Visited this GameStop since it happened to be on my path when was shopping for those evil video games that we all play under our covers behind closed doors into the weee hours of the morning. It was the big 18 for my son and stopped in to get him a little gift for his PlayStation 4. The staff here are very friendly and even though this little store is tucked away in a Target shopping center it was pretty busy. We had to wait in line and that is fine by me as long as waiting for something better not worse. This place with the customer service was no dissent at all. Even though the store is a little small they still carry all kinds of games for the different game platforms one might need. One other thing great about Game Stop buy the warranty it is good for a year and they will replace your game if it is even been eaten by your dog. On April 3rd, my son spent some of his birthday money to buy two APEX Legends gift cards. We specifically told the associate, John Carlos, that we weren't familiar with the cards and wanted to know if they would work on PlayStation 4. He said yes. My son purchased both cards, $40 cash. We went home and the next day, he tried to use his cards. He kept getting an error code that there wasn't enough digits. I called the store and spoke with an associate who directed me to EA/Origin. He told me they just sell the cards, he could not help me and I would need to contact Origin/EA. I did and they referred me back to the store. Who then referred me back to EA/Origin. After multiple calls to the store to find out what I can do, and multiple conversations with EA (over a month and a half time frame) I was finally told by EA that these are PC Cards, not for PlayStation 4! Game stop then told me that I waited too long past the time frame for store credit or refunds, even though I TRIED to get that assistance, but they kept telling me they couldn't help me. They are refusing to help me at all, even though it was their mistake to sell my child cards that don't work on a PlayStation 4. And their mistake of directing me elsewhere and not helping me in that certain time frame. Train your employees, and treat your customers better. read more

He didn't like something my son said And got extremely mad He walked toward my son in a Threatening manner and taunted him trying to initiate a fight. John-carlos, associate number 604444, you are an absolute filthy scammer. My girlfriend comes into the store to buy me a pre owned version of AC:Valhalla. She makes the purchase and everything is normal. However when she gets back into the car she checks the receipt and sees that you charged her for a warranty. She goes back into the store to ask about it since she didn't ask for the warranty, nor did you ask her if she wanted it, NOR DID YOU EVEN TELL HER YOU WERE CHARGING HER FOR IT. The worst part is that once she goes in and asks you about it, you have the nerve to lie to her and say that warranties are required to be bought when you buy pre owned games. She believes you and goes home and I don't find out about it until she gives me the gift. read more

Horrible service. I purchased a so called charger for my sons xbox s series charger. Not only were they out of stock of the one that I wanted which allowed the batter to get a charge by using a phone charger, but when asked if the associate could look for the item at a different store, she explained that their system wouldn't allow them to. I decided to go with the dual ultra slim char system by pdp gaming. Not only does this thing suck at working it takes two to three hours to charge each battery. My son doesn't use it at all. When I attempted to take the product back in three days after purchase since I had no receipt the manager told me the store associate that sold it to me couldn't give me a refund. Knowing this is their product and she knew she sold it to me in the store. I spent thirty dollars on this item. And what makes me upset is I have been a loyal customer with this franchise for years. I will never and I mean never use their services again. I would have renewed my membership if she would have honestly assisted me in the correct way. Also the manger is awful, he claimed to have looked at the item and immediately told me no about an exchange, I understand that I didn't have my receipt but I wanted an exchange for the product that I originally came in the store for. I am going to contact their corporate headquarters and in hopes that this manager gets retrained and wrote up for being so horrible, unprofessional, and down right rude!
