I came to this office specifically looking for a cosmetic dentist because I was very concerned…read moreabout the appearance of my teeth. During my initial consultation, Dr. Collins repeatedly asked why I was there if I already had a dentist. I explained multiple times that I wanted someone focused on cosmetic work because aesthetics were important to me, but she continued questioning me in a way that felt dismissive and strange. Unfortunately, the actual dental work reflected the same experience. I had bonding done, and one tooth was shaped incorrectly and angled downward instead of following the natural upward curve of a smile. The other bonded tooth had a rough surface texture that didn't feel properly finished. I also had a crown done, and when the permanent crown came back, the shade was dramatically darker than my surrounding teeth. It was noticeable enough that I immediately raised concerns. Since I had already waited the standard two weeks in a temporary crown, I asked whether the remake could be expedited. I was told yes, but that didn't happen. It has now been about a month in a temporary crown for what should have been a two-week process. What was most frustrating was the response to my concerns. When I explained that my bite felt off and I could no longer properly bring my top and bottom teeth together to bite things normally, Dr. Collins dismissed it and told me that I "shouldn't need to do that." Regardless of the example I used, the point was that my bite no longer felt functional or natural. Instead of feeling heard, I felt brushed off. At this point, the experience has been disappointing both cosmetically and professionally. I'm updating this review after today's appointment depending on whether the replacement crown is finally correct. ***Updating my review after today's appointment because the situation became significantly worse. First, I realized after arriving that I had accidentally written the wrong dentist's name in my original review. The dentist I actually saw was Dr. Collins. When I noticed her name on her jacket, I clarified that I wanted to correct the review so the right provider was identified. She asked if I had a good experience, and I honestly told her no. She then asked what my experience was, and I offered to show her the written review on my phone since I had already documented everything in detail. Her response was, "Oh wow, I'm not reading all that." Then she asked me again to explain my experience verbally after dismissing what I had already prepared. After that, I laid back in the chair and she started tugging on my temporary crown for quite a while. Before this, they had already shown me the replacement crown and had me compare the color against my teeth. I said it looked okay to me and asked for her professional opinion since she is the dentist. She agreed it looked fine. Then suddenly, after already handling my tooth, she asked, "Are you sure you want me to put this crown on?" I was completely confused because I had taken time off work, confirmed earlier that morning that the crown was ready, and drove out there specifically for this appointment after already waiting a month in a temporary crown that was only supposed to be on for about two weeks. At that point she said she was refusing to place the crown. I became frustrated and did raise my voice and curse, because I genuinely could not understand why I was being denied treatment after everything that had already happened. We went to the front desk area where I began recording the interaction for my records. During the conversation, Dr. Collins reached toward my phone and stopped the recording. I was initially told they would still complete the procedure, so I sat back down and waited again. About 10 minutes later, another staff member came in and informed me that Dr. Collins refused to do the crown placement and that I needed to leave. The front desk employee explained that because the service was never completed, they would not bill my insurance and would stop the claim from processing. I also requested written documentation of what occurred for my records. What bothered me most was that even after refusing treatment, Dr. Collins came back over while I was speaking privately with the front desk employee and said, "It's not my fault your tooth came out a different shade." At that point I explained that the shade mismatch was only one of several issues I experienced throughout this process. So now I am left with a temporary crown that has been in place for about a month, after it was already tugged and loosened during this visit, and I now have to figure out how to start over and find another dentist to complete the work properly. The only positive part of this experience was the front desk staff member who remained patient, calm, and compassionate throughout an extremely stressful situation.

I called probably about 15 different dental offices and only two answered the phone. I'm so glad they answered the phone here because it was a very great experience. The receptionist that answered the phone was very kind and patient and just overall had a very sweet calm tone. Very pleasant to speak with someone that wasn't going to try and rush me off the phone. I was able to get in by the end of the week and I called on a Tuesday, I was in that Thursday afternoon. Angela was super sweet in trying to help me with the insurance stuff (I read my insurance stuff wrong and she wasn't mad at me lol) and she was very pleasant to work with. So I get there and the office is very clean and the staff is awesome, everyone is super cool and very kind. I tend to be a chatterbox if I'm comfortable somewhere so they chatted with me :) I was asked my preferred name which is great, cause I do not like my first name, I prefer my nickname better cause it's just easier for everyone all the way around :) X-rays were easy and the girl helping me (sorry I forgot your name!) was awesome, she was super mellow and just made the entire experience great :) the dentist is a very nice man and told me what I needed to work on and when to come back. No nonsense, I needed to work on X Y and Z, and then I had my teeth polished by another awesome staff member and I was finished. She was very mellow and chill too. Loved it! Really really happy I found this dentist office, with my insurance it's affordable to get everything done that I need to get done for my oral health and I'm actually excited about going back just because everyone is mellow and chill and easy to get along with and the dentist is super nice. I'm going to find out if they accept my fiancé's dental insurance so he can go here for his dental health. I highly recommend this dentist and his office. Very pleasant to work with and very clean, I will not be going anywhere else for my dental health. I'm going to try and refer everyone I can here :) There is an offer to get a Starbucks gift card, however my experience here WAS great and I feel anyone shopping for a new dentist should know about how great of an experience I had here.

I do not recommend Dr. Igor Babenkov or this dental office for Invisalign or orthodontic treatment…read more My treatment lasted over a year and a half, but my teeth were only molded once, many trays were lost, and my teeth are still crooked in the back of my front teeth. They may look straight from the front but the inner alignment is off because there wasn't enough room in my jaw. The treatment felt rushed and like shortcuts were taken, which caused my bite to be misaligned and led to TMJ issues. When I asked for corrections, they tried to charge me extra for procedures that should have been included in the treatment. Communication and billing were also problematic. Yelena at the front desk, who has worked there for many years, seems to manipulate paperwork or bills to charge patients who question treatment or express dissatisfaction. She works very closely with Dr. Babenkov, and if he shows even slight frustration, she will try to find a way to bill you. In their communications, they make sure to squeeze every penny, even if they initially offer you a "good deal" to lock you into Invisalign treatment. Don't fall for their manipulation it's grimy and scandalous. Dr. Babenkov often mentions his training in Germany and expertise, but the treatment felt rushed and careless, without proper planning. As a result, I now have TMJ related discomfort, a misaligned bite, and forehead wrinkles from jaw tension all caused by their poor treatment. Even three years after my treatment and wearing retainers I still experience jaw and forehead pain because of TMJ issues that weren't addressed properly. Honestly, to make up for this, they'd need to pay me a year's worth of Starbucks gift cards (an inside joke because the office used to give them to patients for reviews) and a years of Botox for the wrinkles caused by their treatment. Overall, I do not feel this office handles orthodontic care responsibly. My treatment caused lasting problems, discomfort, and unexpected costs. If you don't want permanent jaw pain, to have to see an oral surgeon like me, or TMJ issues, do not go here. I cannot recommend this office. I would never go back. *** When I asked the doctor to fix the crooked teeth, he moved my teeth without explaining the risks, precautions, or even asking for my consent. Afterwards, the office tried to charge me $78, claiming it was for a "filling," which clearly was not the case and Yelena proceeded to tell me "I received treatment after my Invisalign treatment timeline was over" LIKE WHAT the only reason I had that appointment was to tell the Dr. my teeth were still misaligned! The only reason I went to this office in the first place was because someone highly recommended it and made it sound better than it actually was. I honestly didn't even want to go here, and now I regret that decision.*** ALL I CAN SAY NOW IS DONT DO IT.

I would give this office zero stars if I could…read more My experience with the billing and insurance process was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, I provided both of my parents' insurance information and understood that both policies would be used to help cover my treatment. I later learned that only my father's insurance had been billed and that my mother's insurance had not yet been submitted. When my father's insurance reached its annual maximum, I was not informed before treatment continued. I was never given the opportunity to decide whether I wanted to pay out of pocket or wait until my secondary insurance had been billed. Instead, I continued treatment under the impression that everything was being handled appropriately. After I asked about this, I was told the office would submit everything to my mother's insurance, that it could take 4-5 weeks to receive a response, and that I would receive a callback with an update. I never received that callback. I had to follow up myself, only to be told the claim still had not been submitted. After waiting even longer with no communication, I received a bill for $845. What made this even more frustrating was the lack of communication. Before I stopped going to the office for the holidays while waiting to hear back about my mother's insurance, I was only asked to pay out of pocket for my last two treatments--one for about $26 and another for about $257. I paid those amounts because I was told my mother's insurance would be submitted and that I would receive an update. However, I was never told that my earlier, more expensive treatments could result in additional charges. Receiving a bill for $845 afterward came as a complete surprise. Had I been informed that my primary insurance had reached its annual maximum or that my secondary insurance had not yet been billed, I could have made a different decision about continuing treatment. I repeatedly had to contact the office because I never received the promised updates. I felt that my concerns about the billing and communication process were not adequately addressed. Patients deserve clear communication about insurance coverage, expected costs, and any changes before treatment--not surprise bills afterward. My advice to anyone considering this office is to ask exactly which insurance is being billed, request written estimates whenever possible, and verify your remaining insurance benefits before each treatment. Don't assume both insurance policies are being billed simply because they're on file. This review reflects my personal experience with the office. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and the unexpected billing left me with a very negative impression.

Insurance issues - every time my husband and I would pay for whatever work we had done (cleanings,…read morefillings, etc.) we would get a bill in the mail saying we didn't pay enough. I have never had this issue with other dentists and A+ dental's excuse was "your insurance didn't cover as much as it said it would." My husband I moved a lot due to work and we've had three other dentists all using the same dental insurance and we've never been sent bills like this. They must be sending the wrong billing codes or doing the calculations incorrectly but it's ridiculous. I would not recommend this dentist if you're going through insurance. That said, the office staff was nice.
