the day of pick up. I am extremely let down as my car has been down going on 3 weeks now. A repair that has taken 3 days from past experience! UPDATE : after pick up there is paint splatter on my window panels and rims!
