Location was clean and staff seemed friendly enough. Came in the day prior. Told them I had Goodyear tires and asking if they could take care of me as I had a nail and if they could patch it. He told me to come the next day. He told me just to leave it and I can pick it up for in an hour. I assumed it was free as I had Goodyear tires, but was charged $35. I was never told there was going to be any charge. I assumed it would have been covered. I could have brought it to America's Tire for a free patch. He said as it was purchased at another tire place it wasn't covered. Edit: 2 days later and I get a low tire pressure light up.. they never even patched it. read more

I am so thankful for Western Break and Tire! On a road-trip up to Anaheim for Disneyland, a semi truck ran me off the road and I got a flat tire. Western Break and Tire took care of my car in squeezing us in and getting all four tires changed (I have all wheel drive on my vehicle), as well as an alignment. Someone at the shop even drove my spouse back to the hotel after dropping off the car so he didn't have to get an uber. Did faulty work. Isn't a responsible shop. Didn't treat me with dignity. Sent me on a wild goose chase about fixing his repair. I only took it in to Western for an oil change. Don't go there They flushed coolant that wasn't necessary and cost too much. They Refused to help with tow or rental on their faulty work with all coolant draining from reservoir and oil was leaking. And then he said take it somewhere else after charging me almost 700.00 for faulty work. read more

I am so thankful we found Western Brake & Tire! I took my car for an alignment but I kept hearing weird noises on the right side of my car (near the front tire area). I asked Paul to please check it out as well. It turns out that the whole tire on the right side was loose! I am so thankful they fixed it for me (for free). A wonderful Wednesday morning drive then the light for tire came on and I had to stop find out what's going on. Goodyear Western Brake & Tire was close by and AAA approved facility. Paul the manager is awesome and found the problem. I had a flat tire which was simple to patch up. Only $30 bucks to solve the problem today. Thank goodness for honest people like Paul. Saved me $200 if I had to replace new tires. This Goodyear has been in Anaheim since 1965. Paul is keeping the tradition alive with Great service and honest workmanship. We were in the McDonald's parking lot with a flat tire and they offered to come and take the tire off for us even though they don't have roadside assistance. I got a flat tire one day and called AAA to help me; they got me fixed up on a spare and recommended three places. Western Brake & Tire was one of them. I liked that they were flexible about scheduling. My job can be demanding at times and makes my schedule flexibility a nightmare. I rescheduled 3 different times and all times were quite accommodating and friendly. I decided to show up after being told I didn't need an appointment and waited about 1.5 hours for them to fix my tires up and place new ones. I got a steal on tires, maybe just timing! Came in to get one of my tires checked and they were able to help me immediately even though it'll take about an hour and a half. I only waited half of that after finding out that I had a metal chunk in my tire and it wasn't recoverable. Thankfully they had tires in stock to replace it. Family owned and operated... and it shows. I was greeted by Joe ( the owner ) who was very understanding and caring about getting me back on the road safely. His son Paul went out and got the tire and took it into the shop where they checked the rim out and made sure it wasn't bent and still in good working order after I had blown it out from hitting a curb and Thank God it was! I had told them before when they were nice to fix a flat for me that the people who sold me the tires wouldn't... that if I needed new tires I would come to them... and I kept my promise. They have lots of different tires at all different prices... but Paul, instead of being like other tire shops, didn't try to sell me the highest price one, but instead took the time to ask me about my driving habits and the gave me the best choice for my way of driving. That was impressive to have an honest salesman for a change... and I will never forget that. It only took them about an hour or so to put on the new tires, do a front end alignment and get my car back out front ready to go. The put on some really cool valve stem caps to match my car too. I really liked the finishing touch that added. The filled up the spare tire as well... and if that wasn't enough... they even put back together my tool kit insert that goes in the middle of the spare tire! It was all over the place in the trunk of the car and the took the time to have it all in order so I just had to get in and drive away on my new tires like nothing bad ever happened. I was so taken back by that because other shops just would throw the stuff in the trunk and not have taken the extra time to show they really care about their customers... but at Western Brake & Tire... THEY DO CARE ABOVE AND BEYOND! Do yourself and your car a favor if you need new tires, or even other services they offer like brakes and such... and don't go anywhere else. I figured I had a nail in it and brought it here to get a repair or new tire. They discovered I actually had a cracked rim. I had no idea how it happened. Paul went out of his way to try and locate a new matching rim for me. He contacted several other businesses to see if they had it in stock. This was a huge help to me since I have no knowledge of the shops in this area. Eventually he arranged to have my rim repaired and got my vehicle up and running in a few hours. Highly recommend this place, will never use another tire shop. In this industry, there's a lot of people you can't trust, well these guys are genuine ethical people. A few weeks ago, I got a flat tire, took it to a shop I was close to at the time. Needed both front tires replaced, they only had one in stock. The guy there showed me my front left was loose and said I needed a new bearing and said it would cost between 500-700. (This made sense because I had noticed rattling when driving) I didn't get that done, just got the tire replaced and I was going to check elsewhere. Fast forward to today, I came here to get my other tired replaced. I explained what the other guy said about the bearing and asked if they could get me a quote as well. Not only was the same tire with install $40 cheaper than the other place, they came in half way thru to explain to me that the bearing was loose and it was pretty common with these models, he worked for Hyundai/Kia and was familiar, and it was very simple to fix, just required tightening a part. They did it for free. Now the car drives smooth as could be. I'm just disappointed I didn't have cash on me so I could leave them a tip. All in all, I was out in about 35 min (primarily because there were cars in front of me), I thought it would take much longer. Great experience! read more
