I got the original bacon wrapped shrimp with double rice oh my goodness it's so good. All the shrimp dishes are good and the devil rice is to die for I would recommend this place. It is delicious and affordable really it's cheaper than enchiladas. I recommend this is very good. read more

I've been here several times and the food is decent and I do love the oysters on the half shell but tonight after spending $30 on an Uber to get here they advised me they're closing at 7 o'clock for apparently no reason I guess because it's cold because there is no adverse weather forecasted for tonight and I am furious. They would not go ahead and let us order a meal even though other people are being served because they were anxious to go home so this will be my last time to come here and just be advised if you're making plans to travel to this location make sure they're going to be open because they definitely are not reliable read more

My last review about this places was bad, but I gave it another chance and WAS DELICIOUS the rice with seafood, I think it's not in the menu but Im not really sure. It was Mother's Day when I went & it was packed but was able to find seating. You walk in & sit down where you please. The food was average but I really enjoyed the calamari! I had the shrimp tacos & wasn't really impressed. I could of made that at home. The rice is so good though. The service was okay. I think some things got misinterpreted due to the language differences but it was no big deal. We asked for some water and never received any but that's okay because it wasn't crucial so we weren't really complaining. I asked if the coleslaw and Pico de gallo can be put on the side & was told no so when I received my tacos, I removed the coleslaw and pico myself. First time coming here. Saw good reviews , so wanted to give it a try. I looked at menu online so I would know beforehand what to order. I love seafood, and one of the first things that I noticed about the menu was that the prices were reasonable ! Well, when I arrived at the restaurant, I noticed that the parking lot was packed , and a lot of people were coming and going...that is a sure sign that the food must be good . I ordered the seafood gumbo, fish tostada, the #1 fried fish and shrimp with the fried rice as my side , and a side of grilled veggies. When my order was ready, I wanted to check my bag to make sure everything was there, plus wanted to make sure crackers were in the bag. I didn't want to pull everything out on counter to check, so I waited until I got into the car ( food smelled so delicious). Again, I still did not want to pull everything out of bag to check--such a headache to do, so I just glanced to make sure crackers were in bag , and I noticed I had large container which was the main entree was there, saw gumbo, and two other containers... I felt I had everything , until I got home. When I got home and pulled everything out of bag, and then opened container, I noticed I had two containers of grilled veggies and no tostada. I am not a big vegetable eater, so I was not happy that I had two orders of veggies and no tostada. My first thought was to go back to get my tostada (of course after I ate first); call restaurant to let them know what happened , and I would return tomorrow to get tostada. But then I thought about it, I was not missing an item, I just got wrong item. And although the tostada was $.50 more than veggies, I would be wasting more gas to return to restaurant . So I decided to keep things as they were, and next time, no matter what, to check everything before I leave. With that said, now to the food: everything was delicious except I was not crazy about the shrimp . The shrimp are butterflied, and 2 or 3 of the shrimp were almost paper thin that it was dried up inside--biting into nothing but crust. I will definitely go back, and hopefully get to try the tostada , and some other items. Again, the prices are very reasonable . read more

The place is always crowded and sometimes you have to wait a bit, but that's because the food is so good! I always get the empanadas to start. They're filled with cheese, shrimp, chipotle pepper, cilantro, and I think maybe black beans. They come with a salsa verde that pairs perfectly with them. I usually get the #1 for my entree which is two fried fish fillets and six pieces of fried shrimp and I get their famous fried rice as my side. Also, they have a coke freestyle machine which is one of the only places I can find diet Mr. Pibb! read more

I ordered shrimp fried rice using a $ 10 gift card I was given and they could not figure out how to use the card. I waited about 4 minutes until I suggested to call a manager. They did and he got it working and then I waited another 12 minutes and still no rice. I asked the waitress and she said I need a receipt but I said I just want the rice I did not need a receipt. After 6 more minutes I got the rice and when I turned to leave she called me a "stupid, fucking white man" in Spanish which I speak some but understand more.
