Tonight I was craving a home style chicken and rice dish similar to what my mom makes . Now I know it's not possible to get that from a restaurant, but the closest to that is the Donne biryani preparation that a few places offer in the Bay Area. So I looked up Yelp and found this spot. The fact that it already had 4.9 stars was reassuring but I didn't put too many expectations on it. But what I did was call the place and make sure they'd be open by the time I made that 28 mile drive. I spoke to a person named Sagar who took my order and told me to take my time getting there and drive carefully! Husband and I got there around 9:30pm and it's a cloud kitchen setup with kitchens in the back and a point of sale kiosk and counter at the front. As instructed I called Sagar and he came up to the counter with my food, and also let me know he had added a free dessert since I drove all the way from Hayward . Husband and I got home and immediately dug in and what can I say, the flavors totally took me back to my mom's kitchen. The Donne biryani was bursting with taste, and what made it superb was that the flavors were in balance, with neither the spices nor the aromatics being overpowering in any way. The other dish, the pepper chicken was epic by itself, and should have been enjoyed with a bread of some sort, because the biryani didn't need any accompaniment. As if this meal wasn't divine enough the cherry on top was the pineapple kesari dessert that Sagar kindly added to our takeout bag. Thanks Nalapaka, for a taste of home, away from home !

One of my favorite spots in Sunnyvale area with amazing halal food!…read more I got the chicken burger from the numerous reviews and it was so huge!! Come hungry if you want to finish this. It was super crispy and tasted really good! It comes with fries but I upgraded to crazy curry fries and the fries were really good and flavorful! It was like chicken tikka masala sauce with imli chutney. Everything tasted fresh, the service was quick and attentive. The inside had a good amount for seats and there is complimentary chai as well and theres outside seating. Its in a random residential area but would definitely make the trek back here. Best part: THEY HAVE A NAMAAZ ROOM!!!

I ordered the chicken tikka masala, the crazy curry fries, and a mango lassi. I was fully knocked out. The chai at the register is also so delicious and free, you should definitely grab some if you can! It's piping hot and perfectly spiced. The chicken tikka masala itself comes with a delicious flaky naan that's similar to Chinese scallion pancake. It pairs perfectly with the dish itself. The crazy curry fries were also so good and saucy. I was so happy that we were splitting this dish six ways, because I would not have any space to try it had I gone individually. My friend got the Tikka Burger, and he was knocked OUT. It looked so amazing and smelled divine. We also got the yogurt dip to share, and it was so savory and creamy. I'd recommend this to anyone in the area who wants to try some amazing Pakistani food.

There was plenty of outdoor seating, and the service was speedy. You order on a kiosk, which makes for a streamlined ordering process. The food is always solid - I love all of their thali selections. This location was much more peaceful compared to the Palo Alto location. I stopped by on a Saturday evening, and there were only a couple tables that were occupied. I will say I feel like the portion sizes here are noticeably smaller than those at the Palo Alto location. This might be because all of the orders are packed to-go, so maybe there's less space for food? For instance, the thali from the Palo Alto location includes a side salad, which was not included in my order here. The other sides (pickled salad and daal lentil), along with the entree, were also significantly smaller here. The prices are the same, so I do think the Palo Alto dishes are more worth it.

You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table once it's ready. It's pretty much a self-serve setup, but the process was smooth and quick. We ordered chicken lollipops, chicken Manchurian (semi-dry), and combination rice--and honestly, everything was so delicious. The flavors were very close to what I used to enjoy back in Mumbai, which made the experience even better. That perfect balance of spice, tanginess, and Indo-Chinese flair was definitely there. The portion sizes were decent, and the food really hit the spot. If you're craving authentic Mumbai-style Indo-Chinese, this place is absolutely worth trying. I would definitely go back for more!

The buffet line has a vast selection of items. The lunch buffet PRICE is better than all the other Indian restaurants I have eaten at. The nan is hot, fresh and comes right off the grill! The staff provides excellent service and the manager is always on-site as he is a "hands on" manager tending to the needs of the customers. I like that the lunch buffet is open until 3pm so no one is rushed to finish their lunch before the restaurant begins to prepare for the dinner meal. The inside is clean and inviting. The location is easy to get to, right off Lawrence Expy and Central Expy, with plenty of parking. Try it and see for yourself!

They also have multiple banquet halls, so if you're looking for an all in one package for hosting an event - they could be a good pick.
