I was in Anaheim visiting from San Diego when I ran over a piece of metal causing my tire to go flat. It was around 5pm when it happened and by the time I changed my tire out to the spare, it was about 5:30pm. I googled tire shops close to me and PepBoys came up as being the closets so I went there. They told me they couldn't patch it and wanted me to buy a new tire which I knew they were just lying so I googled another tire shop that was still open as most tire shops close at 6pm in the area and found G&G Tires that closed at 7pm. I pulled in at 5:50pm and was in and out in about 20 mins max. Tire was fixed and I was back on the road for $25. Stay far away!! Went for a simple tire patch on my BMW M2 and two "new" tires and they did not patch it correctly, I'm losing air slowly again, they mounted the tires incorrectly and there's a slight wobble and I lost a lug nut on my tire! This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. From the moment I arrived, the service was unprofessional and disorganized. I waited over 30 minutes before they even began working on my car. When I asked for more information about the run-flat tire options, the employee was rude and dismissive instead of being helpful. He told me there were no other options and said that if I didn't like the price or the tire, I could have the tow truck take my car back. That comment was completely unacceptable and disrespectful. No customer should be spoken to that way. To make matters worse, I was quoted $70 but was charged $75 with no proper explanation....It's not about the $5 -- it's about integrity and transparency. I left feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. I will not return, and I strongly recommend others consider going elsewhere. I would highly advise to stay far away from this place, I got 3 tires from them. Drove the car yesterday, and out of nowhere I heard my tires air come out all at once. At first I thought it was a nail, but I got it towed to a 24 hour tire shop since it was midnight. Upon inspection they told me the tire shop who mounted it didn't mount it correctly to the bead and it unmounted itself. I went back to G&G to tell them about it and they did everything to deny it. Said my car was unaligned, I hit a curb, etc. The lady at the cashier had a nasty attitude. I would not come here ever again, very unprofessional. Overall, my experience with this place has been abysmal, and I credit this to Guadalupe, said to be the manager. I had previously gone there to get tires patched up. It had been fine. Most recently I went for the same issue on another tire. Guadalupe pointed out the tread in the back tires was questionable. I told her I was planning to drive over 500 miles so I changed them out for used tires. Within an hour of leaving the establishment my PSI was down to 20. I returned and they said they fixed it. On Christmas Day I wake up ready for my trip and now the rear left tire is almost completely flat. No one is open to look at it or help. I returned on the 26th trying to salvage what I could of the holiday so I can spend some time with my family. I made a reasonable request of a refund for the tires that I am returned and a discount on new tires. I didn't ask for free tires, I asked for a discount. Guadalupe, over the phone, tells the person in charge that they cannot give a discount because the tires are fine. Why would I be lying with someone in the middle of a rainstorm when I am meant to be spending time with my family? If the tires are fine then the error lay with how or whom put them on. I would have appreciated some empathy and kindness. If they had offered even the most minimal of discounts I would've chalked it up to a learning experience but there was a serious lack of depth of feeling that I find hard to understand. Let me start off by saying that I was not planning to patronize this business. It was recommended to me by a friend who lives nearby. I don't live in Anaheim, I'm actually 25 minutes away but was meeting a friend who lives very close to this business and knows these people personally. I had a flat tire this morning which AAA promptly came out to do the work so I was running on my spare. I mentioned this to my friend that I couldn't take long today because I was running on a spare and she said, oh I know some great people who run the best tire shop in town! Once again, I fell for her recommendation and I'm gonna probably lose a friendship over this. So we showed up here and sure enough, the guy found a nail, told me he would patch it right up for me which he did(or so I thought). The work was done quickly(10 minutes), I paid and was happily on my way. I paid 20 to repair the flat which was steep because my normal guy charges 8 but again, I got suckered by this so called friend. A day after coming here my tire was flat again! These guys did a terrible job or should I say no job was done. I took it to my regular guy in Norwalk who showed me where the patch should have been repaired was still there. Unbelievable!! Waste of time and money not to mention that I had to call AAA again to come put the spare back on once again. I can't recommend this business and I feel dumb for coming here and wasting 20 bucks. I understand inflation and I had no problem paying what she said $25. When she told me $25 I said wow that's a difference. Immediately she told me that she charges for the job they do. If I don't like it to go across they charge $40. I was simply in shock how much it went up but never nagged at the price. She told me to go into a dictionary and learn what wow means. It means it's too expensive. This lady has zero respect zero customer service and her attitude is horrible. I came in to purchase one tire, the person inspecting my tires said I needed two tires and show me why, great I purchased two tires. As soon as I left I had low tire pressure on the one I was recommended to replace. I assumed it just didn't have any air. I put air in the tire and went home. The next day the tire pressure was low again. I returned to this untrustworthy establishment and was greeted by a lady who said they would need to inspected it. So they did and she said the tire had a patch which I took to get patched elsewhere, since they don't patch tires here....HUH?? I did what? If I could leave a 0 I would. I have always came to this tire shop up until now. I went since I had a nail stuck in my tire and was told I needed a new tire in which I bought. The lady "owner" of this place told me $245 for the exact same tire my car had and $145 for one similar to it (also new). So I told her I wanted the $145 one. So she had to "order" it because she didn't have it in stock. The next day I came to get it put on and everything went well. Then an hour later I get a call that she mistakenly put $145 instead of $245. So now she wanted me to go back and pay the extra $100 that I should have paid according to her. I told her I did not agree to put the one that was $245 and she tried to blame it on me that I told her to order the more expensive one. When I in fact DID NOT. She started arguing and being so rude. Pressuring me to go in the same day to get it changed. She also kept spamming me every 30min. They told me to pull my car in and they put a jack beside it (they did not lift the car) so waited, waited, waited... then I notice a new vehicle pulled in for a patch work as well then they fix that one first even I was there first.. I did not say anything, then another vehicle pulled in and they worked on that one as well, so I told the front desk.. I was here first but you worked in that car rather than mine.... They said hold on and wait! She was not even apologetic at all.. so I left and went to another shop.. the new shop was faster work and cheaper... I do not recommend this place at all! I went in yesterday because my tire sensor came on and the 6 times that it has gone off, is because my tire has a foreign object stuck to it (nail). I asked the man if he could PLEASE check all my tires to make sure that they were all good. All he did was add air to them, but didn't check for any nails telling me that they were all missing air. Okay, cool... i still know my car very well and i emphasized that i know at least 1 tire has a nail. He said that i could tell if there's a nail if by the next day one of the tires are flat. I decided not to argue and still decided to tip. Fast forward to today, im driving to work in Irvine... my car starts to jolt, i pull over and right passenger tire is FLAT! I am very upset because if the worker would have listened to me in the first place, i wouldn't have to go through this. Shows how lazy they are and how they don't value their customers. This is also the first time a tire shop doesn't proactively check each tire and i've been to a few. Terrible experience. This is the kind of tire shop that everyone needs and there needs to be of them. I try to save money by buying my tires on Amazon and taking them to a shop to put them in for me. Big name places like America's tire was charging me $120 just to put the tires on my rims.. No thanks. My hole in the wall spot to get my tires changed recently closed down so I was a little desperate to find a suitable replacement. My tires were all bald and cracking so I asked my friends for any recommendations. I got one but I stumbled upon this shop and I decided to go with this one. For the same job, they were only charging me $40, the difference is crazy. They don't have the nicest waiting room or anything fancy. You don't get charged out of your mind either. There was no paperwork, but to me, that's a good thing. it saves time. You do get some hardworking guys that'll get you what you need in a timely fashion which is great. I'm not really sure what their tire selection is like or other services. I have a Volkswagen GTI so I'd rather rook online for specific kinds that I want. Anyways, I wouldn't recommend going to any big name tire shops just because the prices are too high. Come here instead, it's faster and cheaper. read more

Was driving home down La Palma when I heard a big boom and then my tire sensor light came on a few seconds right after. I pulled over to the side of the road to see what happened, saw my tire was flat and done. This all happened right across the street from G&G tires. I was happy to see they were still outside working, so I gave them a call to see if they could help me out since it was 12 minutes after their advertised closing time. They not only went out their way and stayed after but I was shown my old tire, what had caused the flat, and the replacement tire they found for me. I usually go to a shop in Orange to get a descent price on mount and balancing but they take forever and a day to do it. I knew there had to be a better and faster shop out there. After being quoted as much a $65 per tire to mount and balance (I buy my high end used tires on eBay), I stumbled upon this place . I noticed in the past they were always busy. They are very friendly and usually charge $15 per tire. Most important THEY ARE FAST!!! Usually takes 10 minutes per tire! Called in a few hours before coming in and asked if it there was going to be a problem mounting new tires on to my car about 2 hours before closing. They answered politely and said to come in and they would do it. Reasonable price, wait time was about an hour and a half but it was busy. There isn't a comfy waiting room and it is a little bit of an eyesore, but all in all it's a tire shop what do you expect. Definitely check it out if you need tire stuff done for a reasonable place. I can see how the supervisor might get a little riled up but imagine working in a shop for hours and someone is trying to lowball you? Take those comments at face value.
