Our garage door was broken so we called them out. We told them we could only be home until 4pm and they gave us the window of 2-4pm. We made sure we were home during that time. Well no estimate was provided and they just started the work without any communication. When I heard drilling I asked if they were going to provide an estimate or what? And the workers said, ya, it's almost done, it's $450. No approval, no paperwork, nothing. I was late to my appointment and they said we could leave them locked in the garage, but as we were going to leave they kept having to go through the house to get things from their truck. I didn't want to leave them locked in the hot garage but we really had to leave. The whole situation was so incredibly frustrating. Then the office girl called me to collect payment and made it 100 times worse. I was trying to explain to her that the process was really stressful and she said, "ok so then I'll just have them go back and undo everything they did" .... Are you serious? What kind of customer service is that? What a terrible representation for their business. Had she said, "I understand how that was frustrating. We should have come when we said we were/communicated/provided an estimate/explained what we were even doing/honestly anything? It would have been different.
