BUY YOUR TIRES HERE - PERIOD!! Okay, usually I am not this direct and bossy, but FR. Tires have been a particular sore spot recently due to the amount of times I have had to replace then due to "unrepairable" road debris that cause holes that cant be patched SUS!!!! Don't get me started on the "extra fees and and protections, "which I pay for per tire, at Americas Tires, and never get the benefit. I just went back to Costco, but they don't do alignment. IU warned about the frustration... I sent a yelp request, Kevin got back to me immediately and even followed up with a call; during a time when it's AI and No customer service, yes please to a HUMAN. Missed his call, but they got me in within an hour 90 bucks for an alignment, I was quoted up to 190!!!!! Moreover, they are competent and not pushy, imagine that. Kevin after listening to me vent about the tire situation a bit, sweetly asked if he could just price check, I said ok...he really wanted to (I was not optimistic after a not dissimilar experience at Audi). HOMEBOY's price was within 5 bucks of COSTCO and they align there. No hidden fees, no bullshit. I do not know how they are doing it, but this is MY SHOP going forward, period. Ending your weekend with finding a nail in your tire is not a way I'd like to spend my day by going to the tire shop. However, I called Lincoln's tires as it was the only shop close enough to me that was open on Sunday. I spoke with someone about the situation. I knew the placement of the nail was not patchable and he advised to bring in the vehicle. Upon arrival, it wasn't as busy but the traffic picked up a bit. Kevin quoted me a good price to replace my rear tires if I'm looking for a more permanent solution. He was not pushy at all, he provided a temporary solution as well but I agreed to replace the rear tires. He advised in 40 minutes the vehicle would be ready. My girlfriend took her car here for an oil change and tire replacement, She drove it straight home (2 miles away). Once we got on the freeway the next day I thought I heard dragging every time we hit a small bump. Pulling over and checking under the car this is what I found. All clips missing and the entire right side (near where the oil filter is) was hanging. I called to inform them and they told me "we don't do oil changes here" practically argued but once I stated I had a receipt saying otherwise he just said "oh yeah...we did that" then said we could bring the car in. Manager proceeded to argue with my girlfriend saying they didn't do it. Once he finally agreed to fix it, put it on the lift, did nothing, then gave the vehicle back to my girlfriend without telling her they didn't fix it. She told me on the phone they sorted it out. I asked her to check, she found it still missing clips and dragging. She confronted the manager only to be told by the manager and mechanic that the car was hot so the clips would break if they put them in. As a mechanic I know this isn't true. I drove there after work and the manager wouldn't have it fixed for $20 worth of clips (I only asked for a partial refund of $20 so I could go buy the clips myself if they didn't fix it). Owner said they would email me footage of the car being worked on as "proof" it has now been well over a week and I have yet to see any proof emailed to me. They obviously screwed it up and wouldn't even do the bare minimum and put some clips in. I recommend avoiding this place, not only do you have a young inexperienced manager to deal with but you will have a young very well educated woman saying " wE DIdNt dO DaT" repeated while trying to talk to the manager. read more
