My friend and I arrived around 5:00 PM when the restaurant was completely empty. We asked if we could sit at a table toward the back--a table my friend had enjoyed during previous visits--but were told very firmly that it was reserved and absolutely unavailable. We respected that decision. What was frustrating was watching that same table remain empty for the next five hours. Around 10:00 PM, it was finally occupied by just two people, despite the restaurant having plenty of other available seating throughout the evening. The most disappointing part happened around 11:00 PM. Our waitress came over and began telling us that there was a line outside and people were waiting to be seated. She then raised her voice at us, even though we had been actively ordering the entire night. We had purchased multiple meals and bottles, had just ordered another bottle, and hadn't even finished our food or drinks. We weren't simply occupying a table without spending money--we were paying customers enjoying dinner and catching up. What made the situation even more confusing was that there were numerous empty tables throughout the restaurant. I even recorded a video of the dining room because I couldn't believe we were being pressured to leave while so many tables sat vacant. I only wish I had recorded the interaction with the waitress, because I was genuinely shocked by how she spoke to us. I've dined at many restaurants, and this is the first time I've ever had a server yell at me. We were respectful, caused no disruption, and simply wanted to enjoy our evening. No customer should been spoken to in that manner. There was also no line or anyone waiting. Unfortunately, because of the poor service and unprofessional treatment, I can't recommend this restaurant.

The menu has very detailed, almost elevated descriptions that make everything sound spectacular, but in practice the flavors don't quite come through, especially the sauces, which are barely noticeable. Our server was flexible when we asked to swap the potato chips for fries on the kids' grilled cheese meal, which we appreciated. However, we were then charged $1.40 for a side of ranch for the fries. I understand they have a range of specialty sauces and dips that are clearly priced on the menu, but that still felt steep for ranch. They also offer a combo option to add fries for $5, but the portion doesn't really feel aligned with the price. The steak sandwich itself was surprisingly tender, even though it looked like it might be tough. That said, I couldn't taste the roasted red pepper sauce, and the "sweet onion jam" turned out to just be caramelized onions. My mother actually ended up picking them out because she doesn't eat onions. (she won't eat onions that she can see) The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, but could have been crispier. The "serves two" description also felt a bit generous given the small portion. I also ordered a brisket sandwich to go with fries. The coleslaw sounded great on the menu, but in reality the flavors didn't stand out, no real hint of jalapeño, just a fairly standard slaw. Overall, the food descriptions felt more impressive than the actual execution, though the to-go fries portion was more generous, which was a nice surprise. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Maybe for a casual visit with a few beers and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces...I am a sucker for those.

The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside while staying juicy and tender inside. The soy garlic flavor was perfectly balanced not overly sweet or salty and every piece tasted fresh. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean with a relaxed atmosphere that's great for both casual dinners and hanging out with friends. The portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh. If you're craving authentic Korean fried chicken with great flavor and texture, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.

We were asked by at least 5 servers if we were ready to order. Our 1st time here since it was formerly a Pizzeria Uno's. Our expectations were neutral. With all the DWI checkpoints expected, we had diet Cokes (no alcohol tonight) the bulgogi cheese fries, a large kimchi and the large drums and wings combo. Bulgogi cheese fries were crispy, crunchy and surprisingly good, not greasy. Large kimchi was served in a papercup, minced very finely, but ok, no complaints. Wing and large drums with the non-spicy garlic soy sauce were crispy, fresh, perfectly fried and juicy. Also not greasy, with a good crunch. Only bump here was the 85-ish degree interior temperature, HVAC woefully inadequate and supplemented with a single large standing fan for an approx 5,000 square foot space. Heat made the bare wooden picnic table tops very tacky and marginalized the eating experience. Also beware of the parking lot attendant whose abruptly confrontational demeanor may be alarming if you're not a native NY-er, otherwise just another rich cartoon character. Surprisingly satisfying chicken. Stick to the marquee fried korean style chicken and you'll be pleased. Just under $100 all-in for 2 people, no alcohol.
