Love the cheeseburger!! Also tried the homemade chips. Had a refreshing Cesar salad yesterday, light dressing which I liked. Happy this place is in the resort where I'm staying.

We ate here 4 days in a row during our recent visit and loved it! They have a lil bit of everything on their menu and the prices are great.

Hotel bar atmosphere. Service is fine, presentation is nice, but not what I would call sushi fare. Price does not equate atmosphere or food.

She was super attentive, conversational, and went above and beyond. We enjoyed everything we tried, and walked away feeling full but not disgusting because it felt quite healthy Here's what we tried and loved: Cucumbers and Avocado - Healthy and clean Crispy Rice - One of the best apps we've ever had! Chicken Yakatori - The chicken was so tender. Perfect. Sake Usuzukuri - Odd texture at first, but the flavor is salty and unique. Skeptical but ended up really liking it. Oceanside - Such a great roll. Plain tasting at first, but then you taste the savory smoky salmon flavor as it goes down. Super nice progression. Blazing Saddles - Great texture. Little bit of crunch and flavor was great. Firecracker - Our favorite for sure. Everything about it was perfect! 100/10!

We went to Farm & Fire looking for quality food and we found it there along with bay views and great service. My table had salad, steaks, wagyu burgers and crab and artichoke dip. All were quality choices. We were seated in the inside bar area which was nice from the standpoint of having views of the Choctawhatchee Bay. There is also an indoor dining room with table clothes that feels a bit more refined. In addition to watching the bay, we were also able to do a little people watching. The crowd at the outdoor picnic tables enjoying drinks on the edge of the bay also seemed to be having a good time. Our server was awesome. She said it was her second day but I assumed she was a seasoned server for Farm & Fire. She was friendly and attentive and great with all of our questions. She had clearly studied the menu and knew the restaurant. The building has lots of different levels/elevations and stairs. Additionally, a majority of the parking is across the street. For that reason, I wouldn't take someone with limited mobility there but I enjoyed it and I would return.

While waiting, we sat at the bar. I ordered a Paloma. It was tasty and the presentation was nice. However, we saw a cockroach in the straw container on the bar. We told the bar tender and she threw half the straws away. We told her she needed to toss all of them and she did. I couldn't finish my drink after that. The wait was very long. On the phone they told us it would be 20-30 minutes. It was 2 hours. They told us the reason was because another table was overstaying, which didn't make a lot of sense. Our waitress was rude. She was annoyed we wanted separate checks and was very curt. All of us were put off by her attitude. For appetizers, we got the edamame hummus, edamame, Brussels sprouts, and shrimp lettuce wraps. The edamame hummus was weird. It didn't have a ton of flavor and the wasabi peas and ginger on top were just strange. The Brussels sprouts and shrimp wraps were good. The shrimp wrap was probably our favorite app. For my entree, I got Sandor's ravioli. It was good, but not hot. The ravioli was handmade and very cheesy. The fish was perfectly blackened. Unfortunately our bride's steak was undercooked and she didn't want to send it back after the long wait and waitress attitude. I got the key lime pie to go and it took forever to get it. We had to ask another server to get it. It was amazing, but not worth the hold up after an already negative experience. We let the manager know about our experience and while they were very apologetic and offered us a discount, our experience was what it was and we had already paid. I appreciate their acknowledgment and offer to make it right.

Recommendations: Crab Cake…read moreChinese Barbecue Duck We visited Basmati's Asian Cuisine on a Thursday night with a group of six to celebrate Chinese New Year. The atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the staff made the evening special. We started with the Basmati's Pu-Pu Platter, which is a sampling of dumplings, spring rolls, and crab cake. The standout item was definitely the crab cake. It was full of seafood flavoured, while the dumplings and spring rolls were more standard. If you want to try something special, I would recommend ordering the crab cake on its own instead. Next, we had the Firecracker Grouper, a tempura-fried grouper served with a spicy sweet and sour sauce. The fish itself was fresh and nicely fried, but the sauce did not quite work for me. It lacked sweetness and did not enhance the flavor of the fish. Compared to the crab cake, this dish did not have a wow factor. The Chinese Barbecue Duck was a highlight. The duck breast was served on top of a scallion tempura pancake, which made the dish feel creative and innovative. Both the duck and the pancake tasted great. The plating of all the dishes was top notch, and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant also offers outdoor seating, but since it was a bit chilly at night, we decided to dine inside.

They have covered patio seating, which is better and we preferred that. We started with their vegetable spring rolls, volcano sushi rolls and also tried their red curry with chicken and their firecracker grouper. Sushi and spring rolls were delicious. Unfortunately the Thai chicken was over cooked so it was hard to chew. I sent that back and they replaced it with Thai shrimp, which was a lot better. Service was great and our server was really good. He also gave us good recommendations. Overall it was a nice dinner experience and we would be back to try other things. Traveling solo, I…read moregrabbed a seat at the sushi bar at Post 20 and ended up having one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had. I ordered the Chirashi, which here is the chef's choice of sashimi over rice. When it came out, I genuinely felt like I was back in Japan. Every bite was incredible. Sushi chef Justin struck up a conversation and asked if I'd ever tried raw octopus. He had just gotten some in from Japan and offered me a sample. Also incredible. Turns out Justin is one of the owners - super humble and clearly passionate about what they're creating. Blake was awesome too; you could tell he truly loved the art of the craft. They make many of their sauces in-house and thoughtfully pair them with different fish. Blake even has his own creation he calls "Da Sauuce." I've had omakase in Hawaii and sushi in Japan, and I can honestly say this was the best sushi experience I've ever had. The quality, value, and interaction with the staff made it feel truly special. Justin said he wants the place to have that old Cheers TV show feeling - the kind of place where everybody knows your name and you instantly feel like a regular. I certainly felt that. I'm honestly jealous of the locals who get to call this place their regular spot.

Everything tasted the fresh & was enjoyable. With that being said.. the ramen! It was actually REALLY GOOD! The portion was HUGE! And it was packed with flavor. I've traveled all over Asia and lived in SoCal for 8 years so I'd say I've had it all. This stuff was pretty freaking good. Could it be improved? Yes I'm sure. But it was awesome. The ambiance was nice. It felt very local off the beaten path. It was a darker setting which was nice to take the stress off the eyes and feel like you get a bit of privacy. I only went once but had I known it was this good I probably would have been back multiple times over the two weeks I was in town. Little pricy but for the portions and quality i think it's worth it.
