We were asked by at least 5 servers if we were ready to order. Our 1st time here since it was formerly a Pizzeria Uno's. Our expectations were neutral. With all the DWI checkpoints expected, we had diet Cokes (no alcohol tonight) the bulgogi cheese fries, a large kimchi and the large drums and wings combo. Bulgogi cheese fries were crispy, crunchy and surprisingly good, not greasy. Large kimchi was served in a papercup, minced very finely, but ok, no complaints. Wing and large drums with the non-spicy garlic soy sauce were crispy, fresh, perfectly fried and juicy. Also not greasy, with a good crunch. Only bump here was the 85-ish degree interior temperature, HVAC woefully inadequate and supplemented with a single large standing fan for an approx 5,000 square foot space. Heat made the bare wooden picnic table tops very tacky and marginalized the eating experience. Also beware of the parking lot attendant whose abruptly confrontational demeanor may be alarming if you're not a native NY-er, otherwise just another rich cartoon character. Surprisingly satisfying chicken. Stick to the marquee fried korean style chicken and you'll be pleased. Just under $100 all-in for 2 people, no alcohol.
