However, when you know a major dmv social group (dmvdoes ) is hosting an event of 40+ people why is only 1 staff member working the whole night.? Our event experience (paid ) came with a glass of wine for all our guests. The wine was just put on a table without any explanation of the wine , grapes, or legacy. I brought several things for a raffle including the mayor bottle of wine , 2 tastings, and a wine flight for myself. There was no education or discussion about wine. Next, I ordered food and drinks before our event started and I didn't get my food until an hour after I arrived. Next , the suya was so tough I almost choked on a piece of it. The rice was decent but not a winner for me. Lastly, parking is limited to street parking or an outdoor parking lot up the street. It's a cute place to have a social event or a laid back wine meetup but definitely need more staff, wine education for visitors, and better food options.

It's kind of located in the cut of main st but there's plenty of street parking. Walk in and you'll see there are two settings. It's very welcoming and warm with beautiful decor and many seating on both sides. I explained to the gentleman what I wanted and he said it shouldn't be no problem just reach out to the events manager. It was a bit last minute, I sent an email on 9/22 to come on 9/28 at 5:30pm (had to confirm the number of people). Just to clarify, we spoke on the phone and email for communication of all information. I noticed they had an event that same day but it started earlier in the day and the events manager told me it should end before my guests arrive. I told her I was having 20 people total and I was ordering two charcuterie boards. Everything was confirmed and good to go as I thought. My guests were letting me know they were arriving but were seated in the smaller area. I was hoping by the time I got there it would be handled but no they already started ordering in the smaller area and the staff there said they were told only 10 people were suppose to come but I showed them the emails. The event they had ran longer than it should have which I wish I would have known just to let my guests know. The staff then tried to fix it but literally a whole hour and half later. Once we got in the event room, we had our charcuterie boards and others order their suya and jollof rice. They did not finish their food, it actually looked dry. Before the day, I was told my guests were not able to do flights but the day of they were able to order. I wanted to order some for the party but it's okay, we all figured out which wine we liked best and a couple bought bottles. To end it, the staff brought out a cute cupcake for my friends to wish me happy birthday. They have a speaker for you to connect if you want to play your own music. Other than that, we had fun. Regardless, I'm going to have fun. I recommend to go and have your own experience. I will definitely come back for a last minute date or just to pick up one of the wine bottles I liked.

For my first course I opted for the ceasar salad, something told me to get that yellow tomato gazpacho. Two of my friends had gotten it and they said it was phenomenal. The birthday girl got the Bouillabaisse with the Chilean sea bass. She said that was absolutely delicious. The Chilean sea bass was cooked nicely and had a buttery taste. And for dessert we did the orange tres leche cake and the chocolate mousse. Both desserts were really good. The tres leche cake was really good and if you mix it with the chocolate mousse even better. This place offers so many options for dinner, from their weekly specials, where you get 50 percent off any bottle of wine on Mondays, bubbles and boards on Wednesdays, Thursdays they have a nice to go special, where you can pizza and a nice bottle of wine to go. The manager Claudia came to the rescue like the dark knight but with more grace. She mentioned she was willing to put us on the list for a table in the main dining area. I accepted her kind gesture and continued to wait for bar lounge seating to open up. A couple was kind enough to come over to us and ask if we were waiting for bar lounge seating. They offered their table to us as they were ending their night. There was a 2 man band playing in the lounge area that was very soothing to the ear. As I tried to help my mother get comfortable at the hightop table, I noticed she was having a difficult time getting seated in such a high chair. Guess who came to the rescue, you guessed, Claudia! We learned that the amount with an entrée is just right - about two handfuls - so we each had some, with my friend's being a substitution for fries. I almost can't find the words to describe those tacos! The fish was moist, perfectly seasoned and generously heaped in each taco. Often, tacos lean heavily on the veg elements but these had just the right amount of slaw. The flavor of the fish was so delicate and savory. Honestly, one taco was all I could manage. Although they were street taco sized, it was so filling. I only ate a handful of chips; they were good but nothing special, as was the tiny cup of salsa. My friend said his veggie burger was excellent, and he enjoyed the bit of chips and salsa as well. He just had water, while I tried a Corona NA. The bill was around $56, which is very reasonable. There's plenty of free parking in the shopping center. Great service, good prices, excellent food - I'll go back!

Lots of windows and light and bright. At the least it is an awesome place for a happy hour with some good deals that are well advertised. The food to me is just ok. It's often a red flag to me when the bread basket is your favorite thing about the restaurant and this is that. The muffins they give out to every table are diabolical. I could swim in those things. When it comes to what I ordered, the cucumber cups were ok, and the fish I got was well cooked and what I ordered, but there was nothing fun about it. Long story short, I don't jump to go back, but if someone suggests it, I'm not upset. I'll just make sure to order something different and take the whole muffin basket for myself.
