The product that arrived at my house a few weeks later was totally different than what I sat on and ordered. Overinflated cushions that felt like silicone implants/bouncy houses. My couch was supposed to be "angel soft" or some super soft cushion. Nope. And it was 6 inches longer than we wanted. To Richard's credit, he tried to fix it, sent someone out to address the cushions and then picked it up and shortened it (which I paid for even though it arrived longer than I wanted) . And then they cut it too short...end result was worse somehow, a sort of Frankencouch. This was a lost cause from the start. Biggest case of buyer's remorse I've ever had. Wound up buying a SECOND couch at Room and Board, which is what EVERYONE told me to do in the first place. Desperately wish I could go back in time and spend that 3k+ on something I didn't need to have Remoov haul away 6 months later. I wanted to buy local and they were nice people, so that why I gave them my business. Don't make my mistake. Save your money. Avoid this place.

From start to finish, Giorgi Bros was one of the best retail experiences we've ever had. We were greeted warmly, asked if we wanted to look around or was there something they could show us. GREAT question. We told the saleswoman what we were looking for & she walked us all the way to the back of the showroom & showed us exactly what we had pictured & hoped for. I don't think that's ever happened to us before. Sales process was easy, they asked for 50% down & let us know about when the furniture would be ready for delivery. Here's where it gets even better. About 3 weeks after our visit to Giorgi Brothers, we stopped into a furniture store in San Bruno to look at tables. We saw the same sofa we had just purchased at Giorgi, but it was almost $300 less & they offered free shipping. Now what? Too late to cancel, but quite a price disparity. I got a written price quote from store #2, submitted it with a gently worded email to Giorgi Brothers, asking if they might consider matching the price and they said YES. I was floored. I want to give big props to everyone at Giorgi Brothers for their above & beyond excellent service and standing by their policy of price-matching. The synthetic rugs I ordered would arrive smelling of strong chemicals, and/or be greasy with whatever substance they sprayed on it. The natural rugs I ordered online, would be too scratchy and also odd smelling, the fibers too long and easily caught by my cat's claws. What I really needed, was to be able to see and touch the rugs in person. Therefore, I was so grateful to having come across Aladdin Rugs & Mattresses. I knew immediately that I would be walking away with a rug that day. Albert was extremely kind, patient, and professional in answering all my questions and allowing me to examine the rugs in different lightening, all without any pressure to purchase. It was an exemplary level of customer service I felt has been forgotten by so many other businesses, but was alive and well here. When he asked my purpose for replacing the foam, he listed 4 reasons people replace cushions and suggested that if the foam was comfortable, it didn't seem that old or in need of replacing. My experience was that Cushion Works is competent and efficient but they are honorable. Gary could have done the job, charged $650, but he didn't let money drive the encounter. I walked away with more information and no cost, as I decided to follow the expert recommendation. Ethics and kindness come first at Cushion Works.
