My western omelette was perfect as far as Western omelettes go coffee was really nice and I was missing my coffee the whole week I was down in the keys [I don't drink Starbucks]. This is a cute little place and our breakfast was scrumptious! They have so many options but I had the Hobo (the half size was more than enough food for me!). There aren't many restaurants in the lower keys ie in Big Pine until you get to Key West... but omg this place will never have to worry about competition. Found it by chance looking for a good brunch place... the waffles, French toast, & pancakes are thick and fluffy and everything is incredibly delicious. Mimosas for the win!!! So far I have only had breakfast but we are sure to be returning for lunch and dinner (and I'm sure brunch again) I got the crab cake eggs Benedict with home fries, which I can say is one of the best I've ever had. The food is amazing. Unfortunately I was treated like a third class passenger on the titanic at 11:15 am. Ive been here about 10 times and the wait staff has always been very friendly except for this visit. The place was empty except for for two tables and we had a party of four large men and the waitress rudely asked us to move to a table meant for kids. I asked her if she was kidding and then asked if she was expecting a large crowd? We left and can't say I'll be back. The place was dead and there was no need to treat us like that. The gravy is real breakfast gravy and so much better than you think it's going to be in the Florida keys (no offense). The most quintessential Florida Keys breakfast place! The staff was super friendly. I came in a group of 5 and while they looked packed, they were actually able to seat us right away! I got the Crab cake Benedict which tasted great. The crab to egg ratio was generous and not a lot of non-crab filler either! My family and I were looking for a real breakfast place on our drive down through the keys. We happily stumbled upon the Galley Grill after leaving Marathon. My wife and daughter both enjoyed short stacks of buttermilk pancakes, which were thick and fluffy. I thoroughly enjoyed the Hawaiian omelette which, like the pizza, had ham, pineapple, and the Swiss cheese was a nice counter to the sweetness of the pineapple. We also enjoyed the grits which were white corn and super creamy. The staff was super nice and friendly. My partner and I stopped here for lunch on our way to Key West and we both agreed it was the best we had on our visit to Fort Lauderdale, Keys and down to Key West. I had the Cobb Salad and all of it was so fresh and carefully prepared, the grilled chicken on it was so good and flavorful I ate all of it. Which says something since I don't eat a lot of meat. My partner said his chicken sandwich was also very good. Service was great, very friendly and attentive. We walked in about 30 minutes til closing and were welcomed with a smile, didn't feel rushed at all. We stopped in for breakfast on our return to Islamorada. My yogurt parfait was a very generous serving and filled plenty of fresh berries and homemade granola. My partner didn't 'love' his omelet nearly as much as his lunch the day before but still we had a another good meal here. If I lived nearby I'd certainly be a regular. read more

My partner and I stopped here on our way to key west for brunch. We were super hungry from a 4 hour drive. It's a small building off the highway. Theres a huge colorful bench on the outside. There's an outdoor dinning area that's where you can sit and feel the cool breeze. Your greeted by an excellent staff whose service can match any 4/5 star restaurant/hotel. Our server was really friendly. We order the crab cake Benedict and a " BB Three" that included cranberry walnut pancakes (3) , eggs any style you prefer and sausages (pork or turkey). I got the turkey and it was absolutely amazing. It wasn't dry like most previous frozen breakfast turkey meat. I can tell it was made Inhouse. The crab cake egg Benedict was cooked to perfection. My partner doesn't like runny eggs so a request was made for them To be jelly like (medium) and it was delicious. He stated that with a Poached egg if it's too runny it takes away from the cheese sauce , so having it cooked to perfection the first time was amazing to him. The crab cake itself was soft and well seasoned , lots of fresh herbs . We thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had mimosas that were only $6.50. I'd recommend to definitely stop by Gallery Grill for Brunch when your in the Florida Keys . Key West on Route 1 there are lots of places to eat. So you know a place is going to be good when it's packed people. This is sort of a breakfast lunch place and now I'm a Friday morning it was Pac guessing you would still with locals and tourists. I had eggs Benny for breakfast and it wasn't the best ever but it was pretty good but I would go back. And I'd have it again. Another in our party had three eggs with a really good-looking sausage very thick round don't see it much like that. Coffee with excellent I had a shot of expresso with whipped cream. Our waitress was super sweet attended to us promptly and nicely we had ordered pancakes and once we all took about 3 bites we knew something was off, our pancakes had a very chemical taste and we're not very good we debated telling our server and did not expect any money taken off of our bill just wanted to tell her as a statement and warning that maybe something was wrong with the batter and etc. Once we told our server she was extremely rude and said "well i've sold around 500 pancakes and never heard a complaint" "nobody has complained about their pancakes today but you" and other comments overall was not expecting this kind of reaction me and my group were pretty disappointed read more
