This place is not good. Their shawarma is very dry, full of lettuce and came with pickles. I couldn't pick it up to eat it. I had to use a knife and fork. The service was poor I asked questions about the dishes and the gentleman at the register just nodded and didn't even care to say a word or explain. Every time we order for takeout, they always make some kind of huge mistake. Whether it's forgetting an item, putting a wrong item, or messing up the order completely. My feedback is not on the food, but their customer service. We have been trying to support local restraints during this time of shelter in place at least 1 or 2 a week Unfortunately when my husband called off their website it unknowingly went to the Seattle location. When we showed up at the Issaquah location they had no record of our order, and as we had already paid for the phone order they told us we would have to work it out with Seattle. They were unwilling to help us in anyway. Not was the Seattle location. Very disappointing to not have any assistance sorting this out. We obviously did not want to drive to seattle to pick up the order so are now out th $45.00 and no food. Wee won't be back. read more

Update: I've had it with this place and the to-go orders. I think I was being generous with my 70% estimation. When my husband comes home with the bag from here I just expect it to be wrong or missing things. After I first posted this review, I started untying the bags to check and they always made me feel weird/guilty/rude for checking. They won't be getting any more of my business unless they seriously update their to-go practices. I'm torn on this one, hence 3 stars. The food is great, and therefore we are frequent customers. However, they get our to-go order right maybe 70% of the time. Forgotten side items, missing parts of the meal, etc. We don't even order customizations, these are things straight off the menu. Every time I go in there, although I'm greeted warmly, there seems to be a level of apathy towards proper service. If you're willing to roll the take out dice, the food is great. read more

I have been spoiled by Santorini in Kirkland. Garlic Crush is acceptable, and I will eat here(the Issaquah one near my home and Bellevue near my work) when I want a gyro, it definitely gets the job done, but it's never something I crave. I recently brought my sister-in-law here because she had never had Mediterranean food before, and she thought it was tasty, so that's good. The gyros are good, and the greek fries are ok. I'd avoid the shawrma though. Their hummus is mediocre and I prefer the bread they use for the gyros. read more

My 9 year old son and I have been going to Garlic Crush in Bellevue for many years and love it. Consistently great food and effective, friendly service. We always have the same, the Chicken Shawarma plate for me and the kid's Chicken Kebab for him. It's our "guys only" treat as my wife doesn't like Mediterranean food quite as frequently as we do. Most recently we've been going to their Issaquah location as well as it is traffic-wise more convenient for us in the evenings. Food-wise it seems to be on par with their Bellevue location. However, after today's experience I will never go there again. We ordered our usual, as we have many times before. When the order came they brought the Kefta for my son instead of his beloved Chicken Kebab. I told the lady who brought us the food that we ordered the Kebab. She responds that this is the kid's Kefta Kebab. I look back at their menu board and point out that that there is nothing called Kefta Kebab. The only item on the kid's menu with Kebab in the name is the Chicken Kebab. She just looks at me and says nothing. So I walked up to the counter to talk to the guy who took our order to get the replacement order in as it was getting late. He seemed to have listened in and told me that I ordered the Kefta for my son. I told him I did not; I hardly know what Kefta are.He replies that he plays back every order to the customer and that I ordered the Kefta. No offer nor intent to make this right. I go back to our table and triple check with my son that we ordered the Kebab for him. He confirms and I can ensure you that while math questions might go in and out in a flash, things he cares about like ordering his favorite food correctly will not. So I sat there having no food for my son as he only eats the Chicken Kebab. Filling him up with Pita bread was not a nutritious option either. No point in going back to the smug guy that lectured me on what I ordered. Hence we got up, left and will never set another foot in this place. read more

I really liked this place. It was one of the few places I would go to when I wanted to eat out. Well, not anymore. Like, never again. The food has become hit or miss lately; more misses then hits actually. I almost always get my food order to go. I've had really good food there before but now, I'm so disappointed when I get home. The meat (usually lamb) can be down right inedible. Bummer, right? Because I'm so hungry and I've just spent $10+ on this one item and now I have to pick pieces that look decent enough to eat. The customer service seriously blows my mind. I know this place can get really busy at times, but that's not a majority of the time. If you hate your job that much, quit, don't take it out on me; the paying customer. I'm really not asking for much here. I walk up to the counter, hand you my money and you hand me my food. Sometimes I feel really uncomfortable and as if I'm inconveniencing them in some way. You don't like my $2 tip on a $10 to go order?? That's 20% my friend-An actual server at a restaurant is lucky to get a 20% tip on a bill and you're jobs aren't even comparable. If you can't be polite, i.e smile, don't hang up on me when I call my order in, exchange a thank you-get out of customer service. Sometimes it's so bad, it's almost laughable. Bottom line: you're taking your chances on the food, don't tip (It won't be to their liking!) and be prepared for the uncomfortably rude employees. read more

Was in town for a few days, this place was open late at night when I arrived so we decided to give it a try. The food was delicious and I could tell that everything was fresh. Ordered the meat tray, which got me pita bread and rice with lamb, chicken and mixed skewered meat. All were nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. The hummus was great too. Me and my friends ended up going every day while we were here, and the standard was just as good each time. The service there was relatively prompt and always friendly. The staff is very rude. Very slow in service and gives attitude when you ask them a question. We ordered three entree during lunch, they served ppl who came after us first. When we went to ask them about our food the staff ignored us and turned their face away from us. They were not even busy when we placed the order. When they finally brought the food no one cared to apologize for the delay. When we came and when we left they don't greet customers. Very unfriendly. YUMMMM!!! This place hits the spot every time and I have been coming here since they opened their first location in the Bellevue Square area. The food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly and the food comes out really fast. Score! I love getting their Chicken Kebob plate which comes with hummus, garlic sauce, rice, pita bread along with a side of soup or salad OR you can substitute for a side of garlic fries for a $1 more which is what I always do. Their garlic fries are always the right amount of sauce and feta cheese and nice and crispy. Also have tried their Gyro and Shawarma dishes that are also delicious. Price wise the portions are great for what you pay for compared to other places in the area. If you're in a hurry I would suggest ordering on the phone and they'll have your order waiting for you.
