TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! A group of friends went to dinner last night. I ordered a To Go order but when I got home I discovered that one of the items I ordered was missing. I called the restaurant and within 20 MINUTES, they had delivered without question the missing dish! In today's times, with so much hatred, there exists a quality, expert and always delicious restaurant. I have eaten there many times. The service is superb, the food plentiful, fresh, tasty. Other restaurants need to take a note from Garson. They excel when it comes to customer service. read more

Very interesting/different place to eat. Loved Yadi's Favorite (I think I got his name correct)... food was great and they have an occasional belly dancer to entertain. If there is belly dancing, I recommend not sitting close to the speaker, the music near the speaker can be a bit loud. read more

Great food, I come here with my family frequently since the service is always consistent and so is the food. I would recommend the hummus, barg, koubideh, sabzi, and quail. Those would be my go-to dishes but everything is fresh and tastes authentic unlike other Mediterranean/ Persian restaurants where dishes taste premade prior to your arrival. The owner, Amir, is also very hospitable and friendly with us as is the rest of the staff. He always takes time to greet us and to make sure things are just right. This is definitely a spot that I will continue to bring my family and would recommend to others to come try! read more

Food was good, nothing spectacular. Sadly our server Sadeg was crap... He wasn't attending to our table as frequent as he was with others. Never once offered a refill, we had to request one. Also didn't ask how we were doing or if we needed anything else. Kept us waiting to receive our bill, better yet we had to come looking for him. Not to mention it was already 10:30pm with only about 2 other tables in the entire restaurant. I would hate to pull the race card but unfortunately that's what it seemed like made this man lose his customer service entirely.18% gratuity was added to our bill but if that wasn't the case he would have received nothing. Ask for the hot tea at the end of the meal. Their salmon is so good. Don't forget to try the cheese and mint platter with the pita bread.

Great place for kebab and meat. We went as a group of 4, I ordered quail and others ordered chicken with bone, Garson special. We are all satisfied. The wine menu is also very reasonable, nobles merlot and New Zealand Malbec are great with these meat dishes. Service is also great, the overall dining experience is outstanding. I had a chicken/rice/mushroom dish. I'm sorry I don't remember the name, it was really delicious. The hummus, bread, & cheese delicious. The portion was enough for a full extra meal. Visited this weekend for dinner and the restaurant is still great! The place was full but not crowded. It was nicely decorated with Christmas decorations. Garson looked quite elegant inside: tables were covered with table cloth and there were cute flower bouquets on the tables. They also have a cute outside sitting area and I would love to come back on a nice sunny day for lunch or early dinner. The serving staff was polite. The puffy pita bread was to die for!!! This was my first time to try Persian food and it was fantastic. My husband has been eating here for about two years with rave reviews and finally talked me into trying it out on a date night with friends. The food was very old with a variety of different dishes. After living in Houston for 15yrs, I can comfortably say that Garson is the top persian restaurant in town for many reasons. - Meats quality: I have never had a piece of meat that is chewy or over cooked. Also, I have never felt like the meat was frozen (I couldn't tell). Chicken, shrimp and also good. - Bread is made the same way I tasted it in the middle east and have never changed over the years. - Service here is excellent and staff are very nice. I remember them since the first time I visited dined at the restaurant. I invited 18 guests once over there and the did a great job as if I was eating there with 1 guest. This restaurant has been dear to my heart for the last decade and it is so upsetting to see their significant downfall. Food quality has gone down, business has declined, and especially their service is anything but professional and efficient. Came in the other day and waited 20 minutes: no one looked at us, came to us, and noticed we left. I have ordered catering from here several times in the past, celebrated Nowruz here for years on end, and enjoyed family celebrations here. Going here is like a sad memory of what used to be a great Persian restaurant however it is not worth visiting anymore. read more

Garson is great! It's much better than the other Persian restaurants such as Caspian, Bijan, and Kasra. It has a perfect mix of American Persian food and the owner (Amir) and manager (Miri) make a point to stop by your table and make sure you have enjoyed your experience. Garson's has changed over the years. At one time, it was a trendy hang-out & dinner place for upscale Persian people, with live music and more of a supper club atmosphere. Now, the live music is gone, and the restaurant is family oriented and far more casual. The parking here is interesting. It seems no one can park within their designated lines, so you just have to climb over your console & get out of your car best you can. But to the food & service. Upon being seated, flat bread with cheese & herbs was presented, which was lovely. The menu has lots of chicken dishes, stews, and more importantly, lamb, which seems to be a hard item to find on Houston menus. Rice is a staple of Persian cuisine, and it is fluffy and delicious. You have rice choices, including dill rice, which is good. There appeared to be one waiter covering the restaurant, and he did a great job. It's pretty loud in here, so keep that in mind. read more

I ate at Garson for the first time yesterday, and now I wished I didn't live so far away from it! The restaurant is beautiful, and they had a gorgeous looking terrace outside, but it was raining when we went, so we couldn't sit there. We got free fresh pita bread and some fresh herbs and vegetables when we sat down, and the pita bread was great, all warm and crispy yet chewy. My baba ganoush was good (garlicky!) and my boyfriend's lamb shish kabobs were very tender. My friend got one of the alfredo pastas, and he said it was surprisingly good. From the beginning, Mrs. Parvaneh Miri our event manger very professional and extremely knowledgeable, clearly explained our options and helped to pick up the best plan for us.During this process , I felt no pressure on us to make decision .
