I have been a long time client of this Autonation Toyota…read more Originally I had tried to contact this location 3x requesting a callback from my service advisor so I may get some base line pricing on services I needed like an overall checkup, an oil change, and possible breaks. After 3 times attempting to contact this location, and receiving no callback I wrote a 1 star review and drove over to speak with someone personally. This is where I met my new service advisor Jonathan. He immediately heard me out, understood my frustrations and jumped to providing me some base line pricing. He went further to see if he could get me scheduled with an appointment to complete the check up and oil change. I went home and deleted my review, as I now knew I was set up with a new advisor and in good hands. I dropped my truck off the following day at 7:30am and Jonathan was there to greet me. He made sure to share a phone number with me right away that also left the window open for text messages. He contacted me around noon to let me know my truck was overall in good health but that I was going to need new front and rear breaks. He let me know that with the weight of my vehicle I should get them fixed before I head out for my road trip. We made a plan to do other recommended services in increments. We moved forward with the repairs. He contacted me within just a few hours to let me know my truck was ready for pick-up. When I arrived, Reya greeted me at the cashier department and was warm and inviting. She was able to get me processed and out the door quickly. It's important to celebrate when a company has great team members. Jonathan is a critical reason why I came back to this Toyota location and not another.

An appointment was made, nearly 2hrs later my car still is not at the inspection phase of things…read more Not sure if they're lacking on employees or what but this is ridiculous and it costs so much! Please not be the new normal *Edit* Told 'after' that brakes take much longer than the usual stuff and they weren't updating the website so I could follow along. Paid 450 (with a coupon) for the front ones to be replaced. Feels like a lot for a little considering my brother had to get his entirely replaced due to grinding down his brakes and he paid 500 for it all. Anyway, spent 3.5hrs at this place and there goes 450 so you've been warned

Trust this shop at your PERIL…read more Skip to the bulleted list if you want to see what they did to me. Read the rest to see how they (didnt) take care of me after. Spoke to Lonnie, one of the techs a week in advance of coming in (Monday) about what I needed done. My wife and I were buying a bus to drive back to Jersey, and are making it our new home. It had a coil code for coil 3 and some misfiring. She gave me all kinds of confidence being a fleet mechanic for 20 years and knowing alot about my motor, and I really can't believe where I am now, from the initial conversations we had. I paid over $1100 for 1 coil, a full inspection for safe cross country travel, and 10 new spark plugs - they didn't need to be done but she offered, and I know my motor can have plug issues - I figured - what the hell, she's the person for the job, better get them done when it's in the hands of someone with deep experience. I was charged $135 for just the coil. The two mechanics I had to visit after to do her job properly, laughed at me when they heard how much I paid for the whole thing. The "work" they did was "completed" on Wednesday, and we drove off. Here's the meat of this whole thing: - we broke down 50 miles from her shop, blowing out 2 spark plugs, and ruining a coil - had to get towed which cost $786 due to after hours charges and lack of local availability after being stuck on the side of the highway with my wife and tractor trailers zooming by - discovered the oil was LOW and DIRTY after Lonnie advised me to drive it home to jersey, and just get it done then - discovered ALL of the sparkplugs were loose that she did, except for ONE. And that's because... SHE DIDNT DO IT! It was the only tight sparkplug, and was clearly very old, and not the same brand that she charged me for - the sparkplugs were so loose and letting so much compression out, they all looked old despite being new. Except for the one she didn't do... - saw that most of my coil connectors were broken (what even got checked??) - discovered most of the coils were bad or going bad - saw clear as day that my drive belt was cracked and dried out - desperately needed a new fuel filter (once again, why this wasn't checked and recommended, I do not know) - had misfires in multiple cylinders - found out she didn't even know what motor I had which was likely the cause of the faulty sparkplug installation I paid a premium, premium price for work that ultimately hurt my motor more than it helped it. It's worse than throwing money away - I paid to hurt my engine. Luckily, it is not ruined. But I am now $1,350 in additional mechanic bills, and $786 in a tow deep in this mess they created. Not to mention, the extreme delays they have caused in getting me home to jersey, which will result in a fine if I'm not able to get home before my move out date. I was supposed to be home Saturday morning... Here's where it gets worse - on Thursday morning, when I got it re-diagnosed, I spoke to Lonnie - extremely respectfully, not assuming any fault til I had the full story. She told me to call back once it got checked out and be careful of those guys taking advantage of me.. lol. I called back after they looked at it and informed her I would be sending an email in the next 5 minutes that would outline everything I found, how it impacted me and what I expected Workmans to do, and to please read it and call me back. No call back... Called their shop again Thursday, was given the excuse that she was at another shop. Called back again Friday - was told she was at another shop again, and received an email with nothing but a NAPA insurance claim form. I wrote another email explaining that if I was not addressed today (Friday), that my handling of the situation was going to change drastically. Finally got a call this TUES morning and amidst a sea of excuses, was left with "I'll pass the information to the owner" I really, really dislike having to take this route - but when someone does you this dirty and won't take care of you after, that's exactly what the DMV and the courts are for.
