Garlic to the Chicken is a small restaurant tucked away near the Forest Avenue stop on the M train. It's pretty standard fare, wings and chicken strips (I had the cheese and garlic flavors and they were pretty decent) and overall the food was very appetizing and perfect for a drunk night out. The storefront itself is small and a little awkwardly laid out and the person staffing the front didn't even look up while I awkwardly stood there trying to figure out the menu. I ordered 20 wings for the super bowl half sweet chili and half spicy. when I went to pick them up the place was packed and it took them a minute to find my order. I didn't check the receipt when I got the bag and when I got home I realized it was sweet chili and soy. This was a quick pit stop in the area that I've been meaning to go to for quite some time period I'm glad I did. It's your basic Korean fried chicken restaurant with their own slavers in sauces. I ended up trying the chicken tenders for the boneless as they called them strips and they did not disappoint. Thin, crispy and full of flavor. I tried spicy (not too spicy at all) and the soy garlic (a bit too salty for my taste). Note: dipping sauces costs extra. It just opened a month or so ago and is a tiny little shop on Forest Ave. there's only 3 seats at an actual table, and 2 benches to wait at for take out or pick up. The food is really good.
