No line at this place, just one car in the garage, thought I could swing by and get my oil changed easily, I pull up, wait for the man, as the sign says wait for attendant....... both service stations have a cone in front of them, he is standing in the middle of the two, and proceed to tell me how stupid I am for not knowing where to pull in, "I don't know how many more signs I could possibly put up for you people" tried to let it roll off my back, and when I asked which lane he wants me to pull in he continues for scoff as loud as he could roll his eyes and say "you still can't figure it out?" Will never come back, all I asked was which lane to pull in and got called stupid three different times. I refused to give him my business, I ended up leaving. I've been going to this place for 3 years and am very appalled and disappointed with their service, honesty and lack of concern for customers. I went to get my car serviced for brakes elsewhere and was told that my oil was dangerously low even though I got an oil change at Gary's 3 weeks ago. Apparently, my oil pan was damaged and has been leaking but Gary's failed to notify me verbally and gave me an oil change anyway, knowing I had a leak. This tells me that they don't care for the well being of their customers and the customers safety and just wanted my money, knowing that I would have to come back for another oil change sooner. The supervisor said to me, "what do you expect us to do if you have a leak? refuse service until you fix your oil pan? And service you after you get it fixed??" YES. Exactly what you are supposed to do!!! THEY ARE LIARS. I came back today to ask them why they proceeded to replace my oil, knowing that I had a leak. They reprinted my last two statements and gave me a statement of a STRANGER'S RECEIPT to prove that they wrote down the damage on the receipt. Attached is proof of the statements, showing that they gave me a random customers receipt. My name is Vivian. Not Tania. These men are SCAMMERS. Even if you wrote it down, you need to VERBALLY tell your customers if there is an oil leak. If I was a bad person, I now have a random strangers VIN number, phone number and address to steal their vehicle. Please do not trust these people and get your car serviced somewhere else. read more

Found Gary's through Yelp because I was searching for a place that would accept a "walk-in" oil change for a decent price. So the place I was hoping to go to that's super cheap could not have my vehicle in until another week and a half. I tried to schedule it sooner but was told the wait time would be 45 minutes to an hour. Neither the wait nor the date could work for me, and I'm so glad it didn't because I wouldn't have found Gary's! Gary's was able to see me the same day without making an appointment, and the whole process was literally 15 minutes. Not only did they change my oil, they also washed my windows and vacuumed the interior--both complimentary! Needless to say, I am very impressed with the service I received at Gary's. They really went above and beyond my expectations, so much so that I'd be more than happy to pay a little extra to continue going to them in the future for my oil changes. The icing on the cake was when the person (didn't catch the name... shame on me) who rang me up sent me on my way and thanked me by name. I stand by my five star review - I have had my oil changed here since I was 16! Yes - there is a crotchety old man who will yell at you when you first get there. He's been there for years. But honestly, don't let him scare you away! Everyone else is really nice, and - It's the fastest oil change ever! Even when I pull up and there's a line, they get through people very quickly. If you do wait, there's a nice indoor area to get a cup of coffee and sit. With the oil change itself, they vacuum up your carpets, top off any fluids - all for free. I had a few warning lights on and they were able to check the codes for me. I would have to have stuck around for more extensive information, but they said they could look around and give me an estimate if I wanted. They could also change out my wiper blades! Talk about full service. Seriously, this place is awesome. A little gruff, but there's a reason I drove from Bellevue for years.... and now Canada... to visit this place. read more

Terrible. I'm not sure how this place received so many great reviews. I took my truck in for a simple oil change and they somehow managed to screw that up. The person who serviced my truck put the drain plug in crooked....VERY crooked ( you can see that it isn't properly seated) and oil has been pouring all over my garage since they worked on it. The underside of the truck was spotless when I took it in, now it's covered in oil--from the oil pan all the way back to the rear end. I usually do my own preventative maintenance, but I currently don't have the space to do that since I am living in an apartment complex. Never taking any of my cars here again. I've been getting my oil changed at Gary's for years and they are always friendly, fast and have reasonable prices. I even went in today because my headlight bulb had burnt out. I already had the new bulbs, but just needed someone to actually change out the old bulbs from my car since I didn't have the necessary tools to do it myself. They were happy to do it and got it done super quick as always. I like that they never try to pile on more services just to drive up the price, like some other auto shops I've been to. You can tell that Gary (the owner) really appreciates his customers, as do his employees. Keep up the good work! read more

Since their service was super quick, I worried a little bit. Been coming here for years. Last time I received an oil change from them, they told me that I didn't have much life on my car battery and recommended I change it. Bought a new batteryfor my car at a different place and when I got it replaced at a different location, they told me my battery still had 50% left on it. Wasted my money on a new car battery. I just got ridiculed and told I need a reading lesson. After waiting 20 minutes. I would encourage people to avoid this place. I apparently was blocking their drive way. All I wanted was an oil change!! Make sure to read their signage before approaching. If you don't do exactly as they expect, you need a reading lesson. My mistake? I waited where the lanes split into two garage locations in order to accommodate them (wasn't certain which garage they'd want me in ). I was scolded by a guy who works at an oil change place. This was the most I had ever pay to get my oil changed. I've paid a lot less for a full synthetic oil change. Over one hundred dollars is ridiculous! They couldn't even check why my car was making weird noises. Also I still had a Tire pressure warning lit up in my vehicle. read more

In this case, they did recommend additional services (engine flush) and parts (light bulbs), but it seemed reasonable based on the mileage of my car and the dead bulbs. read more

Great in and out service. Done in under 20 mins and $5 off with Yelp. Price was right. Only issues was when I checked in had asked to have wipers replaced. This didn't get relayed to technician or if it was they forgot. Afterwards he said the wipers were fine but I will have to replace soon. The guys here we awesome when I came in for an oil change. I went to a different shop about a month ago and then my oil light came on. When I got into Castrol they told me that my oil cap was missing and oil had gotten everywhere! It was such a mess I almost started crying. I started going to Castrol 11 Minute Oil Change in 2005, while I was living in the Renton Highlands. I liked their attitude. Their prices, while not the cheapest, are very reasonable for the services they include. And I know this is a religious discussion, but I like Castrol motor oil; my car just seems to run smoother when I use it, compared to Quaker State, Pennzoil, and others I've tried. So now that I've moved to Bellevue, I still make the effort to drive back down to Castrol 11 Minute Oil Change when it's time for an oil change. A solid business providing a high-value service. Their waiting area could be a little cleaner, but I like that they have cameras so you can actually watch them working on your car. By far the best oil change experience I've had in years. Thanks to other Yelp reviews for tipping me off to this location! Usually in the past I wait for my 'check engine' light to come after the fast change artist wrecklessly disconnects a vacuum hose. I pointed that out to the manager, who works on vehicles himself, and he assured me that would not happen at this store. There was no upsell to higher oil grade or air filters. The oil change may take 11 minutes but the rest of the service is much more, don't be fooled that you will be in and out so quick. I was also told I needed a new battery to which I agreed 40 mins later and still no completion. As I needed to be somewhere I asked how long they would be, 20 mins later and I finally got out of there. Sadly not the end of the story as they had fitted the wrong connector bolt and I found that it had come out leaving me with no battery connection. Long story short when I went back the owner was less than helpful and told me to go to an automotive store and buy an extended coupler. Will not be going back $240 for lousy service, once bitten etc. read more
