I have always been treated like family at Gateway Tires. Arnold is friendly and knows his stuff. No lies or excuses. Other shops say things like we can't align your car because it is too low or you need new camber bolts. They don't play that game at Gateway Tire. My Toyota Supra gets great tire wear thanks to Gateway Tire. I ran over a curbed island accidentally and my alignment was way out on the right side. Arnold and his crew fixed it. i don't like the lack of communication i'd appreciate if i was called beforehand to know if i my car was going to be kept over night.

I came to get a tire replaced and another tire patched,they replaced a tire and charged me for a valve stem and balance but they did not do that, and only plugged my flat tire and charged me $15. While I was on freeway before first exit a car flagged me down and I get down to check and wheel is almost off I limped way back to shop. And they still wanted to forcefully put wheel on. I had them fix. Never going back. read more

I've been in Yucaipa for 15 years and pass this place multiple times a day, they are always busy and I was strapped for time so I gave them a call and seen if they could do a quick job on a total of 12 wheels, and 8 tires that I needed swapped around and tire sensors put in and balanced and installed on my vehicle. They said bring it down and I was in and out of there in about a hour, I gotta say I don't know why I didn't come here a long time ago I'm very happy with the service and the great price they gave me I will continue to bring my vehicles here in the future read more

This place should be outta Business they basically broke my truck more than what it was Took money from me my radio got stolen out of my truck I wouldn't recommend anybody to take their vehicle here I really wish I could not leave no store whatsoever but I have no choice I put my truck on a tow truck the boss man and he had my truck come back to my house and taking it off of the tow truck and hit my 2022 dodge charger scat pack it was a very very bad experience and now he don't want to be responsible for what the tow truck did to my car not cooperative or nothing if you call to get a update he just argues with you and tells you if you want to come pick up your car very very bad bad experience I highly do not recommend a shop to anybody that's just trying to get their car fixed now they're charging me $1500 to fix my truck i'll because of the boss man read more

this is my first time here. I had a large screw in my tire and needed to get to an app't soon. I stopped in and they were very busy but my tire guage on my dash concerned me that I was unable to go any further so I expected to wait. when they greeted me they would - work work me as soon as feasible - and they sure did. honestly i was out of there in 15 min and I truly appreciated their quick service to my tire. most places would have you wait 1-2 hours or more to "work you in" so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Them! and will most definitely go back again and again! read more

I went in with a low pressured tire because it had a nail in it. I asked for a patch and they charged me $15. They didn't put a patch they put a plug because it was quicker to put but charged me for the patch even though that wasn't what I requested and paid for. If they do this on a small job makes me worry what they would do on a bigger job on my car. read more

they sold me 2015 tires!! on 2021, my toyota celica, I drive it once a week and park it garage. I gave them $3,000.00 for paint job and work on my car, they did not give me a print out on what they did!! I kept asking for it every time I went in. never receive one!! Now when I took it out of garage the brake locked, I had it towed to Eddie's Auto Care on Yucaipa, they send you pictures what's wrong with it!! the best service. They showed and told me my new Tires were OLD and cracked, and a lot of stuff was wrong with my car. Now I'm paying more to get it corrected and repaired, to me Eddie's Auto Care KNOWS WHAT THEIR DOING!! Do not go to GATEWAY !!! they lost my trust and business and my daughter said the same thing. they will never go there again!!! read more

If I could give this place NEGATIVE stars I would! I plan to plaster my honest review all over Facebook and any review site I can finds their actions were highly unprofessional and they took 3 hours of my life. I won't stop until everyone knows how terrible my experience was. I called gateway tires to make an appointment for 2 new truck tires and an alignment. When I made the appointment they said they had the tires available. We arrived this morning at 9 AM and were told the tires are not here yet. They should've never told us they were in stock, however they stated that it would only be 30 to 60 minutes so we agreed to wait. Then when we were grabbing some food the tires arrived however they were trailer tires and not truck tires. Again this isn't their fault that the wrong tires came in, but they should've never told us they had it in stock. We left our phone number with them and instead of calling us to notify us that the 30 to 60 minutes was going to end up being almost 3 hours. Here it is 10 minutes shy of 3 hours later and we are leaving without tires. We had an appointment schedule for 9am. There was no communication with us at all. I had to "get a bit loud," just to convince them to get my truck down and the old tires back on so I can make it to my appointment in Rancho Cucamonga on time. They offered me a $50 discount after this mess but I would rather spend an extra $50 at some other place, than go to this place. Even after I explained I have an important appointment they tried convincing me to wait longer. I think that's a is a very fair review. I acknowledge that many things that happened today was outside of their control, HOWEVER they should have never told me the tires were in stock when they weren't. They should never scheduled me for 9am appointment if they didn't even have tires and they should have called to tell us it would be 3 hours instead of 1. Now I have wasted 3 hours of my time and have nothing to show for it. read more

The guys at Gateway were able to pull out both nails (there was another), put in two patches and get me back on the road very quickly. I appreciated the price -- $15 for two patches. I just got 4 new tires from Gateway, they've always been quick and efficient, and reasonably priced. But they have a guy there who left some kind of grease all over all four of my rims, I imagine when they were fast as they do, they don't wipe their hands. We have been bringing our cars to Gateway for a lot of years and I really should have written this review long ago. Arnold and his team are efficient, well-priced, and honest. A few years ago we bought our car in for what was going to be a $700 fix. Arnold was honest enough to tell us that the dealership would likely fix it for free as the car was still under warranty. Sure enough, we had about 150 miles to go before our warranty expired. He didn't have to tell us. He could have fixed our car and made a lot of money, but he didn't. That's a hard quality to find in a lot of mechanics. More recently, we needed a new set of tires. My family has been coming to Gateway Tire for over 10 years. Arnold is great to work with. I called him on Monday for new tires on my Titan. I told him what I was looking for. He told me he would have them the next day. I went in Tuesday morning He said the tires would be there within the hour and that it would take him about 2 hours to put the tires on and do the wheel alignment. My car was having overheating problems. Arnold said a mechanic supposedly didn't put in a thermostat, (I could still drive it to work) so he and his associate put a thermostat in. After Arnold got done driving he gave me the car back overheating. I stated "It's overheating. I am losing water." According to him he put in water, which was a lie. He told me to drive it like that home with it going to low to high and if it continues to overheat then its a head gasket. Well, hell yes it's a head gasket now that you drove it through the hills for a long time and according to a good mechanic Arnold and his associate put in the thermostat in upside down. Arnold gave me the car back while it was overheating. Ethically wrong! I can't drive it to work now!!! It's worse than ever. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! Shame on them!!! read more

I got my brakes done about a month ago here. The car started making a weird noise. My wife took the car in to get it checked out. When I stopped after work to see what the issue was, to my surprise they had already fixed the car. The service was fast and the best part, it was free. There was no questions asked. I had my tires replaced Thursday. The service was friendly and quick. I came in Tuesday to check prices and availability. They matched the price I had found at a big box (starts with 'W', and actually matches the price of that big online tire website too) on some special order Continentals and would have installed them Wednesday if I could have fit it in my schedule. I have been a customer here before for tires and I recommend them highly. Never used them for their other services, so I can't comment on that. Happy to keep my dollars local. read more
