These were the smallest pieces of bread that I've ever seen. The tomatoes tasted a bit old and bland. That goodness they had balsamic vinegar on the table. 45 minutes later after 2 inquiries about where our food was we were served. My 2nd appetizer was served. Gorgonzola stuffed mushrooms. If I hadn't been so hungry I would have sent these back. No way was that Gorgonzola cheese! So bland, no flavor. My husband's bolognese was so watery and unappealing. He powered through again extremely hungry. Maybe it was an off night, maybe it is how the kitchen runs itself now, we will not be returning.

We were told that the chef was on vacation. Should have just left then. Then after being seated and given menus, they came and took them back and gave us this paper revised menu since the head chef was out. Our actual waitress was Chelsea and she was fantastic. If not for her, I would give 0 stars if possible. The restaurant itself we really did not get to see much as we were tucked away in the 1st dining area by the entrance. No worries. It was nice and quaint inside and that's about where it stopped!! I asked about bread, and a different lady brought us 2 rolls that were barely room temp. Basically went from bag to bowl. We ordered our prime rib medium. As anything over that gets tough. We also ordered it with broccoli and when it arrived it had inedible asparagus. I mean they were so fibrous we could barely cut through them. Chelsea apologized and brough us out some broccoli on the side, and just like the rolls, it was barely room temp. Not her fault by no means. Now onto the very overly cooked prime rib. There was 0 pink in it. It was well done and very tough. It was also barely 1/4 inch thick. I mean the thinnest prime rib I have ever seen for supposedly being a 9oz. I have had 8oz at other restaurants twice the size of what we were served.. The only plus thing about this visit was the mashed potatoes and gravy. Still luke warm at best. I ate about 3 bites of food and was done with it. It was the worst prime rib I have ever seen/tasted in my life. Now Chelsea went and got our receipt for us, which of course was no charge, but if it was, I would have never paid 22.99 for what we received. It was that bad. Chelsea apologized several times and like we told her, you do not control what comes out on these plates. So yes she did get a nice cash tip for being such a sweet waitress and trying to do what she could. As far as the restaurant, we will not be going back for anything there. It is also only open Friday and Saturday from 4-close. I came home and made a sandwich for my now late dinner!

Garabaldi's is a highly-rated Italian restaurant located in the heart of the city. I was excited to visit and try their menu but unfortunately, my experience was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. Firstly, the restaurant was lacking in terms of child-friendliness. There was only one high chair available for children. My friend had to sit with her child on her lap the entire meal. This is a major inconvenience for families with young children. The garlic bread, although it was warm it was very average was overpriced, costing $7 a basket I would expect some cheese or somthing. The food overall was mediocre, and not as delicious as I had expected based on the reviews. The dishes were not as flavorful as I had hoped, even though the portions were of a decent size. The restaurant was also quite expensive, and I felt that the overall experience did not justify the cost. The highlight of the meal was the ravioli's they were absolutely delicious. I would definitely suggest those. I will say the service was was great. Very friendly. read more

I always have a wonderful experience when I visit Garibaldi's! Brenda is the best waitress ever, and Mark is a fantastic chef! Make sure to order extra garlic bread....it is the BEST!!! Prices are very reasonable too. read more

The Jump Up and Kiss Me Chicken was overcooked and extremely dry. The flavor was just okay, but there was nothing particularly special about the dish. Service The service was very poor. Our waitress repeatedly rolled her eyes and barely checked on us to see if everything was okay. I had to repeatedly get up myself to ask for condiments, refreshments, and napkins. Management I was also disappointed with how the manager handled my concerns. After I explained our experience, her response was essentially, "Okay, I'll pass along your comments." She did not seem concerned or interested in making the situation better. Unfortunately, I understood why the service was so poor after speaking with the manager. A manager should set the standard for customer service, and in this case, I did not feel that there was much care or concern for the customers. I used to love going to Reds when they had the previous manager. He was always kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about the customers. The food was also delicious and tasted fresh. It's disappointing to see how much the experience has changed. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously because Reds used to be a place I genuinely enjoyed visiting.

The only thing I can imagine with those negative reviews must be just a Smear campaign from a former disgruntled employee. Who knows? For us, the evening was perfect. Great GREAT staff, and the food was everything you could hope for in a prime Stakehouse. I ordered the 16 oz. Prime rib, and she ordered the small Filet mignon. We chose the Albondigas Soup and baked potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. The meal came with a selection of two breads in the basket they brought out when we sat down. The carrot was good. The service was fantastic. The walls were bare- no pictures? I usually go to CVI steakhouse. This place was a disappointment.

It was ordered medium rare and I was pleasantly surprised it was cooked to just that. The burger I thought was pretty good and not overly salted which was a big plus. It came with a pickle which left you wanting more if you are a pickle fan like me. The fries, eh they were passable, nothing worth noting. If you ever have a urge for a burger, this is certainly not a bad choice, definitely should be tried when you get a chance.

Ah, the memories... The service was good. Right off the bat, my waitress advised me that she was the only person working, yet she still got to me pretty quick. There was nothing like the original awful awful at the Reno nugget, but I would say that this burger is a worthy heir to the throne. It's more of an "upscale awful awful", but it still holds the mantle of awful big, and awful good. When you order, they ask how you want your burger cooked. I asked for medium, and that's how it came. She also offered me several different options beside the fries. For me, fries, no question. I wanted the entire experience. At the old nugget, you'd get a giant basket of fries, which I could never finish. The burger reminded me so much of the original awful awful. It was immense! With my first bite, the memories just came flooding back. Instead of an onion bun, it now comes on a brioche bun, and as I ate the burger, the bun started to disintegrate a little bit, just like it used to do in Reno. It's hard for a bun to hold up to that much burger. All of the fixings were fresh, and my "awful awful sauce", just as good as always, came on the side. That was no problem, I used part of it on the burger, and the rest of it I used as a "fry sauce" which I love. , the fries were skin on steak fries, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and absolutely delicious. I'm not sure what they seasoned them with. Somehow, I managed to finish the whole meal. It's more expensive than the original, but hey, prices for everything have gone up. The price was still very reasonable. No, this isn't the Reno awful awful, but this place has done an awful awful good job of keeping the tradition going. (See what I did there? :) I will be back.
