Come here to freshen up your old shoes. They repair and all kinds of leather goods beyond shoes including leather bags, wallets, etc. There is also a table full of wallets repaired and cleaned. Most are $65. So not cheap, but definitely a unique item. They even gave me a complimentary pair of shoe laces.

I asked if they could resole with the Vibram rubber, which was supposedly more durable. I was told they are the same as the Birks rubber. I dont believe that and should have taken that as a red flag already Nonetheless, I was told they could help with the cork rebuild, sole replacement, and cork sealant. Price of $75 (which apparent is the same for sole replacement only). Cork sealant was complimentary which I appreciated. Turn around time in a week I was extremely disappointed when I saw the condition of my shoes upon pick up. This is what I noticed: - Visible large holes between the cork and sole, which he then filled on site. Still it is uneven all around. I shouldn't need to point these out in the first place - Excess pieces of rubber still hanging off. This should be a quite trim to finish it, but instead, looks very sloppy - The cork at the heel doesn't look rebuilt, or at least, not properly. There is a noticible thickness difference between the cork on the left vs right heels - The sealant application looks extremely poor. There are large visible raised build ups and air bubbles. There are large amounts of sealant in accidental spots on the leather. The obvious lack of care is extremely disappointing Not sure how they can be charging this amount of money for this quality of work. The reviews have other happy customers so your mileage may vary

It has been the best sofa ever - absolutely perfect size and has fit in two different homes. Well, it started to lose its comfort and was broken, fabric was worn down, when you sat down you could feel the springs/edges of the frame - but it was like my wubby, I could not stand the thought of scrapping it. I started researching all the options. Reality - there is no sofa on the market with same exact dimensions. So next up, reupholstery it was! I had first reached out to Paul maybe 6 months ago wanting to understand pricing! He asked for some pics, my measurements and offered rough estimate. Amazing, he did that within a day or two of me reaching out. Then I went radio silent - we had another home project that took all the time/funds. Fast forward to April - I reached out one more time and Paul picked up right where we left off. Said come on down to the shop where they have thousands of samples! You get to touch/feel/bring samples home, but my son zeroed in on our winning fabric pretty quickly! And its actually a more durable fabric than we had before. Fast forward to the process itself - Paul comes over to do his own measurements and see the space. This is when I was provided the real real quote as he had the exact measurements. Let's be honest, I missed a thing or two. Paul then came on a Thursday to pick it up, 2 Thursdays later it was back, better than ever! The cushions are now full and oh so comfortable. The base of the sofa has been repaired, reinforced and is ready for another 10 years of wear and tear! I am so beyond grateful for this journey with Paul and his team. I might have spent a bit more money, but not much when you think about other costs - getting rid of a couch, shipping, white glove delivery. So it probably works out to about the same, but there really is no price on a sentimental piece that has so many memories and now has new ones as my son got to be a part of the process! In November 2025, the owner sat in my living room and walked out with a $4,300 deposit check to reupholster a 20-year-old leather couch--an unjustifiable total quote of $8,600. For context, a comparable brand-new couch retails for under $2,000. I canceled the job within one week. Before the couch was ever picked up. Before a single material was ordered. Before one minute of labor was performed. They kept every single penny of my $4,300. I sued them in small claims court (Santa Clara County Case No. 26SC097661--a public record anyone can verify). In my sworn claim, filed months before trial, I explicitly stated I was never provided a written contract. Yet, at trial, the business conveniently produced a document containing a strict non-refundable clause that I had never laid eyes on. The signature resembled mine, but the only item I recall signing that day was my check. The judge strictly enforced their paperwork, meaning this business successfully and legally stripped an 80-year-old of $4,300 in exchange for absolutely zero work. Those are the documented facts. Look up the public record and draw your own conclusion. A final warning to families: If this owner is ever sitting in your mother or father's living room, do not let them sign a single document or write a check that day. My lesson in their business ethics cost me $4,300. Do not let your parents be next.
