    Found Gary's through Yelp because I was searching for a place that would accept a "walk-in" oil change for a decent price. So the place I was hoping to go to that's super cheap could not have my vehicle in until another week and a half. I tried to schedule it sooner but was told the wait time would be 45 minutes to an hour. Neither the wait nor the date could work for me, and I'm so glad it didn't because I wouldn't have found Gary's! Gary's was able to see me the same day without making an appointment, and the whole process was literally 15 minutes. Not only did they change my oil, they also washed my windows and vacuumed the interior--both complimentary! Needless to say, I am very impressed with the service I received at Gary's. They really went above and beyond my expectations, so much so that I'd be more than happy to pay a little extra to continue going to them in the future for my oil changes. The icing on the cake was when the person (didn't catch the name... shame on me) who rang me up sent me on my way and thanked me by name. (Since I work in the customer service industry, I have to give shoutouts when I receive genuine customer service!) Way to go to the team at Gary's--incredibly impressed!

    This place was great. I was in quickly, wasn't "up-sold" on things I didn't need, and the free coffee was nice to have too. Reasonable prices and nothing extra to be wary of in an oil change. Honestly, seems like a place I would have no issues sending my Mom by herself to get an oil change from. Thanks for the help today!

    Literally took 10 minutes in and out! They're amazing, did a thorough job, even vacuumed! And very friendly, I'll definitely be coming back.

I took the car home and the other noise came on again on the freeway so I recorded it and emailed it to them. I dropped my car off the next day and also spoke to the owner Tony who is a great person. He was very patient, calm and ended up finding out what the issue was, and got it all fixed for me. It was nice to work with Daniel, the Service Manager, and Tony, the Owner and help find out exactly what was going on with my car. I really appreciate their customer service and honesty. Daniel was very helpful and clear in communication. I was happy to talk to the business owner Tony who was very kind, patient, understanding, honest and I love the fact he was willing to take time to have a conversation and get to know each other as people. I like getting to know the actual business owner so I know who we're supporting in business. And Tony and team have definitely earned our business. I originally had an appointment on Memorial Day but called to ask to have it the next day and was told no problem. I asked how long the service would be and was told an hour and a half. When I show up for my appointment there was two workers and no wait to take my car back. After 2 hours they asked if I wanted an alignment- I agreed so I knew it would take longer, but at 2 hours we are already past the time I was originally told for service. Everything together took about 3.5 hours- I was there from 9am to 12:30pm. The staff is friendly, but maybe a little too friendly. The manager came and sat with me in the little waiting area and wanted to talk. and talk. and talk some more. It would have been fine as a courtesy for 10-15 minutes but for nearly the entire three hours he wanted to talk about everything from food, religion, dating and his health issues. Tires are great, service took too long and there needs to be some boundaries with the staff.

But the product and services have been sharply declining with little/no concern from the stores or corporate (similar issues that resulted in the fall of Sears & Roebuck). On schedule, I had my tires rotated on 3/3/25 at the Renton highlands store where they did not replace the center cap securely on one of the wheels. It fell off and the store had zero interest in taking responsibility. So, I wrote to Kimberly Roy at Goodyear Corporate who pushed the company into paying $83 for the lost cap that I had to replace. THEN, I had my tires rotated again at this same store on 11/6/25. Same manager and same problem with poor workmanship. Shortly after this rotation, one of the caps fell off, again! I reported it to the manager (Jorge) who would not take responsibility, so I wrote to Kimberly Roy again. This time, neither the store, nor corporate were willing to take responsibility, probably thinking "I" was the problem. I replaced the cap as quickly as possible and TODAY, May 4, 2026, the cap still rides securely in its place (picture attached, taken May 2, 11:10 am). I stopped buying tires from Goodyear because of horrible service and products. Les Schwab, a truly great customer service company with great tires and warranties, recently offered to rotate my "Goodyear" tires for free because I bought truck tires from them and will buy Les Schwab tires for my Buick as well when needed. Incidentally, one of the Goodyear tires on my Buick also must have a bad cable or other defect, because neither Goodyear nor Les Schwab can get the vibration out of it. The Goodyear shop "claims" they cannot feel the vibration and refused to replace the tire. I have been extremely impressed with the service and tires at Les Schwab. Goodyear is not paying attention and does not care. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH GOODYEAR AGAIN - I SUGGEST YOU TRY LES SCHWAB EXCELLENT SERVICE AND TIRES...YOU WILL ALWAYS DO BUSINESS WITH LES SCHWAB.

After going through the legal process and receiving a court ruling in our favor, we are still waiting for payment that was ordered. Brian, the representative who appeared on behalf of the company in court, was present during the process, which makes the lack of resolution even more frustrating. What has upset us most is not just the original issue, but the continued lack of follow-through afterward. Having to pursue legal action was stressful enough, and still not having the matter resolved has been incredibly disappointing. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage others to do thorough research and proceed with caution. To those who have had a good experience with them thus far,just hope that they don't damage your vehicle and you have to take other measures, because if you do, winning in court does not settle the issue. After repeated calls and talking with Brian, their manager, will not return calls and have completed disregarded their legal responsibilities. They'll absolutely would take you to court if you did not pay your bill. This says A LOT about a business!

It was this 1990 Mercedes that he parked in his carport since 2019. This was the first luxury car that he bought when he first moved to the U.S. more than 20 years ago. My dad was a mechanic in Thailand. He also used to sell luxury cars like this to many politicians in Thailand after he graduated from law school. He loved cars and he knew how special 1990 Mercedes is. I trusted my dad's judgment about cars so I know that this 1990 Mercedes must be an amazing car. It was so difficult for me to find a mechanic in nears my house who would help me restore my dad's car. Then someone told me about Schmitt Automotive. Frank and Mark helped me restore this car. They didn't just help me fix the car so it can drive again. Frank helped me restore the car to the point that it's no longer leaking in the trunk, the radio that didn't work now is working great. It's amazing beyond amazing. Frank took care of this car as if it was his own car. It's rare to find a mechanic who is kind, honest and meticulous like Frank. It was very easy to communicate with Mark to get updates and etc during the process. I finally drove this 1990 Mercedes yesterday for the first time after Frank and Mark helped me fix it. I was so impressed how amazing it is to drive this car. I test drive the newer luxury cars earlier this year and now I own 2 different cars (one is an EV).
