He programmed our cars and remotes and was friendly honest and professional. All I needed was a logic board replaced. My garage door trapped me at home Monday morning but YELP came to the rescue and pitched in $50 to boot! A discount just for mentioning Yelp. Lovely people on the phone, attentive, friendly and efficient. I first tried another company but couldn't get them to come out until the next day and this at 9AM no less. The repairman was prompt, neat, friendly and seemed to want to save me money and head headaches. A fast worker who explained in detail what was needed and it's cost. I felt like I had a friend in the business. I had a broken spring but also a damaged motor and it all was resolved in less than an hour and a half! One of the cables on my garage door snapped causing the garage to go off the track. Try as I might, the door wasn't going to move. Thankfully neither one of our cars were trapped. Expecting the worst, I looked through the reviews on Yelp and came across Garage Doors 4 Less, LLC. The reviews were great and the company is located close to home. I called the number and left a message. Adrian called me back within 20 minutes and I explained the problem the best I could. He was able to determine the issue in spite of my rant and give me a reasonable quote on the phone. He also asked if my cars were trapped in the event he needed to come over ASAP. Since this wasn't an issue, he scheduled a time to stop by later that day. Adrian showed up as planned and fixed all the issues in a short time. He brought all of the necessary parts and replaced only what was needed. Even though my opener is an older model he didn't try to sell me a new one. Instead he told me it was a great model and should last another 5-10 years in spite of age and appearance. Friday night at 6:00 PM and the garage door opener stops working. What do you do? Hit up yelp and find a reputable company to call. Thanks to Gabi M.'s review I made one call, to Garage Doors 4 Less. Adrian answered the call, even though he was on his way out for the evening with his family. We could get the door open and closed so Saturday was fine. They were booked up like crazy, but still found time to fit me in. At about 5:00 PM on Saturday Brian showed up to install the new opener and by 6:00 PM we were back in business. The price seemed reasonable and with so many hacks in this type of business it was good to find someone trustworthy who did what they said they were going to do. Hats off to Adrian and Brian. Gave me an extremely fair quote for replacing the sensors and the rollers and he even did some extra oiling on the chain and fixing the chain's tension so that I can open it easier manually if I ever have to. I didn't know at the time it would take him LITERALLY ten minutes to repair. Not only that he didn't even need materials. So on my job his hourly rate of pay was $1500/hr. Insane. Adrian did a very good job of finding issues that were overlooked by another company that visited us last year. To be fair the company that we had out last year was hired to come in, re-aim the safety trip-sensors and lube the hinges. Which they did a fine job of. Today, we had Adrian from Gararge Doors 4 Less out to fix the opener, which decided to just stop working over the weekend. We called them yesterday (a Sunday) and we were able to get an appointment for today. Adrian analyzed the problem right away (the opener needed a new logic board - the old one was visibly "burnt"). He also noticed a small crack in the connection point for the opener arm where it attaches to the door. It could cause a big problem down the road if not fixed. So, for a lot less than the cost of a new opener, he finished the repairs and got it all done in about 90 mins. Oh, he also showed up on time, another "score" in my book. Buyer Beware! The broken torsion spring on my garage door was replaced by Adrian's employee. He supposedly checked everything out and lubricated everything. When he finished he showed me that the garage door opened and shut as it should. I was standing inside the garage and it appeared fine so I paid him cash as requested. That same day, when my wife comes home from work, she asks me, "Who put the dent in the garage door?" I go outside and there is the dent, as big as day. It was not visible from the inside because of the insulation and it was not there before they worked on it - (I have been walking by it for 3 days) but the dent was noticed by the first person to walk by it on the outside. The dent was clearly caused by stress from misaligned door panels. Even before he comes by to look at it, Adrian begins telling me on the phone when I called him that his guy didn't do it. (To quote Shakespeare - "Methinks thou do'est protest too much.") His story didn't change even when he did come by the next day to look at it. Either they are grossly incompetent and can't see see a major flaw and clearly a problem OR they are lying about it to avoid replacing a panel or just fixing the dent. Neither liars nor fools will get my business again, and you are now forewarned. To add insult to injury, Adrian says he would try to fix it at no charge even though it is not his fault, BUT he won't guarantee the results and he won't replace the panel. "Eek! Methinks not." Use at your own risk because you will have no recourse once they get your cash. read more

Well, this long overdue, but I just have to disagree with these other reviews. Back in 2014 I spoke to Adrian who was to meet us the following afternoon to install a chamberlain garage door opener at a condo we rent out. He got tied up and Brian arrived in his place. The install seemed to go ok, other that a few incidental charges that weren't mentioned on the original quote (watch that 2% cc charge). We left town and when we returned 9 months later, the opener raised, but wouldn't close the door. I of course called Adrian and advised him of the problem. Sounds like the pavement settled and the eyes aren't in alignment. He said they don't cover that and I should try aligning it myself or they'd be happy to charge us for a service call and send somebody over. Not interested in that and tried adjusting it myself, without success. So, for 3 1/2 years I wrote off my experience and used the door manually. Well, I am spending some time back in the valley and really needed the garage for storage, so I called another company with good reviews to see if they could help right the problem. They showed up promptly, looked at the wiring, and instantly thought I had tried to install it. He was shocked to hear a "professional" company wired things in this fashion, used flat staples to secure the wired, and never sent anyone out to check the problem after only 9 months after the installation. His company stands behind their work with a 5 year guarantee (well worth noting). Well, he rewired the opener, lubed up the mechanism and guess what, worked like new. I don't write many reviews, but after having a professional walk me through the errors from my initial installation, and the failure to resolve my issues, I had to pass this on. read more
