Fantastic cupcakes and such a friendly woman. Found her during the pandemic when all the bakeries were closed and have used her for all our birthday parties since. With so little reviews, I was skeptical, but boy was I lucky I took the chance. She was able to accommodate my last minute order of a dozen Chocolate Cupcakes with half Espresso Frosting and half Salted Caramel Frosting a day before delivery! On the day of delivery, Michele texted me the finishing touches of the cupcakes to see if it was to my liking or not. She wanted me to see the cupcakes before she made the delivery, which was great. I love the fact that when she made the delivery, she made sure the person who was receiving the cupcakes actually gets them. I can't rave enough about Michele and her incredible cupcakes. I reached out to Gateaux about ordering 30 for a birthday party on short notice, explaining that we'd waited to go forward with finding any cupcakes because we'd doubted that the air quality would allow for us to actually gather. Michele not only said she could do this (given her current capacity, I should be careful to say), she generously worked with us given these uncertainties, to a level that genuinely surprised me. Furthermore, when I explained that we would be moving about for many hours with the cupcakes before some would be able to enjoy them, Michele came up with a perfect solution to keep them from sagging - they looked just as gorgeous when served. The result was both beautiful and delicious, and very well packed. When it came time to eat, we frequently heard "these are the best cupcakes I've ever had!" With only 2 days notice, Michele was able to accommodate my 3 dozen cupcake order. I ordered one dozen of each: Mocha, Salted Caramel and Strawberries & cream. I forgot to take photos before they were devoured, but I can assure you they looked exactly like the other photos previously posted. Elegantly packaged, I delivered them to a French restaurant for a staff member birthday. Everyone was so happy. Not too sweet, moist and creamy little jewels. That evening I stood behind the restaurant groups pastry chef and overheard her say, this is the best buttercream I have ever tasted, about the strawberries & cream cupcake.
