My garage torsion spring broke a few days ago and needed it fixed ASAP. As a typical DYI-er, I normally would try and fix things myself but I didn't want to get hurt or use my life insurance if something were to happen attempting to adjust and install torsion springs. Have had an issue with my garage closing with remotes for sometime so decided to bite the bullet and call for repairs. The first company's quote gave me pause since it was high (probably expected though because the opener and springs needed to be replaced).
