Wing Night!! Can't go wrong here. Mix up the sauces to your liking. Staff is friendly but they can get quite busy on certain nights. Plus there is an arcade on the other side of the restaurant.

Not sure how I feel about this place. First time we have ever gotten something from here and we've lived here in James Island for 15+ years. It is a sports bar and restaurant and we went in on a Saturday. The greeting staff appeared to be more interested in their phones. The waiter was friendly enough. Wife had the shrimp platter, though it was a pretty good meal all in all. I had a shrimp or two, a piece of broccoli, and both the potato and the potato jacket by itself (real test of a baked potato is the jacket). I thought the shrimp was tasty enough, broccoli and potato were both good. The potato jacket tasted burnt. I had the chicken fried steak. The meal itself was pretty good, the gravy was well seasoned, the mashed potatoes were fine enough, and the great beans were delicious. My only negative was the plate with the razor sharp broken edges, there were five chipped edges on my plate.

Clean sports bar on the way to Folly Beach. I came with friends for Team Trivia night. We had a blast and won 2nd place! I had the Shrimp Po Boy and Chips and my group shared the loaded nachos. I tried their Red Raspberry Italian Ice Sour Ale which had a fruity flavor like a Sour Patch Kid. Skittles was a wonderful and friendly server. Had such a great experience! Absolutely delicious!

Fun spot to grab a bite to eat with lots of televisions to watch sports. I had the beet salad which was a large portion. It was missing that sweet and salty balance that beet salads usually have, but it was ok. The burger was thick and juicy. Almost impossible to hold and eat, but it was very tasty. The prices are great! Would like to try other things next time.

LETS START WITH THE SETTING OF THE PLACE!!! When you walk in the people here are all smiling and laughing. The aura of this place is top tier amazing!!! Next you have the friendliest of waitresses willing to help out with drink options (due to me being pregnant I wanted a mocktail) and she knew exactly what would hit the spot. Next up the FOOD: when I tell you it was so good I couldn't stop eating it. The portions are larger than expected for an average person. I could have settled for half a sandwich and chips. Overall very very pleased!!! 10/10 overall!!

My favorite time to come to Garage 75 is for wing night on Thursday. If you stay long enough, you'll get the chance to participate in trivia as well. The onion rings are quite greasy and weren't a very big portion for the price, but they had good flavor. I've enjoyed all of the wing sauces I've tried and they come out nice and crispy.

Wife was on the hunt for a steak and didn't feel like downtown. What a gem! Started with a cup of Chili, great drinks and fantastic service! Don't sleep on the Espresso Martini either! It's not just for the kids! A great non-pretentious place to grab a bite.

I wanted to love it because the atmosphere is inviting, but the food was only "meh." Prime rib sandwich was very dry Staff is friendly.

My wife and I stopped by while in the area. This place is nice. It's like a sports bar with arcade games. It seamed clean and the staff was very friendly. We started with the fried pickles. They were okay nothing special. I had a cuban, it was very good. My wife had there burger. She loved it. The prices were not bad at all for the area. We would come back.

Stopped in on a Thursday evening around 7:30 pm. Place was packed. Enjoyed the vibe and music was good. Lots of games for the kids, 3 were down. Must use a prepaid card. Very kid friendly on the right hand side of the establishment. Bar was full but was able to get something within just a few minutes. Understand the place is loud but overall good experience

I finally got a weekend off and enjoyed some family time. We were here because I checked them out on Yelp and they had good reviews and good looking food. It is also my experience. The only thing there was a complaint about was the stacked potatoes that my mother-in-law had with her salmon. I'm not big on chicken wings that are bigger than my fist. That's just me but that was my only complaint. You play games for an hour was a lot of fun. TVs everywhere. Super cool waitress. I got my game on the big screen right in front of me. Go braves. People inside seem to be bandwagon Alabama fans so they were going crazy. I simply don't believe there are that many Alabama fans in Charleston. Got to be on the bandwagon. But all food was good I will definitely be back. Super cool environment and food came fast.

They are a burger/oyster bar with a diverse menu that has unique offerings. As far as I know this is the only true oyster bars on the Island. There are plenty of restaurants that serve raw oysters but no with a wide-ranging selection of oysters from various locales. I don't care for raw oysters myself, but I saw a lot being served. We started with cocktails with my wife ordering the "Don't Call It a Skinny" with Tequila, Guava, Lime, Agave, and Lime Salt. They say try it spicy if you are feeling feisty and she was. The drink was light with a wonderful back heat on the end. I enjoyed the Smoked Praline Sour with rye, hazelnut, Montenegro, praline, citrus and bitters with a nice smoke for added flavor. It tasted just like a praline, and I had a tough time getting it back after my wife had a try, We ordered some fried oysters Buffalo style with a ranch sauce for dipping. Being an oyster bar they were very fresh and full of flavor. Our favorite starter was the popular Jam Jar with ricotta cheese and seasonal jam with toasty bread. The jam was tomato and our server gave us a great pro-tip. Empty the bowl it comes in and dump the contents of the jar then swirl the two together then spoon it up on the bread. It was absolutely delicious and can't be missed! We decided to get a couple of burgers which are a mixture of brisket, chuck and short rib. I got the Harlow burger which has American Cheese, Comeback Sauce, Pickles, and Shredded Lettuce. I was pleased that instead of a smash burger which everyone seems to do these days, it was a thick juicy burger. It was so juicy I needed to wipe my hands and mouth after each bite. The comeback sauce was unique and definitely added to the spectacular flavor I was experiencing. Poe's used to be my thick burger go to and they have been dethroned! My wife chose the Southern Roots with Bacon, Pimento, Shredded Lettuce, and Pickled Green Tomatoes. It was obvious that the pimento cheese was homemade and packed with cheesy goodness. The fries were perfect burger fries being neither steak nor shoestring but just perfectly crispy and light, similar but better than McDonalds in every way. Zach, the general manager came over to chat for a bit and offer us a complimentary cocktail to try. The Section 112 was Bourbon, tarragon, preach, bitters, and a streusel foam. They purposely leave out a straw so that you taste that foam with each sip. I couldn't have had a better time. Friendly service that was top notch. Drinks that were creative as well as fulfilling and food that will linger in my collective memories for a long time. You need to make a reservation as they are so popular that walk ins may have a tough time.

Nothing bad, but nothing that stood out either. For example, when my mother-in-law asked if they had Riesling, she responded, "No, our wine is very limited, which makes my job easier." It came off a little odd, but not a huge deal. The food and drinks were very good overall. One issue we had was with the tuna nachos. The menu says "blackened ahi tuna," so we expected it to be seared/rare, which is pretty standard. However, it came out fully cooked. When we mentioned it, the server said it's always prepared that way and not sushi-grade, so they don't serve it rare. That's totally fine--but the menu should definitely be clearer, because it was not what we expected. To her credit, she did offer to comp it if we didn't eat it, but we still ate it--it just wasn't what we had in mind. We also ordered lobster tails--five of us got the same entrée but with different sides. She seemed a bit scattered handling that, but everything did come out correctly, and again, the food itself was very good. The biggest issue came at the end. We asked about a military discount after the bill came out, so the check was adjusted. My uncle had already written in a tip on the original total. After the adjustment, the tip was changed, but it still came out to around 15%, which we felt was fair based on the service. After we left, our server actually chased us down the block asking what she did wrong and why we changed the tip. That was very uncomfortable and honestly unprofessional. It came across as if she thought she wasn't tipped at all, which wasn't the case. Because of that experience, we're adjusting our rating from what would have been 4 stars down to 3. Good food, nice atmosphere--but that final interaction left a bad impression.

Had a slight kick to it (spice wise) but very little evidence of actual seafood in it. After much debate about what to get for a main course (and after seeing what other patrons got at the bar where I sat), I decided to get the Moroccan salad with salmon. Again...it was good...not great. I cook way better salmon at home on a cedar plank over real charcoal, so maybe I'm being unfair here? I dunno. The salad itself was heavy on arugula, which I'm not a huge fan of. Which is odd, because I love the flavor of pepper! Anyway, the menu made it sound like it was more fennel-oriented, so... Ended up capping off the meal with the blackberry key lime pie. It was quite tasty. Not the best key lime pie I've ever had, but good. As to the atmosphere, it's nice. My girlfriend has actually convinced me several times that we shouldn't come here because we weren't dressed well enough. Well, let me just say: I saw several guys here wearing jeans, fishing shirts, and ball caps and they fit right in. So: not stuffy at all! Bottom line, it's a good, not great place to grab a meal. I love that it's off the beaten path (i.e., not close to Folly Road). Will def come back with my girlfriend next time. Might try the swordfish or maybe the meatballs next time.
