    Flounder and shrimp combo dinner
    Kenya J.

If my plate looks picked through, it's because I couldn't wait to get home for a taste. I've driven past this place many times over the years and never stopped. It was recommended to me by another seafood lover. I gotta say I am not disappointed. There's a sign inside that says "this is not fast food, all food is cooked to order" and it's true. I placed my order and was told it would be a 15-20 min wait, but I didn't wait that long. Service was friendly and amazing. I feel the need to mention, if you don't care for the smell of raw seafood, put in your order and wait in the car.

    Fresh and very tasty

I'm never getting seafood anywhere else!! Fried bream for lunch was delicious, then when I realized it was a market, I returned after work for shrimp. The shrimp and grits I made at home, but the shrimp came from Galle's. They get shipments on Tues and Thurs (I believe that's what he said). I can't wait to go back!!

Delicious seafood! I had the perch and shrimp plate. It was amazing! If I had to choose again I would go with potato salad over the slaw. The hush puppies are ok. We also got a few pounds of bream. It was cooked perfect. The cups of cocktail and tartar are tiny so ask for more!

One thing I love about this city is the hospitality. Walked in, and felt like a regular. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I had a taste for fried catfish and yelp lead me to the right place. A seafood market and a restaurant and the food was done right. I got a catfish filet, and whole catfish, and fried shrimp. Seasoned to perfection, hot and fresh! I'm in the city working twice a year and can't wait to get back!

I tried this place because a group of colleagues were ordering food to-go. We placed our orders over the phone. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because they have no vegetables that are not fried. They fry everything, even vegetables! Other than that I liked it. Now Galle's Seafood is not a place you want to sit down and have your food unless you are a fan of the smell of fresh seafood. It has seating for you, but all the people that visited were picking up orders. Galle's Seafood is a seafood market as well. You can get mullet, croaker, nile beam, catfish, sheephead, trout, flounder, red snapper, black bass and the list goes on. Again, the fish is displayed near the area where you place or pick up orders. They also have crab legs and jumbo scrimp - all the makings of a good cook-out or low country boil. I ordered something pretty simple. I had the 10 piece fried shrimp, which I would have preferred grilled, but as I mentioned before, they fry everything. This meal came with one side. I ordered the potato salad and I normally don't eat potato salad that was not prepared by my Mom, but it was really good. Your meal also comes with corn nuggets, a kin to hush puppies. I liked them and I counted them as my vegetable. Lol! The other sides available are cole slaw, fried okra, baked beans and hush puppies. Overall, the food was awesome. My colleagues eat here often and they always enjoy their meals. The location is off Laney-Walker Blvd. toward East Boundry. If you aren't familiar with the area, you may need to use your navigation. You can't miss it. There's a huge sign with an arrow pointing to a blue and white building. There is limited parking on the side of the building. The staff was really nice. They work quickly and do so with a smile. The owner made sure to tell me that although they fry everything, they fry it in peanut oil, so it's healthy. *Snickers*

If you've never been there, they will start you out with samples of all of their lemonade (which all of them are incredibly flavorful) and you'll inevitably get one because it's THAT good. The staff comes with recommendations to help you navigate the menu and they are so attentive and helpful. I'd go as far to say that they had some of the best service in Augusta. Now to the food, 10/10 I could not recommend them enough. I've had the honey lemon pepper wings and the loyalty platter. And it was so good. The honey lemon pepper wings were full of deep flavor and they give you at-least 10 wings with the plate. The steak and shrimp are the best seasoned meats I've ever had at a restaurant. I've also had a few nibbles of their seafood and ‍. Then when you're ready for dessert, don't worry you get samples too. The blue velvet is my favorite but all of them are award winning so you can't go wrong when it comes to Nattas sweet treats. Over all, great experience, great people, and great place. Get out and support local, it'll never disappoint. P.S. if you think it's pricey, you're wrong. You get what you pay for here. You get no less than two meals out of one plate.

The portion sizes are generous and very tasty. I made a Southern Palmer with their Peach Tea and Unsweetened Ice Tea 1/2 & 1/2 of both mixed together, was the perfect beverage to pair with the Honor Platter. I finished the honorable meal with The Strawberry Velvet Cake Brownie & Red Velvet Brownie dessert pairing. The service from when I stepped in, while eating and leaving was exceptional, inviting and very pleasant. Shurell was fabulous, vibrant and a fresh of breath air. I highly recommend Kitchen Kings x Natta's Sweet Bakery to discover Augusta's Hidden Gem off Gordon Hwy. The Ambiance was the perfect R&B Vibe for a casual, sexy Saturday. The music Playlist was the perfect R&B garnish to the entire dining experience. I will be back for their Low Country Boil & the wonderful Strawberry Velvet Cake. For the price of this meal I can go to other places such as Frog & Hen, or Cork & Flame, and get the crumbs scraped off my tablecloth with a knife. Sorry, but when a customer arrives expecting to pay top dollar for a meal, they expect the meal, the service and the atmosphere to be too notch as well. Brinkleys didn't hit that mark.

They have a valet system, so no worries about parking. Staff have been very professional and friendly, so 5/5 stars for that. I ordered the 8oz filet mignon, medium rare. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly! It came with asparagus and mashed potatoes covered in a crispy layer of batter, which all complimented the steak well. I tried their tuna tartare, which had an interesting take on what the tuna was served on. I've always been used to tuna tartare being accommodated with bread, but this was sushi rice compacted and covered in some light batter. Felt like I was eating tuna sushi. Apply some of the sauces it comes with and seriously was fantastic. I also got to try 4oz of their Japanese A5 Wagyu. Super expensive; $80 dollars for four ounces, but worth the experience. You cook the thin pieces over a hot stone and apply some of the seasonings like salt it comes with. I cooked each side for about 30 seconds, sprinkled some salt, and it melted in my mouth! I ended my meal with their carrot cake and it was moist, not overly sweet, and had a great savory taste. I really enjoyed my time here and certainly will be back again. There is a bar and at the back of the restaurant, you can see the baseball field. Restrooms were clean, but only one stall from what I've seen in the men's room. Overall 5/5 steak house experience.

From the moment you see the brick building and walk inside, you get this warm, classic Georgia café vibe. It is cozy, welcoming, and full of character. It is the kind of place you want to slow down and enjoy. We came in for lunch and everything was outstanding. I had the Curious George, which is turkey topped with spinach dip and provolone cheese on sourdough bread. It was absolutely fantastic. Warm, savory, and perfectly balanced, it felt like true comfort food done right. It also came with a fresh side salad and great dressing that honestly could have been a meal on its own. My boys ordered the chicken quesadilla and nachos, and both were big wins. The quesadilla was crispy and cheesy. The nachos were fully loaded with seasoned beef, black beans, melted cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, plus salsa and ranch on the side. The portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. Then came the desserts. We tried chocolate cake, carrot cake, and red velvet cake. We ordered half slices and they were still huge. Every single one was incredible. The red velvet and carrot cake were made with real cream cheese frosting. The carrot cake was rich and moist. The chocolate cake was deeply decadent. Pairing the carrot cake with a cup of their coffee was the perfect finish. The coffee was smooth and flavorful and exactly what you want with dessert. We were also lucky enough to be taken care of by Reagan, who was incredibly kind, beautifully stylish, and so helpful with my boys and me. She gave great recommendations on dishes and portion sizes. Her warmth and attention truly elevated the entire experience. Between the cozy atmosphere, outstanding food, unforgettable desserts, and exceptional service, Boll Weevil is now officially a must stop every time we are in Augusta. Come hungry.
