Came in here, bought a switch 2, 12 month membership, and Pokopia. We get home, we see their receipt printer machine did not print the code well at all. Tried all sorts of different combinations, tried calling back to get help, couldn't help besides contact support or come back in and "I can try to read it." Contacted support, pretty much said can't help get help from Nintendo but it was the error of GameStop's printer. Out of $70 now for the game, contact me if you would like to come to a solution. I'm not a big gamer so when I walk in here I'm always looking for used video games for the kids just to spark up something new. If you're like me, just ask the staff... these guys truly do know all of the different types of video games whether it's with the Nintendo Wii, PS3, PlayStation 2 Xbox & more. They not only know the systems but know the games and versions that are worth buying and others worth ignoring! Had a game placed on hold as it was not available in the previous location I was at. Showed up & these guys had it with my name ready for me to go it literally took me a minute or two to get in and out. The location of the store sits in the corner with a lot of traffic so be careful. Just had to write a review as a shoutout. I'm so sorry if I butcher your name but I got help from a gentleman named Amad. I ordered something online but never received the email to confirm the order. I called the store to check in and see if it ever got received and it did not. Amad thought it was strange but explained what to do to get it fixed. I ended up just going to the store in the mean time and making the purchase because I didn't want my item to run out. He was pretty helpful explaining things and what would happen if my order would show up later. Not thrilled with GameStop but was thrilled with Amad. Not only that but the following day, the order did go through and appeared. Before the store even opened, he went out of his way to call me and ask to cancel my order to make sure I'd get my money back ASAP. Now that is some "extra mile" level support. I don't really know of any other game stores that can compare with GameStop...they have pretty much everything I could ever want. Even when I don't know that I want it. This particular location has really friendly, really helpful team members who are always eager and wiling to talk about any game in the store. Many of them have personal experience with most of the games, systems, and extra products, so while they provide their opinion, they are also pretty good at remaining objective when giving an overview. Being a ProMember saves me sooo much money (I'm almost embarrassed at how often I frequent this place. Almost), and allows me to trade in games for quite a bit more than if I weren't a member, while also allowing me to collect points I can use in their online store to purchase special items not in-store. I love that they have such a huge selection of used games as well as all of the newest releases. They are very up-front about what new titles are being released when, and take a simple $5 pre-order to hold onto a copy of anything that might be coming out (which then gets put towards the purchase of that game, so you're not losing money holding it). Overall, this is a store I don't ever feel bad about spending too much time in when I'm looking for something to spend more time on. read more

i was there buying a game (i only buy new releases at gamestop i hate supporting this company) a guy in front of me was selling his limited edition switch (basically new) and a game. the switch goes for about 250 alone and he sold it to gamestop for $75 for everything. it sickens me that people take the money thinking they cant sell it anywhere else. thats not even 50% value. barely 30%. and i know they'll be selling it for more than the brand new value. stop supporting this company if you can! sell your items on offer up or facebook anywhere!! i told him i would have given him at least $100-150 $75 for both items is jusg disrespect ‍ read more

A lot of people are Gamestop haters. Not really sure why? I have always had a great experience with Gamestop. And if I do have a problem, they are more than willing to work with me. And the dumb competitor commercials showing them pushing stuff on you, like DLC's and Game Protection. They don't push anything on you. They do ask though, which I find nice, because they may have something available I didn't even know about it. This location is great. The staff is always nice and super helpful. They let me get in and out with no problems. If I want a little video game conversation, they are more than happy to discuss games with me and give recommendations. The Pro Rewards membership is definitely worth it. 15 bucks a year and you get 10% off all used merchandise, plus 10% extra on anything you sell to them. You also get the 12 month subscription to Game Informer magazine. That is huge to me. I'm always excited to get my magazine. And you get rewards points for anything you buy or sell. I've traded in points for a cool Gears of War shirt. Been saving up the rest for a couple years now and I have about 40,000 points. One day I'll buy something epic. I hope Gamestop is around for a long time. Brick and mortar stores are being killed off every day. I understand why, it's just a little sad. It is very nice to be able to actually go into a store, feel welcome, and stare at a wall for an hour, before deciding what you want to walk out with. read more

I walked into this game stop expecting service like always but this time it was new workers. One was a girl who dressed emo and had a nose piercing. Poor thing tried to hard to act knowledgeable about games. She made it feel awkward. I asked simple questions but in the end got the stupidest replies. Game stop is just getting worse with their service and prices. Unfortunately this will be my last visit. Game stop doesn't offer unique choices or service anymore :( read more

Their games and "stuff" are overly priced. Went in a couple days ago to buy a PS4, bought it used because I thought was cheaper then new, turns out that it's more expensive then new. 2 days of having the "used" 4 it started giving me problems, it kept freezing up and wouldn't shut off for awhile. Whoever tests these consoles need to make sure problems like this never happen to anyone and when checking out don't tell people that it's fully refundable within 30 days when it clearly states in "fine" print that you only have 7 days to get a full refund. Good thing it's been 2 days because now I'm oober happy that I'll get my refund to go and buy a "NEW" one from Best Buy and for a cheaper price. read more
