Elevated yet comfortable dining experience. Decor and furniture are very stylish, warm, inviting, and not overly formal. Service was excellent from start to finish, attentive without being intrusive. Food wise, the short rib croquettes were good. I'll have to try the salmon cakes next time. Highly recommend the French dip sandwich - it was delicious! The steak salad was cooked perfectly, and the spinach dip was solid. The highlight of the meal was DEFINITELY the Pistachio Tres Leches! One of the best (if not the best) tres leches I've had! Overall, a great spot for date night, catching up with friends, or to work remotely. Only reason for 4 stars is that a few dishes, while good, didn't completely wow compared to the standout items. Still, I will 100% come back especially for the tres leches!

Great experience and great food! Met up with friend, tried the salmon, chocolate cheesecake and the Come fly away drink. Salmon was perfectly cooked, the sweet potato strings lacked flavor, while the kale was super flavorful and nicely cooked. The chocolate cheesecake was amazing!!!! Highly recommend! The fly away drink was good! Definitely want to explore more of the whole menu! Our server was top notch and the place was pleasant and relaxing! Already looking forward to my next visit!

Really good experience and excellent service! I loved the burger. I can't remember a better one. Tasted like quality meat and the bun and toppings were executed perfectly just like the fries. The steak crostini and short rib croquettes were good but not great. I didn't enjoy the tuna tataki. It had bbq sauce on it which was weird. Our son enjoyed the deviled eggs - I did not. Our other son loved the tomato basil soup. They give you "one" tiny crouton for it. Not sure why. The service and patio were great. We'd eat there again!

Excellent restaurant choice for our friends get together. The service was top notch. Such nice people. The restaurant is beautiful, it was actually the reason it beat out another restaurant we were considering, but in person it was even more perfect than the pictures. The cocktails and wine selection are both great. The food is delicious. Nothing was less than perfect. The salmon cakes, short rib croquettes, and tuna Tataki were all so good. It is hard to pick a favorite. Those that had salads loved them. The Salmon was amazing, especially the sauce. I loved the kale and the sweet potatoes chips gave it a little crunch. Nicolle was our waitress and we all loved and appreciated her. Let's not forget the delicious coquito and White Chocolate Bread Pudding and Pistachio Tres Leche for for dessert. From cocktails at the bar to the final bite of dessert we loved it.

I google searched best steak near me and Bavette's topped the list so of course I had to come for dinner! I had looked at the menu online so I wouldn't be too surprised and ended up ordering the BVT Steak and Fries. I had read it was "wet-aged" for 50 days but didn't know exactly what that meant. I had only ever had dry-aged before but I love steak so what the heck! Welp! It just means it's been marinated. For a long long time. So the steak itself was super juicy, well cooked, but pretty flavorless. Definitely not my kind of steak - I prefer the char grilled flavor with some good ole seasoning or butter/garlic flavor. This was a juicy, bland steak with minimal hints of pineapple. The shoe string French fries though were incredible and highly addicting! I could've eaten a whole 'nother plate of just those! The service was also phenomenal, my server was very professional, had the nicest smile and overall very kind! Since I came for an earlier dinner on a Tuesday the restaurant was fairly empty but the staff was super attentive and interactive with all of their tables which was really great to see

Wow. Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. The bartender had impeccable skills as well as the chef. All of my cocktails were delicious and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place and intend on coming back.

Bavette is a new favorite! The ambiance is sophisticated and upscale, with tasteful ambient lighting and unique touches like a chess set and hefty legal volumes. Our group of five was seated at a beautiful elevated circular booth with supple leather upholstery. The service was excellent, very kind and considerate. We got the short rib croquettes as an appetizer and were impressed by the fact that even their ketchup is made in-house. The croquettes were delicious and juicy, complemented by a crusted parmesan shell. For entrees, I got the seared ahi salad, and others in my group opted for rice pilaf with salmon, seared ahi sandwich, and the burger. All the ingredients in my salad tasted fresh and the ahi tuna cubes were tender and generously cut. Everyone was pleased with their dishes and we will likely return in the future!

    #### DISRESPECTFUL SERVER ALERT #### Everything went very well until the server, Kenneth F, showed us the bad attitude he had. He did not greet us, not polite to us, educated us on everything in mean way, made up comments in front of me that are not made by me at all., took my coke away without asking....... When I gave him my card, he turned around and thanked my husband without regarding me. AM I INVISIBLE? The restaurant is nice, the host is lovely, everyone else I met who works there is amazing. I hope that all tips go to every single one except HIM! I am wondering if the management knows they put a very bad guy to serve their customers. I'd say your customers deserve better service so please keep the grumpy guy out of customers.

Wow, what an excellent surprise. The French dip was excellent as were the short rib croquettes. The bread pudding dessert was sumptuous. However all that was surpassed by the stellar service. We'll be back.

We recently dined here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and were very impressed! We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. The food and drinks were excellent, service was great and ambiance was warm and inviting! The decor is beautiful and they actually grow fresh herbs onsite. Our server (Kenneth) did a fine job and made sure we were well taken care of. If you're looking for a nice, upscale American cuisine restaurant, be sure to check out Bavette Grill. I recommend the short rib croquettes, salmon cakes, and the salmon nut berry salad.

If your looking for the perfect espresso martini and steak, Bavette grill is the place! Started off with the salmon cakes and the remoulade sauce that comes with it is dellicous! For entree got the BVT steak and fries and the short rib. The short rib with the sauce was my favorite! The sauces that come with the food elevate everything. Of course ended the night with a chocolate cheesecake and their homemade Coquito to toast the night!

This place is fantastic. The aesthetic of the interior was beautiful and well put together. Ethan is the manager, and he was so accommodating to my family and our dog we had with us. They set us up out on the patio; had a water bowl ready for our dog. Kenneth was our server, and he was so kind & personal! We had the short rib croquettes as an appetizer; fantastic! Definitely order those and try them! We ordered the redfish & shrimp, chicken sandwich, burger, & pork wrapped medallions. My family and I were so busy enjoying our meal, we were not talking to each other! This place is amazing. You have got to come check them ou They offer so many gluten free options as well!!! We will be back. Thank you Ethan & Kenneth for the wonderful experience!

I had a great experience at Bavette Grill. The service was great, and our server made recommendations and clarified any questions we had about the menu. The food came out at reasonable times. I believe that the food and drinks were reasonably priced and were less expensive compared to other similar restaurants in the area. Nice ambiance. Great for a date night or to catch up with family and friends. We got the Short Rib Croquettes, Side Salad, Chili Glazed Chicken, Short Rib Steak, and Atlantic Salmon. All of which were delicious and well seasoned. I was worried that the chicken would be spicy, but it wasn't! The portions were perfectly sized and we left without leftovers! The bread pudding was yummy but I've honestly had better. Was upset that it didn't come with ice cream on top but instead came with whipped cream. As for parking, there's plenty of lot parking.

I am allergic to soybeans in every form, including soybean oil in fry oil, mayonnaise, commercial salad dressings, and margarine. Please check your ingredients and let me know if I could get a complete meal? Is the burger soy free?

I'd avoid restaurants altogether and learn to cook so you can control what you can or cannot eat.

The selection is thoughtfully curated, with robust flavors and quality ingredients. I ordered the Wood Grilled Shrimp, a House Salad with added Salmon, a glass of Moscato, and a slice of Cheesecake for dessert. My entire ticket was under $80 which I thought was a great value for the quality and experience! And I have to give a special shoutout to my waiter, CJ! He was such a delight and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and the flavors. One thing I've noticed at many restaurants is that the waitstaff sometimes doesn't seem to actually eat where they work , so I really appreciate when a server can genuinely speak on the food and make recommendations with confidence. I'll definitely be visiting again! Great food, great service, and a beautiful ambiance.

We fully understood that we were early and were told that we had been checked in and that our table would be ready closer to our reservation time. We had absolutely no issue with that. While waiting, we found an area near the bar and ordered appetizers and drinks, spending close to $300 before we were ever seated for dinner. At approximately 8:20 p.m., after our reservation time had passed and we had received no update, we approached the host stand to make sure they knew we were still waiting. We were told that they were waiting for seats to become available and that we would be seated soon. At 8:30 p.m., we were still waiting. When we approached the host stand again, the response was noticeably less courteous. We were told that they could not ask people to leave their tables and that we would be seated when they could accommodate us. At some point during this exchange, we were also told that once we were eventually seated, they would provide us with complimentary appetizers. I want to be very clear: this was never about receiving free food or having something taken off our bill. We had already spent close to $300 on drinks and appetizers while waiting. I neither wanted nor needed complimentary appetizers. What I wanted was for our reservation to be honored within a reasonable amount of time--or, at the very least, for someone to communicate honestly with us, acknowledge the problem, and treat our family with respect. Offering free appetizers did nothing to address the actual issue. By approximately 8:35 p.m.--20 minutes after our reservation time and nearly 50 minutes after we initially checked in--it was apparent that there was no urgency to seat us and, more importantly, no meaningful communication about when we could expect to be seated. At that point, General Manager Landry became involved. Unfortunately, rather than attempting to de-escalate the situation or offer any reasonable solution, his attitude made an already frustrating situation substantially worse. When I reminded him that we had an 8:15 reservation and asked when we could realistically expect to be seated, he again told us that we would be seated when they could seat us. I explained that our party included a pregnant mother-to-be who had not eaten and was beginning to feel unwell, as well as a young child. There was no apparent concern or effort to accommodate the situation. When I pressed him for a more specific timeframe, Landry responded that "it's just a reservation." That statement was astonishing to me. A reservation is a commitment made between a restaurant and its customer. I certainly understand that restaurants run behind and that unexpected circumstances occur. What I do not understand is a General Manager dismissing a customer's reservation as though it carries no significance whatsoever. I asked Landry what Sixty Vines' policy would be if I had arrived 30 minutes late for my reservation. Instead of addressing the obvious point behind the question, he accused me of being "aggressive" and informed me that, if he wanted to, he could simply ask our party to leave. That response was completely inappropriate. Rather than acknowledging that his restaurant had failed to honor our reservation, apologizing for the delay, or attempting to find a solution, the General Manager chose to threaten to remove a family that had been patiently waiting and had already spent nearly $300 at the restaurant. A few minutes later, Landry walked past our group and visibly shook his head at us. It was dismissive, disrespectful, and entirely unbecoming of someone entrusted with managing a restaurant and representing the Sixty Vines brand. Ironically, the person who demonstrated the most professionalism and empathy that evening was the young server who had been taking care of us near the bar. She observed what was happening, approached us on her own, apologized for the situation, and asked whether there was anything she could do to help. Her response stood in stark contrast to that of the General Manager. By this point, we had closed our tab. The pregnant member of our party had become so unwell while we waited that she actually vomited. We informed Landry of what had happened, and again there appeared to be little concern. His primary focus remained his assertion that we had "yelled" at him. To be clear, customers who have waited well beyond their reservation time, received virtually no meaningful communication, and then been told by the General Manager that "it's just a reservation" are understandably going to become frustrated. A capable General Manager should know how to manage that frustration professionally rather than escalating the situation and threatening to remove the customers. Ultimately, we left without ever having the birthday dinner.

When we checked their reviews online, it didn't look too promising, but the menu sounded amazing so we decided to come back the next day and try the food. I am so glad that we did! Every single thing we ordered was absolutely amazing. We were able to order the bucket of fried chicken for $20 off of the happy hour menu which was four boneless, skinless breaded fried chicken thighs and they came out hot and perfect! They were so good. We also ordered one Baja fish taco and we regretted not ordering more because they were really good. We also ordered the lobster Bucatini, which was an amazing flavor, but honestly a bit disappointing on the portion size, it could have come with a bit more pasta and sauce, and a piece of bread would've been nice for the sauce. We ended our meal with the crème brûlée cheesecake which I was kind of scared to order because I really love crème brûlée but I'm not a super fan of cheesecake but Earl's did it 10 out of 10 perfect! Hands-down, one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. For the drinks, I ordered an old-fashioned and my husband ordered a Moscow mule. Both of our drinks were great, we were very impressed and will definitely be back next time. We are in Plano. Dining tip: in order to take advantage of the happy hour, whether it be for lunch or dinner, you do have to sit in the bar, lounge, and I believe the outdoor patio counts as well. Your basic dining area does not give you access to the happy hour pricing.
