I went to Galvan's Tire Shop to receive a service on my tires. The issue was my TPMS light was on and I needed the sensors checked out. Rosario was the only one who could help with checking the sensors. She looked at all the sensors and they were fine except for the right rear sensor which she said wasn't good anymore. She didn't have the part on hand so we waited about 20-30 minutes until she came back with the new sensor. I don't know anything about cars or sensors so I was leaving that knowledge up to the mechanics themselves. I didn't realize there are two types of sensors, one with a rubber valve and one with a metal valve. She had bought a rubber valve sensor and my car only had metal valve sensors. So I was unaware that maybe this sensor she bought would not work on my vehicle. She replaces the sensor and tells my boyfriend it'll turn off when we drive a few miles. The TPMS light never turned off, so my boyfriend goes back to see what other issues there could be. They checked the tires and there was holes but they patched those up, yet the TPMS light had not turned off yet. Therefore the services that Galvan's Tire Shop provided me were not sufficient and they did not resolve the issue. I had to go to a Honda dealership to fix this small issue, they came back and said there mechanical device wasn't even registering the sensor in the right rear tire. The mechanic told me it was a rubber valve sensor and that specific type of sensor doesn't work on all cars. My boyfriend calls Rosario, and she tells us it is an electronic device so we can't get are money back even though they didn't complete the job, we lose $120. She further tells us we should've gone back but as I previously stated we did go back and they couldn't figure out what else was wrong since all the tires were patched up and all the sensors showed they were working on her mechanical device. She then says it's the Honda dealership that is trying to make us pay double (Which we did not have to pay double), and that the sensor she bought is correct. Yet, if the sensor was correct why is the TPMS light still on? If you go to mechanic shop and need a service done and they weren't able to complete that service you expect your money back. She couldn't figure out that a rubber valve sensor does not work on my car (Yes, humans make mistakes but usually mistakes lead to getting your money back and an apology). She also states she puts the same rubber valve sensor on all the cars she's worked on and it worked for them. However, it didn't work on our car so we expect our money back. The excuse that you can't return electronic devices is absurd. If you go into BestBuy and buy a computer assuming that it is working correctly, and go home to find out there is an issue with lets just say the keyboard, you go back and return the computer and they give you your money back or replace the computer they first gave you because it is under warranty, and all electronic devices are covered under warranty. So how does that not apply in this situation? If the device SHE bought to fix my car doesn't work, that is not my fault that is a mistake on her part because the TPMS light is still on.. She was adamant on telling us she won't refund us for the part she bought. So for anyone looking to get services done at Galvan's Tire Shop I would think twice before you go here, you might lose your money and be left with unresolved issues on your car. read more

They were nothing but friendly since i walked in. Came here by a recommendation from a friend. Was quoted a price from a another auto repair place and they did the same work for $350 less. I highly reccomend this place. Wish i would have known about it before. Will be coming here for any of my auto work from now on. read more
