Great neighborhood spot! Chicken wings are spot on. Friendly service with lots of great options. I'm very glad that I found this place. I might call ahead in the future as having them grill the meat takes about 30 minutes, but is well worth it. The chicken wings, lamb chops, bread, and spreads are all delicious. Wow, this place is very good, we went there to sample the meats. We bought the chicken wings, lulie, lamb chops and chicken tighs. We paid extra and had them cooked. It was the best kaboob dinner! We will becoming to this place from now on, it saves us on gas and money from going to Raffis or the Olive Branch for a quick bit. However, do keep in mind this place is a meat market and the food is take out. There is no place to sit and eat. read more

This is truly the best meat market around. They have every kind of meat, all marinated in amazing spices. You want mild? Fine. You want super-spicy? Can do. I got the organic whole chicken which came with seasoned fries, pickled veggies, garlic spread and pita. We inhaled it and can't wait to go back for more. The owner is lovely and so helpful. Since they BBQ the meat for you, you'll either want to call ahead or, even better, go there and order then go run some errands and come back to an amazing dish, (usually half an hour later). Skeptical at first. All 5 star reviews? But this is the real deal!...trust. I read about their hot wings, not expecting too much, when I went there. The wings looked okay, so I ordered 3 lbs. The older guy there was a little rude but the young man who took my order was both congenial and professional. He offered to grill them for me for $1 per pound. Since the service thus far had been good, I said, "sure," and am I glad I did. These peeps an get down! These were the best hot wings I have ever had. Not saucy at all, just PERFECT seasoning, and grilled to PERFETION!!!. I had been lookin for a Soul Food place with bomb meat, I guess I was looking in the wrong place, this Armenian spot is tops. The best!! We have a lot of parties - a lot! Garni is the best quality, taste, freshness and quantity, by far, at a more than reasonable price. We buy it all (chicken, beef, salad, roasted tomatoes & peppers, rice, lavash, and hummus, yogurt/cucumber & the best babaganush (sp?) ever) pre-cooked. Always plenty for leftovers, which is a good thing since we want more for salads, sandwiches, etc. for days to follow! So glad I found this place on Yelp. Very friendly, family owned market. They encouraged me to sample their food before buying to make sure I liked it (BTW, the spinach/yogurt dip was awesome), and gave me some great grilling recommendations. I purchased three kinds of meats the first time so I could grill/sample a selection, my family loved all three. I will be going back to this place for sure. I went here this past weekend to pick up meats for a BBQ and could not have been more pleased. Everything was outstanding.
