    Cooperstown Burger - perfect medium
    Charles T.

Was able to drop in yesterday and check out G&M's warehouse near Idle Hours South in Scranton. I have been meaning to come here for nearly a year now and finally had a day where I could line it up. I love cooper sharp cheese for cheesesteaks so I began trying it on other things and realized I love it on breakfast sandwiches and burgers too. When someone told me the burgers here were great and I saw one on their menu with Cooper Sharp, it was on like donkey Kong ... or just a fat hungry guy ‍ The Cooperstown Burger was a bacon cheeseburger with caramelized onions using cooper Sharp. It was served on a brioche roll and I added the pickles from the side to the burger. I opted to add fries and cole slaw to the plate (I believe that was a $4 upcharge). This is a burger you should try...like yesterday. The video on this location (and hundreds more) is up on my social media pages which you can access using this link - https://linktr.ee/Didnt_Suck - G&M's Warehouse - Didn't Suck!

Scrambled eggs with American cheese breakfast potatoes and French toast slice

The food is excellent. I love the breakfast potatoes and eggs. My husband loves the hoagies. Large portions.

These are not the prices. Hopefully they can update this so people aren't too shocked by how much they raised the price.

Food is great but it's expensive. Price on yelp is what it should cost but unfortunately it's much more expensive. Google the restaurant and search the menu.

Food is edible and over priced. Wait times are very long and there weren't many people there. Owner is arrogant.

We waited at the front a couple of minutes which was okay considering they seemed busy, but then some party entered and were attended to right away. We basically just followed that party because I overheard the there wwer only tables in the outdoor patio. We were able to establish contact with wait staff out there and so it began. Staff was friendly but service was slow. We were waited on by about 4 different persons, which was a little confusing, but if that what it takes to get served, then fine. Again, I am guessing they were understaffed. We ordered some BBQ ribs which were quite good but the half rack was small IMO. They have nothing on Kansas City, but it was still pretty good. They appear to BBQ their meats on the premises. Ambiance was okay, fine for BBQ and beer. If I lived in Scranton, maybe this place would be on the list of options, IDK.

Don't come here on Wing Night Wednesday…read more. We made the mistake of coming here on wing night. We got our appetizer, chips and dip. Chips were homemade and burnt... 3/10. Dip was fine, probably out of a packet. Little did we know those burnt chips would be the only thing we would be eating for an hour with little to no refills. Seemed to be forgotten about with us being inside and I guess everyone else in the back. After an hour, our food came out. I got the brisket tacos, they were good. 8/10. My table got a chicken cheesesteak and ask for no mushrooms and ofc it came out with mushrooms... We had to get the wings, the wings were good! An hour wait good? No. 7/10. It took a weird amount of time for our last entree to come out and it was just like chicken tenders on a bun, no love. Oh and the pulled pork sandwich was more like slop. Our waitress's excuse was that they had a new chef. Sooooo I guess they decided to start training this chef during service. Food - 8/10 Service - 5/10 Atmosphere - 7/10 Overall - 6/10

I was in the area with some friends and I asked if they wanted to try this place out. It's kinda tucked away on a street I don't usually take. The place looks very retro, like my granddads house. The indoor saloon doors, machinery from the 50s and emphasis on milkshakes all kinda do it. Neat old-school wooden booths and tile floors all kinda make the experience pretty cool. The hot dog was fine. It was a fried hot dog. I put it a tier below the Nathan's Coney Island dog I had in Coney Island. Never been much of a chili of this variety. There was something nostalgic about the experience. Fries were crispy and shoestring just about. Like a cross between McDonald's and the classic diner fry. Milkshake was phenomenal. we got chocolate and mint in our and it was like a liquid Andes mint chocolate. Good value experience. I don't know about getting a hot dog again but I'd certainly return for the shake

The format was unusual in that it appeared to be a carry out place- but with a dining room attached. You order & pay- then go sit and wait for your meal to be served. The dining room is more comfortable than a typical pizza place with a family warmth. Our crew ordered chicken soup, burgers, pizza and a sub to go for out basketball player. We selected their "Old Forge" style pizza- iconic to the region. It didn't disappoint. The crust was light & crispy, the sauce in the sweet side and the blend of cheeses (including American cheese which is the hallmark, I'm told, of the style). It was delicious. I am a pizza 'freak'. I've enjoyed pizza from iconic restaurants in Naples, Rome, Chicago, New York, California, Detroit and now...Scranton! The burger people praised their 8oz. Burgers. The diner that enjoyed chicken soup (an accomplished cook) had high praise for the home made flavor and textures. When you add that we were treated like family members of this family owned establishment, our experience was exceptional. My only "complaints" are that: the check was far less than expected and (more of an opportunity than a complaint) I would have spent $$ for a nice red wine to complement my meal.

We arrived right at 4:00 p.m. on a Friday as they were opening, and everything from the service to the food exceeded our expectations. Our server, Michelle, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made excellent recommendations. They had several daily specials that all sounded amazing. We started with the cheese fries, which instantly brought back nostalgic memories, they were simple, comforting, and absolutely delicious. For our meals, my husband ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad, topped with two large hand-breaded chicken tenders tossed in mild sauce with blue cheese dressing. My daughter loved her 6-cut Red Pizza, which arrived perfectly crispy and full of flavor. I ordered the wings, fried to perfection and served with mild sauce and blue cheese. On Michelle's recommendation, my son went with the Breakfast Burger, and wow! It was enormous and incredibly juicy. Every bite was outstanding. If you're anywhere near the area, do not sleep on this place! Their slogan says "Almost Famous," but I honestly don't think they'll be "almost" for much longer. Get here before everyone else discovers this hidden gem, you'll be glad you did!
