This pizza didn't look as good as it actually tasted. I asked for extra sauce and couldn't see it but could definitely taste that and the unique cheesiness. The service was also great they called me in less time quoted to pick up the pie. The prices are very reasonable too. The only reason why they lose a star is because pepperoni was accidentally placed on two slices and that could've been a horrible day had we not noticed it prior to eating.

Pizza House is a totally right part of the name for Maroni's as this is indeed a house in the middle of a neighborhood like they have next door neighbors I found this whole location to be quite interesting as this is just something you don't always see. So on with the pizza! Of the options I went with a Square with pepperoni and onions my favorite it was ready at the promised time which was perfect as I was just passing through here. We took our pizza to a park and ate it the pizza was interesting as well but yummy all to it's own as the cheese was something like I've never had before it was like a liquid cheese mixed with mozzarella but still good in it's own unique way! The pepperoni was yummy and had a decent amount of them all over the square pie making for almost some in every bite. The only short fall here was the crust as it wasn't the best I've had but that interesting cheese sauce made up for it as I dunno I just kinda was like totally into it!

Grilled cheese pita bread pretending to be pizza. Absolutely no sauce.

Had to throw out because it's literally a grilled cheese sandwich on pita bread. I ate two slices hoping I'd like it, but I honestly don't, I don't like grilled cheese so out it goes. There's no sauce, just a flat bread grilled cheese sandwich pretending to be a pizza. Meatballs were good, the only thing that resembled pizza I guess. Made a Red Barons personal pizza and added the salvaged meatballs. I'd give it a zero, but the topping was good. Never again.

I ABSOLUTELY LIVE Moroni's pizza. I HAVE BEEN EATING HERE SINCE I was little. Now 3 generations later I still enjoy this hometown staple.I moved away 15yrs ago however, visit Scranton at least 2/3 times a year and I always make sure we have pizza night with Moroni's.I even order trays to take back home... I just love it

We were looking for a local pizza place (we aren't from Scranton) after doing the local Buddy Walk on a Sunday afternoon. When we walked in, the place was empty but the staff behind the counter was very busy at work, so we figured they did a pretty good take out business. We sat in the very chilly, very outdated dining room. I'm guessing they don't get many people who dine-in. The menu is very small, they offer pizza (square and round) and some subs. We ordered a round with sausage and pepperoni and a second round with half plain and half onion and sausage. It was brought out in a timely manner and was very hot. The cheese was very soupy and we had to let it cool a bit so the entire top didn't slip off when taking a piece. We didn't care for it at all. It just wasn't for us. The cheese is an American cheese mixed with sauce and like I said, it had a very soupy consistency. They did have a steady stream of folks coming in for take out so obviously it's for some people!

Great local pizza joint serving old forge style pizza. Was our first intro to this style and we loved it! Sauce was outstanding, little sweet which we like. Got one 1/2 blend cheese 1/2 moz. 1 kid loved the blend, other loved the moz. We enjoyed both but actually preferred the moz. Use real moz, not the fake plastic kind. Very cheesy, couldnt stop eating it! Crust is also very light and crisp on the bottom, not nearly as heavy as regular thick crust. Also ordered a pepperoni, sausage and mushroom with blend which was our fav! Sausage is homemade and prob the BEST sausage we've ever had on a pizza! Pepperonis were also thick and really good. Quality ingredients, great service, pies came out in 25 mins from call in. Bonus they have RC cola!! Def recommend!

A Scranton staple for great pizza. Get a little more sauce on the pizza and it sets it off great, especially the pepperoni

In all of my 32 years, this was literally the best buffalo chicken pizza I've EVER eaten! I actually wiped off some of the sauce to begin, fearing that it would be the stereotypical salty, vinegar-forward buffalo sauce. I regretted my decision: It was an ever-so-pleasant, slightly sweet, based, mild buffalo sauce. The pizza actually has thin slices of breaded chicken as a topping. I've never found a buff chic pizza that had chunks of baked, well-seasoned, thinly-sliced, breaded chicken tenders on top. It reminds me of what you'd find at a place like Ninas on their breaded hot wing hoagie; with a very similar sauce profile. This wouldn't be a true pizza review if I didn't note any critiques. The Dough was definitely homemade but it was slightly under done for my liking *I do understand they were pumping out hundreds to trays during the festival. The only aspect of this keeping it from being a 9.5+ slice was a little char on the undercarriage. A little color mixed with the breaded chicken and phenomenal sauce would take both the pizza's overall rating and its aesthetic/presentation to the next level! Well done Electric City Pizza! I scarfed it down so quick, I didn't get a chance to take a photo

Tons of events and trivia in their schedule for folks looking for a night out on weekdays or weekends. The interior is mildly psychedelic with music. The food was fine. We got the burger and nachos. I was between giving 3 and 4 stars. Service was slow but the venue was busy, there was an event, and the night crew was picking up when we were there. The buffalo chicken nachos were fine. We appreciated the crispiness of the tortilla chips and the excellent cheese sauce that was well-distributed on the chips. There was tomato among other veggies that I do not remember. The chicken was fine for me on a cut. However, it had the texture of boiled chicken which I wasn't a huge fan of. Still had to get my protein in. I really enjoyed the burger. The bun was a soft potato roll. The patty was a little cooler. Between a cold burger and soggy nachos I certainly would choose the cool burger. This was made up for with the large volume of burger that was deliciously crispy. The pickles accompanied the burger with a secret mayo-based burger sauce. If warm, it could be a 5/5 burger. Overall, the experience was fine. I would go here on a week day rather than 6 on Friday, though.

I would say that this is probably the best deep dish pizza that I've tried in a while and I used to live in the Midwest. The crust was super crunchy and very buttery, which is great. There was onions on there. There was corn on there. It just felt very very hearty. it's definitely heavy dish but it hits a spot if you're looking for a deep dish pizza they did it very well. Ok I'm in, I'm Italian, homemade pasta is right up my alley. We sat down, friendly staff (young and distant), but an extremely strange setting. It was like walking into a Wayfair showroom with a pasta kitchen. The branding was a bit horrid in my opinion, but I work in that industry, so I couldn't get over the esthetic before I even got to the food. The TV "paintings" with random art were the "highlight" truly... I'm being too kind. The wedding table numbers, really were killing me in the worst way. This place was like a mishmash of identities with no real clarity of execution or strategy on how to accomplish what they're trying to be. A crash landing of ideas with no real destination. Now the food and drink! The plates were the size of a small luggage! For starters, the "fresh" bread they offered with a rancid tasting olive oil and the tiniest drop of balsamic vinegar was appalling. The calamari was decent at best... it tasted factory made, the coating was thick and it came with the tiniest portions of sauce. I want my calamari, piping hot, with a really thin coating and a ton of sauce, that's just me. The chicken cutlet was a flavorless flour-dredged slab of meat. Barely pounded out and coated in a thin breading, with no seasoning, and it was crazy big! The Gnocchi four cheese was like eating dough turds in glue. The texture was not good at all, and reminded me of undercooked packaged pasta, and weirdly overcooked all the same time... like the water wasn't boiling and they added the pasta in while it was cold. Gnocchi should be pillowy soft and should literally fall apart in the mouth and the cheese sauce should not be like hair gel stuck to the food. It's Italian food, it's supposed to be herbaceous and well seasoned, this was food for non-Italians, who think they could like Italian food if it was just a little more bland and assimilated... without all the immigrant culture, ya know?! The best portion of the dish was the non-alcoholic drink, which is saying a lot. I genuinely hate to leave a terrible impression, but I really hated this meal, and I'm shocked by the reviews. It would seem a lot of people are here for the big portions and cheap food. Not a quality food experience. Everyone's got their own taste!
