In other words, I know my way around a dealership(or at least I think I do) The front end: All of the same salespeople, Finance, and General Manager. This place is no revolving door, it's obvious that they listen to their employees. Everything starts at the top, and Todd Tumminia is always in a good mood. During the Pandemic, his lot was virtually empty and he said new cars were coming in a trickle and used cars were nonexistent, his lot showed that. His attitude was "All in good time" Back in my days in the business, I would've needed a heart transplant. You can't sell it if you don't have it" was our motto. So I'd say he's pretty easy to work for. The service department is very proficient, they have everything covered. I get right in and right out, never any excuses. The service manager carries his small dog around in a satchel, which I think is great. I'm sure they're both the better for it. Then, there's Sonny. Sonny Tumminia is four legged family and he's in charge of greeting customers, and he loves children. The attitude is decidedly casual, as it should be. As somebody with a lot of experience, I very much appreciate that. And hopefully, you do too.

Best they could do was $6K off, then I went to Adams Toyota in Lee Summit, they took $12.5K off MSRP for exact same truck with same options. I would not recommend Jay Wolfe to even consider for a new vehicle purchase, they are a small dealer and can't compete with local dealers. Service If you schedule few weeks in advance then it's not too bad, however I did have bad experience with them. I was first 5 cars in line at 8AM on Saturday, but due to utter disorganization from the check in staff, I was the last one to get picked since they changed their approach on how they would take customers. I believe people who had not scheduled their appointment jumped in front of me. Their labor rates are same as other dealers, so cost won't be different. I only had oil changes with them, so I am not sure how they will work on warranty items. Overall, this dealership needs to catch up. I met few employees that didn't speak great about this dealership and the management. That is never a good sign.

I knew the vehicle I was very interested in beforehand so I test drove it. For the condition and mileage of their vehicles and the cost, you can't find anything like it anywhere else. Other dealers want way too much money for a high mileage/age car. I felt like my buying experience was stress and anxiety free. STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT! The car dealer would not buy back my…read more2014 iQ (Toyota Scion brand) saying it was too old. But CARMAX didn't flinch when providing an online offer so I took it in, expecting they would lowball it, which they did: by 1/3. However, some inconsistencies were reported by the agency, reflecting odometer tampering, battery & tires purchase dates, that were bringing down the price. Jose, at the Independence store gave me a number to call and see if the agency could match the information could explain so it could be updated before COB. Agency said it would take 3 hours, already 2:30, so it would be close. Long story short, the agency came through (I didn't have to spend the night in the store, as I had decided to stay until the items were updated). The final check was just what I was quoted on the CARMAX site. I knew what my car's value was. It was PERFECT and the store could set it out on the lot without touching up anything! EVERYONE, whether selling outright, or trading, should read carefully the details on the printed estimate that can bring a car's price down several thousand dollars. I ended up walking out with a check a few hundred less than the original online offer. I was rear ended in October exiting the highway and had no idea where to even begin when it comes…read moreto repairing a car or assessing damage. After exchanging info with the person who hit me, I began my journey with insurance companies and on a recommendation from Molle Toyota (where I have my cars serviced) I found Hendricks. I was encouraged when I saw the Yelp reviews and made an appointment. When I arrived they did a quick assessment of the damage and then told me they'd be in touch with next steps. Now, this was mid October and I had to follow up with them several times to get any feedback on where we were at (which was annoying), and then by the time November came we had a new baby so life got pretty chaotic. They eventually got back to me mid November letting me know that they thought that the car had sustained more damage than Allstate agreed to pay for so they were asking for more money to do the fix. Since the car was still at our house, Allstate sent someone over to evaluate and luckily for us they agreed with Hendricks and we more than doubled what the insurance was initially willing to pay. I can't speak to repair work or timeliness on that front but I am very grateful for these folks as had they not challenged the quote from the insurance we wouldn't have gotten as much for our car.

I sat with Craig and he did a great job of discovery asking questions of how I am going to use the car. I took a few cars for a test drive and made a decision quickly but at no time did they pressure me. I met with the finance guy Thomas who got me a great APR. he did push quite a bit to add on an extended warranty. but after a few "no's" he conceded. They gave me a great deal on my trade-in. In fact, Craig let me fill out that part on the tablet knowing I had a bad experience at Toyota. The entire experience took about 3.5 hours but I left with no "buyer's remorse."

I thought enterprise checked their cars before selling them, but apparently not. They're very helpful when getting your money, but once they have it, they could care less about the lemon they sold you. Extremely frustrating.
