Our installer, Danny Alonzo, was fantastic from start to finish. He has excellent communication skills and gave us a clear, realistic expectation of the time to completion. He was incredibly friendly, polite, and professional the entire time -- I honestly wish every contractor or vendor we use could be as good as Danny! We picked a custom color and the door came out exactly the shade we chose. It's solid, heavy, and makes a huge difference compared to our old door. We had bought and pre-painted our own interior moulding, and Danny installed it perfectly with no issues at all. I'm terrible at making clean silicone joints around moulding, but he did an amazing, professional job on them. He even went above and beyond when he noticed some stucco damage around the front door. He pointed it out to us and patched it beautifully -- way better than I could have done myself, lol! The finished door looks absolutely beautiful. I abandoned this project and just opened my garage door manually. Recently, I decided to re-address the situation. This is where ASAP comes into play. The company sent out technician Nathan. Explained the situation above to Nathan and considered just getting a new garage door opener installed. Nathan gave me pricing and options if we went the route of getting a new door opener. He also took a look at the unit and stated that the part I described is actually still being made and available. With that, he also gave me the price if I just wanted the existing opener to be repaired. After weighing out the pros and cons, I decided to have the unit repaired versus getting a new one. Nathan went to work immediately and was extremely professional and explained some of the steps he was performing. After he was finished, he also recommended some maintenance procedures to keep the entire system in tip top shape. One day later, my garage door didn't open correctly. I called back, the guy told me he "fixed" the wrong issue, it's actually the motor which will cost over $900. They would've applied the $250 to it. Don't believe these guys, they don't know what they are doing! I had another guy come and fix the sensor, he charged me $175, the garage door works perfect!
