Part of my gas pipe was buried outside under the soil which is where the leak was. Raul advised me of all options to repair it. My small complex of eight condominiums experienced a water leak one week ago. Multiple plumbers were called, and several came out to provide an estimate. Gava's Rooter's estimate was very reasonable, and we gave Raul a shot. Raul sent over Angel and a couple other team members on the agreed upon day. The leak was coming from beneath the common use concrete driveway, and it was a bad leak. Raul and Angel explained to me a number of factors that contribute to such a leak. Angel worked super hard. He fixed the leak. Then he found a second crack in the pipe. He fixed that too. Then a third leak, and then a fourth leak. Angel was out there 12 hours that day, dripping sweat on a hot Saturday. That dude has some serious work ethic. Because the pipe was too corroded, a temporary fix was applied. Raul himself came out with the team on Monday and replaced a section of the soft copper pipe used by the condo developer with hard copper pipe that he guaranteed for one year. Raul and Angel both were thorough in updating me with their findings and returning my calls and texts. Despite the extra work--FOUR leaks--they stuck to their original estimate, busting concrete and all. When all others were on vacation and closed, I gave Greg a call and he was here exactly the time he said he would come for my emergency. The day before New Year's Eve my mainline decided to start leaking massive amounts of water. Greg came out and was very understanding of my problem. He did a temporary fix so we could at least safely leave the water on and we had full use of water inside the house. The temporary fix allows me time to find bids for replacement of the line, although I will likely have it done by Greg and his people at Gava Rooter since he was honest and straight forward with what needed to be done. Greg is the man. I got to know him through yelp and Due to my other plumber that flaked on me and thank god he did. Greg stands by his work. He goes above and beyond to satisfy its customers. I have had two works with Greg so far. I own a rental property in Whittier. Leaky galvenized drain pipe under the kitchen. Greg wanted to come the same day thats how much he cares about his customers while other top rated yelp plumbers were not answering their phones and thank God they did not. There was puddle of water under the house, gnats were everywhere. Greg had to get the restoration guy to make conditions workable for him. which is totally reasonable as I did not either want him to drown lol since he told me he could not swim. Anwayz the cleanup guy did great job and Greg went in there the following day replaced the busted pipe with black pvc pipe. However greg also discovered more leaks further along the old pipe. He told my tenant that he will be back tomorrow to replace extra section of pipe. I would like to mention that This was extra work for Greg which he did not charge me anything for it. Since he did not want me to have more problems in future. Greg went above and beyond to meet my expectations because he cares about his job and customers. He does not upsell stuff and his rates are beyond resonable. I had a leaky grabage disposal ( twice in last 3 montha)called Greg and I asjed for his recommendation on Which one to buy. I honesty don't know how I was lucky enough to find him! He came out to unclog a shower drain which has to be done from the roof top as we have no clean out.. He quoted me 150.00. He fixed it by going through the drain and charged me $65 he also went on top of my roof and found three leaks and wanted to come back by to show my husband. He showed up the very next day with supplies to fix the roof and only asked for the amount he spent. I wrote him a check for $225.oo total thinking the main drain was still $150 he said I can't take this it's way to much!!! Who does that these days! We agreed on $125 and I was very happy!
