Tried ordering through Amazon Restaurants. When my food showed up only 1/3 of it arrived. After going back and fourth between Amazon Restaurants and Gator's, it is hard to determine who is really at fault for the food being partially delivered. I just felt like I was caught in the middle between the restaurant and Amazon when this mistake happened and at the end of the day all I really wanted was my dinner. Eventually Amazon made right on their end and Gator's did too. At the time I was stuck going elsewhere for dinner and ate much later than expected. read more

So this is one of those places that everyone meets up at to hang out, watch sports, and eat greasy food. My husband loves all you can eat wing night on Mondays, but the servers are very slow to come around for re-orders, and the wings are much smaller than what you can get at other wing places. The food is just not my style--greasy, cheesy, heart attack type food--and the service is generally slow and the restaurant is noisy. Just not my cup of tea. read more

Gators has a beautiful outdoor deck and an open patio that faces Lake Baldwin. It is primarily a sports bar but it also has food and welcomes families. A lot of people like the wings and I thought the wings were good with the scooter sauce. My server Megan was very nice and attentive. We were also visited at our table by the manager which was very nice. They have a new menu since last time I went and you can really tell the difference. read more

Food is great. Called to place my take out order for dinner at 5 so I could pick my food up for dinner at 630. I was told to call back closer to when I wanted the food.... so basically I have to continue calling back and have perfect timing to get my dinner when I want it because they're unable to have a scheduled pickup? So you're telling me that for super bowl Sunday, I can't call a few days in advance for a catering order? Much less accommodate my order that I'm requesting 2 hours early?... The sauces for the wings were watered down or just too light. We had to wait an hour to be seated, and then 35 mins to be served. The second and third rounds of wings took a long time as well. The waitress was not attentive at all, forgot an order, and she didn't exhibit any concern when we complained that some of the wings were kind of raw. Overall not a good experience. As a local resident in Baldwin Park, Gator's is a regular favorite - OK food, good service (we sit at the bar when seats available) and close to home. There are often children near the bar playing on video games and they can become loud and unruly - noone seems to watch them, parents or restaurant staff...and we have seen potential situations where a child could be hurt. A polite words to the parents would be most appreciated - or move the video games away from the bar and adult patrons. Also - keep an eye on what is showing on the TV's - noone wants to eat while watching bloody boxing matches. There are always managers around, so please look up occasionally and keep your guests comfortable. Great bar staff - always welcoming and keeping an eye on an empty glass. read more

The worst service I have ever experienced! They held a table for 40 people that never showed up as our party of 9 waited over and hour. We saw them seat a party of 7 at a high top near the bar that was set for 4 of the party of 40 yet they refused to let us sit to get food. We waited patiently for over an hour spending money at the bar but wouldn't let us sit at one of their 8 open tables. I spoke to 3 managers who gave me the worst response ever that was totally disrespectful. I will never eat at this place! Complete garbage. read more

I'm a Baldwin Park resident and used to be a regular at Gators. My husband and I would come several times a month for a sandwich or some wings with some tasty drinks. The staff was always friendly before. We really enjoyed Gator's and it kind of pains me to write this review, however I am doing so in the hope that a manager will see it and step up his/her game. The past three times my husband and I have visited Gators this year, we walked out before being seated (the last time being this past weekend, we were hoping maybe just maybe things had gotten better!). All three times, the restaurant was not packed and there was plenty of seating. The hostesses/waitresses have made us feel like we are a burden by being impolite and uncouth to us as soon as we walk in. They don't smile at you when you come in, they don't greet you in a friendly way, and they will walk off to "look" for a table and never come back leaving another staff member to come over and do the same exact thing. It sets a very bad precedent when your customers feel offended just for coming in to dine at your establishment. Maybe we have just been unlucky, but please work on training your staff to treat your customers with a little more respect. We started to notice the service slipping mid-last year (it was much better before that, and Stirling was our favorite server!). That being said, every time I have eaten here before, I've enjoyed the food and if I ever had an issue it was promptly taken care of. I had their Philly cheesesteak and it literally hit the spot. They were kind enough to let me switch the fries that come with it with a different side, which was the potato salad. Came to watch the steelers with my familly and they said we couldn't be seated because of people sitting around watching the game. So I guess the people loitering inside are more important than myself (a paying customer). I figured we would suck it up and eat outside. The bartender ignored me completely as I asked for a drink and the waitress came out after 45 mins. We decided to not spend money at all here because they wouldn't even play the game we wanted to see. Why would I ever come back to this place? I wish there was a negative star rating. Great wings. They were delicious! Got breaded wings in Thai chili and chipotle BBQ. Good place for beers, wings and football.

Would have had a more enjoyable evening if the outside table we sat at wasn't broken. Our waitress knew it was broken and instead of moving us just said sorry. I would have rather you told us no outside was available then sit us at a broken table. UPDATE came back the next day with friends from out of town. Hostess remembered us. Hands down the best wings in Florida. I've been coming to this place for years now, and I will not stop. Monday's all you came at for $11 is well worth it! The bar here is amazing. My wife and I come here all the time and each time Lacy the bartender remembers us and our drink order (I swear we don't come here often enough for the to be taken for granted). This was the first time I'd ever been there me n my husband got fried gator tails for an appetizer they were not good.. No flavor very tough and chewy breading kept falling off and they looked boiled. For an entrée My husband got the Mac and cheese burger it was very dry and had no flavor as well. I got the Alfredo with shrimp it had tomatoes and green onions in it, it was ok but it was missing a good amount of salt, & there were so many shrimps in it. Take into account that I LOVE seafood but this was just to much! In conclusion the reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because I kinda liked my food. read more

To start, we waited about thirty minutes before anyone ask to ask what we wanted to eat. I didn't mind because the waitress was really sweet, i understand it gets busy. I work in hospitality so I'm pretty observant when it comes to customer service. We put our order of wings in and it took about 15 minutes to come out, they had about 30 tables, only about 10 of them were seated so to say it's because they were busy wouldn't be correct. Since it was "all you can eat" they wouldn't let us put two order in until our first our came out. Then there was a spil, I get it, it's not your fault, but don't you think the right thing to do would be to let us put two orders in so we weren't wait 40 minutes for 2 orders of wings? One of the people at our table asked for the waitress to ask her manager to allow this exception for us. He did of course, because like I said it's the right thing to do... but here comes the worst part about my expierence. The MANAGER Scott, he came over and stated "I heard someone needed to talk to he manager". This is appalling, he didn't even tell us his name, I had to ask one of the other servers what his name was. We told him we had been here for 1 hour and 20 minutes (Estimating time because obviously we were unsure of exact minutes) and we had only been served 2 rounds of wings... he then rebuttled "Actually, it's been 1 hour and 12 minutes, I already checked the times". Is this a joke? I found it very disrespectful to say the least at his lack of customer service. Our waitress was amazing, and she was the best part of our visit. LOVE this place. Go-to sports bar for NFL ticket or any sports games. Delicious menu. I love the fried egg burger or the Mac and cheese burger. Their beer towers on game days are like $12-steal! Only downfall is how packed t gets but that's expected. If you're planning to go to the early games, get there at least by 12! Super friendly service.
