    Cacio e pepe

I came here twice. Once late at night and once during happy hour. Both times I sat at the bar. Excellent and attentive service. The bartenders I had were great. It's a restaurant inside a swanky hotel. It had a cat theme and is clean and inviting. The chairs at the bar are surprisingly comfy. An overall nice ambiance and vibe. What let me down was the food. Now this may have just been because of my selections. But I have the cacio e pepe (one of my fav pasta dishes) to wholly unappetizing. It was gluey. Bad texture and did not taste good.

This review is long overdue. We were displaced from our home and lived at the Warwick for three weeks last winter. In this time, we ate at Gattara just about every single day. I could probably review almost every item on the menu at this point but I'll pick out some highlights. Beet Salad Caesar Salad Pesto Gnocchi Diavola Pizza Short Rib Sandwich My friends really enjoyed the steak, burger, soups, tiramisu. Now for the best thing, BREAD PUDDING. I don't even need to explain. Just get it. The bar area is really cozy. They've got a ton of tables as well. Brendan & Sadie, thank you for treating us like family. We will be back.

Since the somewhat disappointing experience a year or so ago, I gave this place another try today. Although the service wasn't still not up to par (the lady who assisted me today was good but it wasn't excellent in any way), I can comfortably say that I enjoyed their food. I had the same thing as the last time: the meatballs. I tell you, depending on where to go, some places over-salt their meatballs where your blood pressure spikes up so high up even after one bite (what an exaggeration!!) And yet, this place knows how to make good meatballs. If I go ahead and tell you what kind of meatballs I don't like, I don't like ones that are salty, hard ones that cannot be split with a fork or knife, have eggy smell (or almost fishy smell). Gattara's meatballs have NONE of that. And yet they are not bland in any way. Meatballs are something I try and eat when I dine out only (I don't make them at home ever). I've been to more than 10 different places in search for good meatballs and I must say that Gattara does the best in making them. For that reason, I have a reason to go back here whenever I crave for them. Along with my meatballs, I had the house salad (side) and the drip coffee. I should have asked for the balsamic vinaigrette on the side as when it came out, it was already all over salad. They used (unfortunately) a bit too much dressing. The green leaves (however) tasted fresh. I also liked the coffee. Based on my today's lunch dining experience, I guess I can up the rating from 3 stars to 4 stars but this is mostly because of the wonderful meatballs I had. I, at least had the whole place to myself because today is/was a holiday and I got to the restaurant right when it opened at 11am. Best time to dine to get a full attention.

Had a fantastic meal last night with some amazing appetizers including chicken wings, and some delicious shrimp. Also got the burrata and pepperoni pizza. But the star of the meal was the short rib pasta and the mocktails. Great service, beautiful patio and connected to the Warwick hotel. Pro tip: Go during their amazing happy hour

Bland, over priced, and odd. My friend and I dined here for New Year's Eve and every aspect of the meal was disappointing. The wine was bad. My branzino dish came as a full fish even though the menu did NOT indicate that. A full fish isn't necessarily an issue (although I still would want to know that's what I'm ordering), but picking out tiny fish bones from my mouth at every bite is. And everything on my plate was terribly under seasoned. My friend's pasta allá vodka was over cooked and a small portion. Probably cost the restaurant $3 in ingredients yet was $28. On top of the bad food and wine, the service was weird. I do not recommend.

Went here for a business lunch. It was ok. Timing of the plates was funky I got my burger about 10 mins later than everyone else. The burger for $25 was a little underwhelming, it wasn't juicy but had a weird earthy undertone. The service was a little slow and awkward. When I was leaving to the door the waiter asked me if I was going to the bathroom, when a handful of group members were still seated. After I left, one of the colleagues asked for a Togo box for the pizza. What was offered was comedically small. Overall the service and food could use some fine tuning. The Ff&e are nice just could use a little bit of activation.

I love a chatty, knowledgeable server - great recommendations from the wine and food menus. Nice restaurant and atmosphere. Chill but not snooty. The antipasti we ordered was delightful. Nice-sized portion of the pappardelle bolognese was nicely presented and yummy. Only sad that I was too full for dessert!

Gattara is an absolute gem--charmingly cute with a light, tasteful cat theme that adds personality without being over the top. The service was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which really elevated the experience. The restaurant is clean, with plenty of seating that makes it equally suitable for a large group gathering or an intimate dinner. While the finish on the tables may give the illusion they're not clean, they definitely are. The food was excellent across the board. The Burrata di Parma was creamy and indulgent, with a generous portion of prosciutto that balanced it perfectly. The pizza was beautifully made with a nicely done crust, just a bit soft in the middle as is common with thin crusts. The braised short rib with fresh pasta was rich, tender, and deeply satisfying. Drinks were made perfectly--flavorful, balanced, and clearly crafted with care. Gattara nails both atmosphere and execution. I'd definitely go back.

Very cute cat themed Italian inspired restaurant. Perfect for girls night or a date. The desserts were really unique and delicious, and the fettuccine Alfredo and Caesar salad were another highlight. Our server was great too!

I was looking for a brunch spot in ended up landing at Gattara !! Looks were quite deceiving. How small it looks like from the outside . I was quite surprised as to how much space was actually in there how many tables and it was quite roomy. Their menu wasn't very extensive, but it definitely had a good variety of things to choose from. I ordered the oatmeal for some reason I was just in the mood for oatmeal, even though I wanted to order an eggs Benedict, which my friend did order the avocado eggs Benedict, which I tried, which was very delicious as well as the oatmeal was extremely delicious.. For lunch/dinner they have brick fire pizza and their selection non alcoholic/ alcoholic drinks look amazing ! The mimosa with cranberry juice was Bonn !!! The staff was super nice quick and efficient .and the ambiance was very welcoming and comfortable !

We made a reservation ahead of time but it was fairly quiet that evening due to being a snowy winter day probably. We ordered the burrata to start and also meatballs. The meatballs were super tender. Very good and came with some toasty bread. The burrata came with lots of things and crusty olive oil bread. It was also good but the burrata seemed smaller than I expected. I got the pappardelle bolognese. It also had a meatball on top! I can tell that the pasta was fresh and it was delicious. I had enough for three servings! This restaurant is super cute with a cool vibe in it. It's attached to a hotel and it's just street parking. The weird thing also is that if you have to use the restroom - you have to walk quite far into the hotel to do so.

It was purrrr-fect! I saw a fun tiktok on this place and was so happy to go during my birthday! I booked the reservation online through the app, Open Table. The offer complimentary valet but there was plenty of street parking when I arrived. Street parking was free after 6pm :) When we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly hello and friendly energy! The host took us to our table and we all couldn't help but noticed the decor was all cat themed. Some subtle and some obvious. It was fun and cute and trendy! Our waitress was fast and attentive! Very knowledgeable of the menus as well! I got the pesto gnocchi and added chicken. My friends all got fun pasta dishes! My pesto was absolutely amazing! The sauce was hot and fresh! The gnocchi tasted fabulous as well! The chicken was cooked and lightly seasoned. All the flavors blended so well together. The portion sizes were great too! My friends said they all loved their pastas as well! We all got a little dessert. I got the vanilla gelato. It was sweet just delicious! I definitely want to go back and try something new from their menu!

When we arrived, most of the covered seating and heater areas were already taken, so we ended up sitting in one of the uncovered sections. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. The lounge had a lively but relaxed energy, and people were friendly and approachable. It felt like the kind of place where you could enjoy a date, meet new people, network, or simply unwind with friends over drinks and conversation. My date ordered food, but I honestly don't remember everything he had. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, but since this is a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere was really the star of the show for me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return for the views, the social atmosphere, the drinks, and the opportunity to meet interesting people. Perfect for: Date nights, networking, socializing, drinks with friends, and enjoying Denver's skyline.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. Price: This is the most budget-friendly spot I've found in the area. Almost everything is $5! It is CASH ONLY, but don't worry if you forget. They have an ATM inside for you to use. Drink: I ordered the Continental, which is their take on an Old Fashioned with a black cherry. It was delicious and definitely didn't taste like a cheap drink despite the price point. Service: Despite how packed it was, the service was incredibly fast. We got our drinks in maybe 2-3 minutes tops. The staff is efficient and friendly. Overall Experience: Whether you're visiting and staying near Union Station or just looking for a fun local getaway, I highly recommend this place. We walked from our hotel, but if you drive, be prepared to look for street parking or a garage. It's fun, cheap, and has great theme nights. I'll definitely be back!
