Nice place! I had stopped in a while back, but my son and his friend wanted to play the typical games like at dave and busters so we went there. This time, i was there for my sister's birthday, and we had a blast. This place specializes in the nostalgic games of the 80's and 90's. So pinball machines and classic arcade games. The bar had an awesome selection of cocktails like butter beer and margaritas, as well as a few soju inspired drinks. The staff was great and friendly. I ordered the "cactus juice" drink and tried some of the nachos my sister ordered. They were good in spite of the cheese sauce. I like shredded cheese only. To play the games, it is cash only, as in you need to put dollar bills into the token machine. You can tap/ use cards at the bar for food and drinks.

Having only been to the Annapolis location, I have to say I am a much bigger fan of this one. But before we talk about GameOn itself, we have to talk about the parking in the lot across the street. It's a mad house over there -- I felt like I was back at Eden Center with all that chaos! I had to park really far away... just be advised of that when in that area of Columbia. So, GameOn... even before stepping inside, I could hear the music and the excitement because they have the bar setup where there's both outdoor and indoor bar seating. I love that! And then I went inside and my buddy who was celebrating his birthday had reserved the table section. It's on the opposite side of the bar, and we were able to order as we liked. It looks like its the case across all the locations, but I remember how small their food menu was about 2 years ago. It's definitely expanded since then. We had wings and pizza at the table that were all fantastic. The cocktail menu may have expanded slightly, but there was already a lot. And they have that infamous shots wheel to spin. From the ingredients, the cocktails do lean on the sweeter side, but it kinda fits the theme, you know? I found the Columbia location to have a much more open feel, and I like that there are two bars. There is a second floor mainly for seating that's cool. The bathrooms were lit with blacklights, and seriously the wall artist / designer is fantastic. This is an easy bar to recommend to anyone, especially gamers. I'll be returning -- especially to try some of the games that were unfortunately broken down (looking at you, DDR)!

GameOn Bar+Arcade is definitely the place to be if you just want to hang out with your friends and have a good time playing old school arcades and pinball. I think the big appeal is that the games are really cheap and you have the option of using tokens to pay for your games. Kind of like a throw back when we were kids where we would go to Chuck E Cheese or Time Out in malls when those were big. The nostalgia is real going here. I didn't really order the food here, but I did get drinks. I'd say that the place is busier at the bar section and it does take a bit for you to get your drinks but they do make it fast once they reach to you. The arcade of course is the main highlight. I'm personally a big fan of Dance Dance Revolution, and they had it here. It's not what I remembered but it'll get the job done. They also have fighting games like Street Fighter 2 or Tekken if you're into that. And the pinballs... There was a Godzilla pinball and a Metallica Pinball that was hard to pass up on, those were so cool to play. What else can I say about this place? I think it's popular on weekend nights and I'll say that it's better if you go on weekdays when it's not so packed !

Met up with a group of friends here during the holidays. Cool spots with arcade games, music, drinks and food. Plenty of free nearby parking. They have fun themed drinks and shots at a reasonable price. Tried the sonic blueberry mule which was pretty good. The bartenders were attentive. Bring cash as it needed to get tickets for the games. They also have a small selection of board games to play.

Came here to try it out. There were many people in this space. Not a lot of places to sit inside but a good amount of space outside. I had a cider that was mango and peach but I expected apple. Guess I should have read. I didn't enjoy that beer. And I thought it was rather expensive. The drink menu was very fun I must admit. So maybe I'll come back to try out a few more drinks. The general vibe was cool. Games were about 1$ per play. The bartenders seemed to not be very engaged but it was so many people who could not even here yourself think. I'm gonna try again to see if I really like it.

This place is so cute and full of so many memory games from when I was a kid! We came in to get a drink while waiting for a reservation at a nearby restaurant. We had never been so didn't know what to expect, but in looking around they had so many games! To include my old past time fave PacMan. We will definitely be back to try out the gaming, but it was nice grabbing and drink and watching a part of the Ravens game at the bar.

GameOn is such a cute and nostalgic spot--perfect for a date or just a fun hangout with friends. From skeeball and pinball machines to a basketball hoop race, the place is filled with games that instantly transported me back to my childhood. It's the kind of place that reminds you how fun simple, old-school games can be. Each game costs about a dollar, which feels like a steal these days for something this entertaining. There's also a bar on site, so you can sip a drink while playing, which adds a fun adult twist to the arcade vibe. The decor is awesome too--playful and colorful, with neon-lit bathrooms that are actually a highlight (yes, really!). If you're looking for a laid-back, feel-good activity that doesn't break the bank, GameOn is absolutely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back.

My favorite bar in Columbia hands down! What can I say besides I'm obsessed with game on! It gives a whole new meaning to hanging out with friends or whoever while enjoying drinks and games! The bar tenders are also very personable and chill and are gamers too! It's a whole vibe out here! The food is so freaking good! The fried pickles and burger is my to go to! I feel like the cocktails are a little over priced but they're hand crafted and I can't get enough of that delicious butterbeer! Yum! Or the sonic slush with Malibu and vodka! I come here often and I feel valued as a customer. So this place gets a 5/5 without questioning! Check out their fed hill location, it's like a club in there!

2.28.25 Had a fun time playing the arcade basketball. I beat three of my husband's relatives. This bar/arcade is located in the Merriweather District. It's alongside Banditos and Clove and Cardamom. They have a bar and refreshments. I didn't look at the menu, but I believe my hubby's relatives ordered wings. This venue is not as big as Dave and Buster's, but it has a nice vibe and they play great music. A very fun atmosphere.

if it wasn't for this review, I would've never known there was Pinball at this arcade. Many arcades DO NOT have Pinball.

stranger Things part one Initial gameplay Skill shot: Aim for the roving light when it lands on the second drop target from the right. Hitting it can lead to the left scoop for a large point bonus (MXV). Start modes: Hit any of the four main shots (left orbit, left ramp, right ramp, right orbit) three times to start a mode. Light ball locks: During a ball save, shoot the two "light lock" targets to the side of the left ramp. This allows you to lock balls via the left ramp to start multiball. Start multiball: Lock three balls to start Telekinesis Multiball. After collecting five jackpots, the left eject shot will light for a super jackpot.

Such a Vibe!!!!! I stumbled upon this bar/restaurant/game spot after visiting Merriweather Pavilion which is across the street. I'm so glad I did! It turned out to be such a great experience, and I had an amazingly fun time. The two bartenders, both named Sydney, were fantastic--super welcoming, fun, and attentive. They took the time to listen to my order, checked on me often, and made absolutely delicious drinks. Not only were the drinks great, but the food exceeded my expectations. I ordered a large pizza, which even came with free game tokens (a fun bonus), and the chicken wings were incredible--some of the best I've had in the area! I have to mention there $5 shot wheel (see pics). That was super exchange a fun addition to the spot. The highlight of the night was the old-school arcade games. There's a bunch of them, and they made for such a fun and nostalgic experience. This place really has it all--great drinks, great food, great music, and a great vibe. I'll definitely be coming back a few times a month to hang out with friends, play games, and enjoy some drinks. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area--you won't be disappointed!

How fun! I love a good pinball place. Visiting my folks from out of town I had planned to meet friends for dinner nearby and on a whim looked up on the trusty Pinball Map app if there was anything close by. Imagine my delight to see this spot pop up sharing the same parking lot! Whoever said remove half the pinball machines in their review is bonkers - if anything please add more! All of the machines were very well taken care of which can be tough with these machines, but no sticky flippers here. I loved the mix of new ones with some classics - Monster Bash is my fave of all time so I was one happy customer. I appreciated all of the other old school arcade games available as well. There's also a great drink selection - good mix of beers on tap and in cans. The bartenders were very cool, especially appreciated Sher and Sam. I went on a Saturday evening and before 5pm it was pretty busy with families with children but that cleared out and by 6 it was a very low key vibe. I went to get dinner and ended up coming back after 9pm and it was a totally different atmosphere - very club vibe. I like it - something for everyone depending on when you go. 2 things. First I'm never a huge fan of tokens, I would rather use quarters instead of being pigeon holed into an establishment's tokens. Especially because I usually have a stash of quarters to bring with me. Second, I wish there were a couple more vegan options for snacks on the menu (other than French fries). I'm sure people don't necessarily go here for the food and maybe the menu in general is still being built up. All in all though this place was great and will definitely be back. read more

So i revisited this place because I am a sucker for 90s nostalgia. Love the arcade feel! Also, i wanted to check back on the service and try the chili dog I saw on the menu the last time I was here. Let's start with this disclaimer- it was some sort of mixer?? A singles mixer, i think so my hopes weren't too high. I was extremely impressed. Young female bartender in a pink jumpsuit. Amazing service, top notch 5/5. The mega man mule - crazy delicious, everything merged just right- highly recommend 5/5 Chili Dog - i had nacho cheese, chili, pickled red onions and bacon. The hot dog is top tier - super high quality 1/4 pound (maybe 1/3) - juicy. Bread - Brioche - buttery and soft. The chili was not good - wouldn't get that again. Red onions weren't pickled and that was disappointing. 3/5 French Fries - what is there to say about French fries, right? Friend fries are french fries...but these were seasoned on Gawd Status and were piping hot. Listen to me when I say, I'm not a fry person but i would come out of my way for the fries. 10/5 read more

Game On was such a fun time!!! I found this place on social media and thought it would be a great thing to do in celebration of someone special! We love to play games and have fun so...why not! First things first, parking can be crazy on the weekends! So pack your patience and wear your walking shoes! I came in on a Friday night and was immediately excited upon entry! There's a full bar with food and games galore!!! I ordered nachos and chicken wings...bar food! However this were good! You order at the bar and pick up from the window in the back! There are two bars in this location; front and back! There were waves of people coming in to play games after work! There was skew ball, pool, basketball shoot out and endless video games! This was such a vibe! We had so much fun! I have plenty of game coins so I will be going back! Also, bring cash for games or you can use the atm inside!! read more

I grew up on all the video games that are in GameOn. And they all reminded me of that time. Broken joysticks. Overpriced games and very little elbow room. I didn't taste any food so I can't comment on that but I couldn't get a Bloody Mary which surprised me since I don't consider that a huge lift to stock for if you're going to have a big bar. So I went to the go to drink of double makers neat (only on the rocks if they have the proper ice cube ). That cost me $30 with a tip. Not saying just saying So if you are really craving for a throwback feeling of the pac-man or Ms pacman or the latest pinball machines you might get some joy out of GO. Otherwise don't risk the time to play the games because many of them are time warped from the 80s with unresponsive joysticks and all. The ambiance is great! Customers were so friendly and respectful when playing games and tons of open games to play. Never needed to wait for a game longer than 5 mins. Bartenders were super nice, and they have video game based shots and drinks! Super neat! Walls are covered in graffiti of all different video game characters and things! I visited GameOn with my brother and sister on the way to a Kygo concert last summer. Incredible atmosphere, retro arcade games, great music and super friendly staff... Not to mention delicious cocktails! I got the Grimace and it was to die for. Favorite drink I've ever had. When the staff saw us drawing up a sign with a happy birthday message for Kygo, they gave us free Jell-O shots to celebrate. 10/10 I will be going back!! read more

Game On is a unique bar for sure! As soon as you walk in you are immediately transferred into what feels like an old school 80's/90's arcade with plenty of pinball machines, fighting games, and EVEN A DDR MACHINE! All the games are about $1 each which isn't too bad. You have to get cash and exchange it for tokens so be prepared. The artwork all around the walls was perfect and really kept you immersed in the theme. Unfortunately, I did not try any food or cocktails so I will have to update later but they did offer some classic bar bites like pizza, wings, etc. read more

They have fun music, amazing Cocktails, good simple food and actually nice friendly bartenders! Already a regular! After visiting the Annapolis and Baltimore locations, I waited with baited breath for the Columbia location, which is 10 minutes from my house. I must say that Casey and Eli (the owners) did NOT disappoint! We came on the Sunday of their opening weekend, and Casey and Eli were not only there, but they took time to talk to us and thank us. The bartenders did an amazing job of making us feel welcome! Shout out to Sydney especially! They have plenty of drink specials for EVERY DAY of the week! read more

Had an excellent experience for my son's birthday party (9-10 year old range with younger siblings) earlier in the afternoon, before the older crowd arrives to have fun. I really enjoyed my visit to GameOn in Columbia. The drinks were well made and the food was very very good! I love the funky hipster ambiance of how they used the spray-paint art on the walls. The mezzanine and indoor/outdoor bar are my two favorite spots in the place and the owners are also really nice and down to earth. read more

This is such a great location for an arcade bar. Casey and Eli are extremely welcoming and accommodating for their guests. The cocktails are unique and reasonably priced. This would be a great spot to check out while you're waiting for your reservations at the restaurants around or to visit afterwards to keep your night continuing. Definitely a spot you should check out while you're in Columbia! I loved playing the arcade games and having someone healthy competition! read more

Locally owned and operated business by Eli and Casey Linthicum who were personally welcoming their guests. My husband and I reserved the upstairs space to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary with friends. Customer service was AMAZING! The location was super busy - but still very quick with service and attentive to everyone's needs. Casey did an amazing job keeping constant communication with me, answering questions beforehand. The games were so fun! We're 90's kids so it was amazing reliving our childhood. Thank you again Casey! Our anniversary celebration was amazing! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! I threw a surprise milestone birthday for my husband here and it was absolutely perfect. Casey was incredibly thorough and helpful in planning the event from the seating to the menu. He was very accomodating of my requests and was available and responsive to all my questions. Robert was the manager the night of the party and he was incredibly attentive to the party's needs and made sure everything was seamless. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Very cool spot but there's a few things you should know before you go. The service is pretty bad. The bartenders are rude and will ignore you unless you're practically waving your card in their face. It also takes away from the atmosphere when you see servers that look like they would rather be anywhere else on the planet than helping you. I understand that being a server gets exhausting but atleast put in some semblance of effort. Another thing to note is in regards to the menu, specifically the drinks. Most drinks were over priced and the selection was rather lackluster. My friend got a $12 cocktail that tasted like it was more mixer of that overly sweet mixer than alcohol. Also, for a $5 can of beer atleast give me a PBR or a Natural light please. I've never met anyone who would casually enjoys drinking natty boh. Despite everything, I still plan to return some day the atmosphere is very cool and I enjoyed playing all the games. I would love to make this a regular spot for me some day. read more

The arena is the right level of dark with fog machines running too. There are several platforms with various access ramps. My favorite details is that a few platforms have a grate where players can shoot down at others below (watch out, they can shoot up at you too!). There are always rapid fire and mega power Gems for upgrades and a third that rotates by game (invisibility, invulnerability, dark thief), so definitely sign up for 3 games if you can to experience the full rotation. The prices are reasonable, especially in today's economy. There is a water cooler to refresh yourself between games, because you will work up a sweat between the crouching and quick moving around while wearing a phaser pack. It's our favorite workout, to be honest. There is an arcade with a variety of games, including prize games, driving games, and shooting games. The main area also has concessions to snack on. Overall, if you want some workout and fun, check out Shadowland.

If you have say 4 people on a team, then people are awkwardly standing on ledges while other players are trying to putt, meanwhile you have other teams on other holes that directly butt up to the hole you're on. And remember, this was a private event. Imagine when it's open to the public, you might be dealing with a crowded scenario. As for the course itself, it's glow in the dark, which is kind of cool, but given the limited space constraints, the course is kind of subpar compared with almost any outdoor course in central Maryland. And the price is about the same as an outdoor course; I'd prefer an outdoor course and waiting until weather warms up to do that. They also have some Arcade games, which we got a $5 credit for each employee. That was fun. I played some air hockey & other random games. Overall, I appreciated what my company was doing, had some fun, but with the pros & cons of Monster Mini Golf, I feel a 3-star review is warranted.

When I asked a staff member if the lights could be turned on, she explained that the owner prefers to keep them off. I hope they reconsider, as better lighting would make the arcade much more enjoyable. There are single-occupancy restrooms near the arcade that were much less busy than those by the main dining area. Since our last visit, we also learned that the former liquor store next door has been converted into an overflow dining room when the main restaurant is busy, and it's also used for private events. Despite the wait, Angie, our server, was excellent. She was personable, attentive, and even happy to take a group photo for us. The food was great. I especially enjoyed the Old Bay wings, rockfish tenders, soft shell crab sandwich, and waffle fries. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal, and we look forward to returning.

There is a small indoor portion in the church, where there are various vendors mostly selling women's jewelry. That is about 80% of the vendors at least when I visited in 2025. There was a stand selling great olive oil and olives (both of which I purchase) and a stand selling the delicious Greek desserts I basically ate every day while I lived in Astoria, Queens (one of the largest Greek communities in the US). The ladies at the bakery were so friendly, even offering my son a cookie for free (and of course he takes the entire box!). Outside, there is another bakery (with about 4 times the size of the line), and other food stalls. We got a lamb gyro with tzatziki and it was out of this world. There is a tent with music, where some people were dancing and an occasional singer or band would rotate in and out. Also in the tent was a drink vendor where my partner and I enjoyed a glass of white wine on a very hot day. The kids were drawn to the bouncy houses, which included some traditional ones and a blow up slide. It cost $10 per child for use all day. They certainly got their money's worth! There was a sign for face painting and pony rides but I did not see either and the ladies working the desk didn't know when or if they'd actually show up. Overall, a very relaxing spot. Don't expect a huge festival but a relaxed afternoon out or evening. There is also a lovely flower vendor that is a nice place to wander or buy flowers for the spring.

On December 28th, my family and I were at this arcade celebrating my mom's birthday. Unfortunately, our experience was completely ruined by a highly intoxicated white male who entered the establishment and began harassing my family. He initially approached my mom and boyfriend, making inappropriate comments. Despite our attempts to ignore him and continue our celebration, he escalated by sitting at our table and making lewd gestures toward my mom. When my boyfriend kindly asked him to leave, he refused and continued taunting us, even tapping my boyfriend on the shoulder repeatedly in a confrontational manner. Things escalated further when my mom's husband intervened, asking the man to leave us alone. The man then walked over to my mom and grabbed her arm, prompting her to push him away. At this point, everyone in our group was understandably upset and loudly demanded that he leave. The most shocking part of this ordeal was the complete inaction of the staff. Despite this man's visibly intoxicated state and disruptive behavior, the bartender continued serving him drinks. Security failed to intervene, never even checking him for weapons, and no staff members made any meaningful effort to protect us or other patrons. It was only after we insisted that the bartender finally asked him to leave. Even after being kicked out, the man and his group lingered in the parking lot, hiding behind cars with their hoodies up, waiting for us to leave. It was an incredibly frightening and dangerous situation, and we were lucky to leave safely. This establishment showed a gross disregard for customer safety. From allowing an obviously intoxicated individual to remain on the premises, to failing to intervene during an escalating situation, the staff demonstrated incompetence and neglect. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to bring attention to this appalling lack of accountability. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to steer clear. It's not worth risking your safety! read more

Cool Vibe and Great Art, But Service Needs Improvement The atmosphere at this place is super fun -- the murals and artwork on the walls are amazing and give off a great nostalgic vibe. It's definitely a cool spot to hang out and take in the creative décor. That said, the space itself wasn't very clean, and the service at the bar was frustrating. There was only one bartender working during a busy afternoon, and it took forever just to get a drink. For a place with so much potential, that really brought the experience down. Overall, I'd give it a 50/50. Fun and visually awesome, but they need to step up the service and cleanliness to make it truly enjoyable. read more

The atmosphere was really nice, and Sydney the bartender was excellent - her energy really added to the experience. However, the drinks were a bit weak. If you're looking to get more than just a minor buzz, you might as well buy shots. On the bright side, the food was good. It would be great if they also sold burgers. Despite the weak drinks, it's still a nice place to unwind after work with friends. read more

Could not get in , no place to park anywhere near there. Apparently Merriweather Post goers are allowed to take up all the parking! Doesn't seem fair to those businesses. Not knocking the business, just trying to draw attention to the parking issue read more
