Service from walking in to walking out was horrible! "Cheyenne A" according to my receipt, was completely & utterly nasty to everyone that entered. They "stole my baby's little money & also told my friend she had to leave because she wasn't eating although her 5 year old grandson was!! What is she supposed to do? LEAVE HIM?? I expressed my disappointment & disbelief in how they treated my 10 year old & she "Cheyenne A" immediately told me to "get the f*** out of HER store!". I've taken many out of towners there through the years & this was the absolute worst! The floors were nasty & roaches at the baseboards. I'm so disappointed in this place!! I don't ever bash a business on Fb but tonight at Mr. Gattis in New Iberia my granddaughter wanted to go to Mr. Gattis as her Birthday dinner with all our family and my friend and I because we were not eating were asked to leave because we did not buy a buffet! We had eaten prior to going and was not going to pay for a meal and not eat! So now I don't get to spend time with my grands because of a lil B$$ch . And not to mention I was going to spend money in the game room for all my Grands! I'm so angry right now!! I will never go back there! I would never treat people the way they did!! read more

I have lived in New Iberia basically all of my life. I can't even count how many times I have eaten at Mr Gatti's. I have 6 kids and they LOVE going eat at Mr Gatti's. Tonight was the last time I will ever walk through the doors. We walked in and stood at the counter waiting to pay. Not a problem they were all working to make pizza. They girl comes up and i tell her how many people. She gives me a total. I take a $100 dollar bill out of my purse. (That's all I had on me at the moment). They girl tells me I don't "think" I have change for that. She never took the time to check. How is it almost 7pm and you don't "think" you have change for that? Never will I ever waist my time at this place. Countless birthday parties. Many family dinners. They could be the only place in town open and this tired momma would rather go home and cook than deal with thinking I'm going to get an easy night off from the stove only for some teenage to tell me she doesn't "think" she has change. this is my first experience with Mr. Gatti's pizza. A construction superintendent have traveled the road for the past 26 years. I got away from home about 280. This is by far the worst pizza, buffet and salad I have ever experienced and I have traveled all over the beach people have your check out bunch of young kids very inexperienced, rude full attitude, cursing, and customer service I do believe is leaks to their concern. We got in there at 7:10 after having our salad made for us a piece of plexiglass. It's not considered a salad bar self serve one of your employees has to make yourself disappointed. The gentleman did not even wear gloves the pasta sauce tasted like canned tomato sauce with a little bit of hamburger added to it and a few Italian seasonings. We asked for a combination pizza at 7:10. Went back up at 7:35 and asked if our pizza was ready oh, we didn't make that, we don't make pizza within 45 minutes of the store closing posted about that was not told about that when we paid a bunch of nasty pizza crushed hard as a dog milk pizza on the buffet. I've been several pizzas put together on the pizza sheet, I'm talking four or five different flavors of pizza on one cookie sheet , the crust was hard enough to break the tooth I do a Google review and I get this computer generated reply from the owner like he's so concerned there's nothing personal about it. Just trying to appease Jon. This was my first and last visit you would have more luck, shaving a badger balls than you would ever getting me, spend my money at such a sorry establishment CiCi's has much better ingredients and pizza at a better price and a better product. Very good pizza fresh, hot I'm not a fan of the crust taste cheap. Toppings sausage and cheese fully loaded. Wings were delicious, mix and match flavors are optionable. Only Problem I asked for Ranch dressing I was given a cup of ranch dressing that looked old; like water and milk. Ewww! But overall everything was ok. read more

This place has changed an not for the good. Went with my brother and his family to celebrate his youngest birthday last night. She turned 6 and this is where she wanted to go. Pizza and games. We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children 10 and under youngest being 6. We brought a small cake and a small king cake with us. We did not see the sign about no outside food to be brought in. Well most of the adults went and found a table not very busy. My brother and I went to the counter he paid for everyone. He dropped $100. For all of us to eat. This was 6:30 to 6:45. We all ate the children wanted cake after eating we cut the cake and ate that. Then they come around to clean the table and the manager was polite with my brother she stated they close at 8:00 pm and would like to get the dirty dishes in the kitchen. She also told him we were not supposed to bring in cake, that was against the rules. He asked if they served cake and the answer was no. He was very polite and asked that the owner / manager give him a call to discuss this. My answer is an easy one. Don't go back. A little background on me I worked there when they opened under different management back in 1979. I worked there until 1988. Will I go back Hell No! When I was there we did offer a small generic cake for people celebrating birthdays. They are limiting their ability to sell to families with food allergies. read more

UNSANITARY RESTAURANT! If I could I would give a -5 Star review. I cannot even begin to say all the disgusting things I saw. The bathrooms are HORRID. The smell is enough to burn your lungs from old pee. The toilets have pee all over them to include the floors. The air vents are clogged an backed up. There is no paper towels to dry your hands but at least they have a hand blower to dry your hands but you would have to touch it first. The cooks (if that's what you want to call them) do not have hairnets while making pizza. Not one person has clean hands an no one is wearing gloves. witnessed one Lady LICK her fingers then touched the cooked pizza then put it on the Buffett. Main area to eat, the floors were trashy, there were spills that we're not cleaned up or at least an hour. This place needs to be shutdown in many more ways than one! read more

This place has been here for as long as I can remember. And I really hope they close soon with the service my family and I received on our last visit. My family and relatives showed up a little after 7 to celebrate my son's last day of school and last tball game we paid for out meal but noticed that there weren't many pizza to choose from and the one that were up there were cold so we proceed to get our salad and eat that first hoping that this would give it time to restock. In the time we finished our salad the only thing fresh they put out was a pepperoni pizza so we got that and asked if more was coming out, and we were told that they were working on to-go orders. So we waited and they put out yet another pepperoni and a sausage and that was it they never put out anymore then were told that they were closing at 8:30 and needed to finish up so we will never be going back ever again. read more

If you come to mr gattis because you like the pizza then your expectations aren't to high. You come for the kids to play games or b day parties. The pizza not much better than frozen pizza read more
