Would give zero stars if I could. Sent email requesting an estimate for screen replacements. The only credit I will give Mark is that he responded to the initial email 3 hours later even though I sent it at 2:40 yesterday afternoon and he said he would call me the next morning (today, 11/18) which he did not do. I don't do business with service companies that don't do what they say they are going to do. I sent him an email advising him of this and that I was going to leave a bad review and go with someone else to do my requested work. And if that new company does a good job, I'll leave them a good review here and also in my HOA forum for good vendors to work with if anyone else in my neighborhood is looking for someone to do the same service. Ordered some windows after getting a quote, and paying deposit on 4/20/21. I live out of town and was hoping a 3-4 week turnaround. It took longer than anticipated but was informed that it could take 20-25 business days. I understand several manufactures are behind do to the pandemic. Towards the end I did start getting anxiety that I had paid deposit and would not get the windows. I was able to text and e-mail Mark and he was very helpful and kept me updated. I had a great experience with Mark. I texted him for a quote and got a response right away. He came out the next day (and sent a text update for when he expected to arrive). We needed broken glass replaced in a sliding glass door. He measured, ordered glass the next day, and then a few days later came out and replaced the glass (again, texting estimated arrival time). They removed the broken glass and cleaned up everything nicely. Replaced the glass and that was it. Very easy to work with and very polite. read more

Despite the fact that Garcia's quoted me a higher price for the same windows, I was going to go with them based on the high Yelp reviews. Well, maybe Garcia's treats their existing customers nicely, but they certainly treat their potential customers like complete garbage. I reached out to them a few weeks ago to get a quote for my windows. They texted me that they would get back to me later, then eventually sent a quote via text (all of my interactions have been via text. Um... okay). After a few days, I told them I would like to proceed and would they please come over and look at my windows. They said they would be able to come the following week. They never came nor did they tell me why they never got back to me. So I texted them today asking if they were ever coming or if I should look elsewhere. They texted me back seven hours later that they now have a big job in Casa Grande that will take a month. Thanks. Buh-bye. It's clear my small job isn't worth the time of Garcia's, but it's still possible to use manners and not waste people's time. I am now a couple of weeks behind on my window project, fixing the stucco, having my house painted afterward, which puts me going into hot weather--all because Garcia's didn't have the consideration to tell me from day one that my job was too small for their time. I found Mark's company several years ago through Yelp. I'm finally getting around to posting a review and appraisal of his services. Mark has worked on 5 house projects over the last 4 years for me. So, it's fair to say that I know a lot about his workmanship, integrity and honesty. First thing you should know is that he works his ass off. His operating hours (65 hours over 5 1/2 days). I'd bet he exceeds that number when the work load warrants it. When he worked on my 1st project it was around Christmas. I met up with him to pay him. He and his workers had been working 14 days straight, no off time. He wanted to meet the demand for his services. He is all at once working owner, manager and technician. And because he demands solid workmanship, he works 65 hours a week to ensure that it is. I use Mark because is services and products are fair and affordable and I don't have to worry about getting the job done right. I have budgets to maintain and Mark always finds me cost effective solutions. He has a keen eye for the details of his profession and journeyman smarts when it comes to materials and repairs for my projects. He gets the job done and I don't have to micro manage him. All of this explains why he is currently ranked in the top 3 window professionals with almost 100 reviews (he was number 1 I think when I originally found him on yelp). I always search first for the most reviews in yelp. 5-star reviews are meaningless if the company only has 7 reviews. For a smaller company to have the quantity and quality of reviews against much larger rivals is a huge achievement. That's why he's so busy and unfortunately folks get upset about that. But, believe me he is worth waiting for. Garcia's Windows is my 1st and only choice for windows and sliding doors. I had the misfortune of accidentally breaking my kitchen window. Too add to my chagrin I did this right before the weekend and most businesses that were open were quoting hefty "emergency" replacement fees. I called about 5 different spots to get estimates explaining the window was only about 3 feet tall by 2 feet wide. I was shocked at the quotes I was given. Most places charged a lot more than I expected, because the windows crank out so there is additional costs for putty and placement. The first couple of guys I talked to gave me their quotes, then told me that was "standard pricing" when I said I was going to call around more. The last guy was actually pretty rude about it. I decided to stop looking at the well known places and starting skimming the net for contractors. I finally found Garcia's and was amazed when I was quoted about $200 less than at the other companies. The gentleman that came out was polite, professional and very clean (he even cleaned up some of the broken glass I had missed). He was done in just under an hour and the window looks great. Here's why: I called to request an estimate for new bedroom windows and Mark remembered us from a year earlier when he'd come out to do an estimate for custom closet doors that we ended up not having made. He then arrived for the new estimate on time and was as friendly and knowledgeable as before, was careful to get the details of our order right (which included catching an important measuring factor that other companies never mentioned), quoted us a fair price, and ordered the exact product we wanted. I had the unfortunate experience of having someone try to break into my business by throwing a large rock through a side window pane. Luckily we have an alarm, so nothing was taken. He was kind, patient and very direct as to the cost, and what was necessary to complete the job. It took a while to get approval from the insurance company and during that time he never called me to badger me on a sale or pressure me. When I was able to call back, we scheduled a time to replace the windows. Showed up before hand to inspect the damage and verify what we had discussed. He even had an opportunity to get the project done early and asked if it was possible. Even though time didn't permit, it was nice to be treated like a human in this whole break in process. During the recent Oct '10 thunderstorms that affected much of the Valley with broken windows and damaged roofs I had a couple of broken windows that needed immediate repair. I must have called 15+ glass shops for estimates and how soon someone could come out. The owner of the shop called me a few hours later and was very apologetic that it took him awhile to get back to me. I explained my needs and he gave me a very fair quote compared to the variety of estimates I had already received. He was very accommodating to my schedule and came out to do the repairs very early the next morning. In the email, I detailed out my request for replacing the windows in both the front and rear of my condo with the specifications that I was also looking for windows that reduce the sound since our condo is directly off Frank Lloyd Wright. I received a call back from Mr. Garcia on Wendesday and he said that the email was very detailed and we spoke in great length about both the email as well as additional information. He said he would be out to see my condo within a week and would contact me back. Nearly two weeks went by before I made a follow up email regarding the status. I received a response the following day and in it Mr. Garcia quoted a price but no details in regards to the product and number of windows. I sent a follow up email asking if this was for both the front and rear windows as I outlined in the request below and Mr. Garcia stated he did not know there were windows in the rear. I asked then for a follow up call and additional details in regards to the price quote and have yet to receive any follow up emails nor phone calls. At this point, I would not recommend Garcia's Windows & More based on customer service since this is typically is a reflection of the style of business and work provided. read more

You would never think leaky windows in Arizona would be an issue, but then you have never seen the monsoons. I called Garcia's on a Thursday afternoon to have a window replaced after a break-in and Mark was out within a couple hours to take measurements. He promptly returned my call within an hour and scheduled me before his first appointment the following morning..for 5:30 a.m.. He measured for the new glass, removed all the broken glass (dual pane window) and taped the window that was still ok and ordered the new glass. 3 days late when the new glass came in he returned and completed the job. Searched on Yelp and found multiple companies but these guys came with the best price and they were knowledgeable, as well. My order did take a little longer than planned but some of the delays were my own doing. If things started to drag, I would just call Mark until we got in touch. He was always polite, on time for our appointments, and accommodating with my many questions and inability to make decisions. Had Mark come out to repair a sliding window that had the spring pop out. He asked me to text him a few pictures of the damage and measure the window dimensions so he could get the right parts and avoid a second trip. He did clear it with me to start texting back and forth before he actually did, which I thought was just fine. He quoted me what it would cost to fix with or without parts. He arrived exactly when he said he would, and was able to repair the window without parts, which ended up being about $90 (this was about a month ago, so I can't remember the exact cost. It was definitely under $100). Wouldn't hesitate to call him again if I needed another repair. read more
