We walked to this diner from our Airbnb down the street! You order at the counter, grab your own drinks, then go find a table. They have many indoor tables in their large central dining area plus some picnic tables on the front patio. My friend ordered a cold brew and felt like it was too strong and bitter, but the regular hot coffee was good. The food came out in a timely manner but there's not much else to say regarding service since everything else is serve-yourself style. I got the breakfast sandwich, the eggs were extra fluffy and creamy! It only came with a few small pieces of bacon which made it feel like the egg to bacon ratio was off. Other than that, the croissant was large and the sandwich as a whole was pretty good! My husband got a breakfast burrito and liked it, the salsa was a great addition. Prices were affordable and food was good, not a bad place to grab a quick bite to eat!

15 dollers for a thin frozen patty.... The audacity of some of these restaurants. Not sure why they charge so much for a single burger that's less filling than a McDouble lol

The food came out extremely quickly! We were so impressed by this. Galaxy Cafe has eclectic space-themed decor. You order at the counter then seat yourself. There was plenty of seating available on a Saturday at 11am for our group of six. Their parking lot is small, but we had no trouble finding open spots. I had the "homemade" oatmeal, which comes with milk (of your choice), raisins, and brown sugar on the side. I like how it was on the side as I did not add all the sugar to my oatmeal. It was, however, really expensive at $7.57 for a very normal-sized bowl of oatmeal with limited toppings. My friend got the breakfast sandwich and said he liked it. Another friend got the Mexican Breakfast, and he said, "I thought it was fine. Not bad not great." I appreciate how they have a small vegan menu with modifications as my vegan friend was able to order an assortment of a la carte items. I think this is not a bad place for brunch, but the oatmeal is outrageously priced. The food coming out fast is so commendable though, that I must give the restaurant 4 stars.

Finished up a bike ride and breakfast at Galaxy hit.the.spot. The Galaxy Breakfast Bowl was dense in protein (eggs and beans) with a variety of vegetables and some breakfast potatoes. The textures and colors were a plus for me! Will absolutely order again. The egg dishes complemented well with the pancakes (shared with another). Appreciate that the coffee is diner style with unlimited refills, too! Looking for something refreshing? The pomegranate green ice tea (with a squeeze of lemon) is something I'd suggest. We were checked on quite a bit by a number of different service members, ensuring we had everything we needed.

Great experience at Galaxy Cafe this morning for breakfast! Has a nice neighborhood cafe vibe with the nicest staff I've encountered in ages - super friendly and attentive!! We came with a group of 14 (in town for a sports event) around 9:30am and we were able to quickly place orders and get served. They have inside seating but also many outdoor tables which was perfect this morning. I had the pancake breakfast and added chocolate chips and bananas - delicious. Also came with a side and fresh fruit. A solid meal - slightly expensive but can't complain. The rest of the group enjoyed their meals as well ranging from their breakfast bowl, the big breakfast, and wraps.

Outstanding presentation and taste! After a disappointing experience at Phil's Icehouse, I wasn't sure about Galaxy for lunch. You guys knocked it out of the ballpark! I don't even eat veggie anything, but this tasted great! Thank you for a wonderful first-time experience. I'll be back.

Simple menu but what I got are nice and fresh. Order and pay at the counter, then will bring the food to you.

Needed a good breakfast spot and drove by this place. Overall good food and good atmosphere. Service was fairly quick. Only negative were the eggs were slightly bland...nothing that some Tabasco and pepper couldn't fix.

What a sweet little spot! My partner and I were looking for some breakfast. It was a battle between Galaxy and another spot close by. We did a coin toss and I am so happy it landed on heads! We arrived around 11am. Surprisingly, There was one open spot for outdoor dining. We ordered at the register and sat outside. We both ordered lightly from the kids menu as we were going to meet our friends for lunch at 1. Haha. My partner ordered pancakes with a side of extra crispy bacon and a small coffee. (They have almond milk, you have to request it) I ordered a breakfast taco with eggs, mushroom, and red peppers and a small orange juice. ( you can choose 2 ingredients with the eggs) I thought I ordered bacon but I did not :( Our order including tax and tip was $16 They were prompt with bringing our items out! I was also very impressed with the beverage refilling area. It was clean and organized! Really enjoyed, and hope to return soon!

Great little cafe in the heart of the Clarksville neighborhood. The service was super quick and everything was tasty. You get to pick your own taco fillings and both the tacos I got had generous portions. However the clear standout was the breakfast sandwich. All the ingredients seemed fresh and freshly prepared. They also have a few sweet treats which go well with the house coffee. A great vibe for catching up with friends or chilling by yourself.

Fabulous! My friend…read moreTiffany told me about Anthem on Rainy Street. Neither of us had been, and also it's been years since we've been on Rainy Street. So we thought we would make a whole night of it. Tiffany did make reservations for us for 7pm and even though this is a bar hopping neighborhood, even at 7pm it was pretty busy. Streets were full of people. Anthem had a vibe. I felt the energy as soon as I waked in. The cozy booths with the U shaped seating with plush green velvet fabric. Wait staff wore Hawaiian shirts. Sitting up behind me on a ledge was the Easter Island statue. Insert (Night At The Museum) here, dumb dumb give me gum gum. Anthem was our first stop tonight. Just drinks and a dinner. I ordered the Peach Fuzzy drink. Not too sweet, refreshing, peachy, and beautiful garnish of a flower. I ordered the Yummy Fries which looked like a salad. Gorgeous presentation. Fries were actually waffle sweet potatoes. Pickled ginger, sesame seeds, furikake, aïoli and a few other wonderful ingredients. Could not get over how beautiful everything looked. Presentation outstanding. Service delightful. Had a wonderful time at Anthem. We both did use the ladies rooms before leaving. Inside the bathroom there is a sign about safety and if you need assistants. I did take a picture of it. On our way out, Brian the manager, said good night to us and waved. We were excited to try the food, and were hungry. Our server appeared (I can't remember his name but he was a short guy with blond hair). I ordered a cocktail and my husband ordered beer to begin with. He went away and then came back asking my husband if he wanted some whiskey cocktail, and we corrected him that we had asked for a particular beer. No big deal. We then ordered the deviled eggs and shishito peppers, and the red fish and short ribs for entree. A lady brought us the drinks, and the deviled eggs. Our server swung by and then disappeared. We thought the shishito peppers were on their way. We waited for what seemed like a really long time and still no shishito peppers. We also noticed that each table had a carafe of water except ours. We were just given water once, and then our server never bothered to fill the water up. Anyway, we kept waiting since there was no sign of the server. At this point, we felt he might have forgotten the second appetizer and we just did not want it, but he was nowhere to be found. A man (not our server) brought out our entrees. We then told him that we had been waiting for our second appetizer and would just want to cancel it. We asked if we could get the biscuits instead. He brought out the biscuits within a few minutes. Now this is where it really annoyed us. Had our server just come over and said he had forgotten our shishito peppers, it would have been okay. Human. What he tried was act smart and dropped by saying the shishito peppers would be out to which we said that we didn't want an appetizer after an entree and had cancelled it. I almost felt like he was treating us as if he thought we don't really dine out or whatever and he could just make fools of us. This really didn't sit right with me. We asked him for water and he filled it up left. The food was above average. The short ribs were good but my red fish had been hammered! The biscuits were good. The deviled eggs were good as well. Anyway, we finished our meal, and got the check, paid, and were waiting to finish our drinks. The receipt was on our table. Also, note, it was not a particularly busy day with several empty tables. What our server did next was absolutely unacceptable. I think he wanted to see if we had tipped him after his awful service. We did, but not 20% as we always do because of the soddy job he did, not to mention his attitude. We paid 15% which I think was more than what he deserved now. Out of nowhere, and mind you, after being absent for long periods before, he just came by, grabbed the paid up bill from our table to our shock, while we were still sitting and talking, looked at the bill, turned towards us, and muttered something angry under his breath and walked away. I have never seen this level of entitlement and bad behavior. We left right away. We had been really looking forward to this meal but I would not want to go back. The food was good, but not great, and I would not want to put up with such obnoxious behavior as a paying customer.
