Even though my regular dentist works with crowns, he felt that Dr. Geller's specialty and care would better suit for my needs, and he was correct. Geller Dentistry is clean, bright, warm and airy. His staff are kind and professional. Dr. Geller is easy to talk to: he answered all my question and concerns and explained everything to me at every step of the way. After his work on my crown, I ended up consulting with Dr. Geller regarding issues I had with a few more teeth. I was impressed in that he never pushed a treatment onto me, but rather, gave me all my options. I never felt rushed. Dr. Geller is now my go-to bridge/crown specialist. I have been trying to schedule a new appointment here for some time now. My first attempt was made through the intake form on the website. After submitting it, I never heard back from anyone. I then decided to call the office. I spoke with a woman who gathered some information from me and said she'd give me a call back in 5-minutes. I never heard back from her or the office again. The office staff are incredible, helpful, and kind, and they genuinely seem to like working there. Dr. Geller is such a great guy, my husband and I love going to see him. I ended up getting Invisalign and my husband got a tooth bonded, and the entire process was smooth and easy from start to finish (and they accepted a monthly payment plan for Invisalign that worked with my budget). This review is long overdue! But as I'm facing some additional dental work, I'm reminded of how amazing Dr. Ben Geller is!! I came to Dr. Geller in the hopes of fixing a major "snaggle tooth" that I've hated since I was a kid. It was a canine that jutted out, had a weird shape, and just looked bad. I had done a little research into veneers, and man were they expensive. But I really had my heart set on fixing this snaggle. So, I looked for a highly rated cosmetic dentist and found this darling dentist's office in Larchmont (in such a cute little house, these dentists had to have good taste;) and found Dr. Geller. The office is clean and bright and comfy, which immediately put me at ease (my last dentist's office literally had an empty fish tank with mold just everywhere, no kidding). And the front desk staff is SO sweet and welcoming. After thinking I hit the jackpot, I remember thinking, oh crap, this place must be crazy expensive. Moving along. (I'll fast forward through some of the general dentist stuff) Dr. Geller examined my snaggle, and I braced for the estimate for the veneer and associated work (I'm thinking $1300+), or for him to tell me that the only option was something like braces. BUT he said, you know, I can fix this with some bonding, it'll look just as good as a veneer, cost a few hundred dollars. WHAT?! I don't know what was more shocking, that he could do this simple fix for such a low price, or that I had actually found an honest dentist!! (I don't have dental insurance, and have been to office that tried to upsell me on everything they could. Gross). Fast forward to YES, PLEASE! The tooth was prepped for bonding (super quick and painless process, didn't even need novicaine, score). And then repaired. You guys, I'm not exaggerating. It was PERFECT. Nothing felt out of place or rough or looked fake. It was as if my snaggle tooth was NEVER a snaggle tooth. I'll include a photo. It all took, I think, less than a half hour. Dr. Geller is a PERFECTIONIST, which is something a dentist absolutely should be. He got that tooth perfect. It's a freaking miracle. So, of course, I went back for some work on a filling in back. The new filling was seamless. In the past, I have had to go back to dentists because I could feel the filling, or it was rough, poking etc. But NOPE, because Dr. Geller is a perfectionist, he got it right the FIRST time (imagine that). I have since gone for cleanings (the hygienists are lovely), and have never once felt pressured to get this or that procedure done. It's just so wonderful to find a FANTASTIC dentist who is HONEST and a PERFECTIONIST. On top of that, the thought outside the box on a way to fix my snaggle that was painless, literally like a thousand dollars cheaper than what I thought, and was just a perfect result. Thank GOD for this dental practice! I was losing my mind...no one could tell me what was wrong and why I had pain radiating throughout the whole right side of my mouth. Leslie (she's awesome) fit me in literally last minute. I met with Dr Benjamin (he's also awesome) and he took a full mouth of X-rays. He went over everything with me and we came up with a plan. The plan worked! I was lucky enough to follow up with Dr. Gloria (yup - she's awesome) and she was so kind. Careful research on yelp led my to this little haven and I must say, there is a reason the reviews are so wonderful. I went in for the first time for a tooth filing and not only did they do an impeccable job (my teeth look phenomenal and most importantly, natural) but they did so with a professionalism that is truly unparalleled. They even took the time to have a personal meeting with me in their private office just to get to know me before I went in the chair! If you are looking for a new dentist, LOOK NO FURTHER. Dr. Geller is the most patient kind and compassionate dentist you would ever find. I usually have to be peeled off the ceiling for a simple tooth cleaning. He very patiently explains that I should not be feeling anything. If I still feel something ANYTHING even if it's not pain it's on him. He gives shot after shot until I can no longer feel any sensation and relax and not be afraid of pain. I always thought that everybody was enduring some pain and I was just a weak scaredy-cat. You ever discover something great and you want to tell all of your friends, but you are worried that it may make it more difficult for you to attain in the future? Well I must admit I was reluctant to write this review because if everyone knew about this place it may create extended wait times for me in the future. Selfish, I know.. Like most, I have always HATED the dentist! lengthy wait times, loud intimidating equipment, often rude staff and a dishonest Hygienist's trying to convince you that you need all of your teeth pulled and dentures (with braces) and your like 12 years old... I can assure you, that was not the case here. From my initial appointment to my last, every staff member was very pleasant and professional. They didn't try to sell me any unnecessary products or services, the office was very clean, quaint and inviting, my wait time was was almost non existent and Dr. Gloria Geller was awesome! She was punctual, thoughtful and very personable. She works alongside her husband Ben Geller (They are the cutest couple) which successfully exudes a caring family environment. I felt like I was going to a friends house to hang out, who just happens to be a Dentist, so your like: "Girl, can you take a look at this chip in my tooth before I go?":-). Needless to say, despite my desire to be selfish, I have already recommended my boyfriend and several co-workers. I plan to visit the Geller's every six months for as long as I am residing in LA. Well, I had been going to the same dentist for the past 20 something years and was fairly happy but I decided to try Geller dentistry as they are local and I took my daughter there. What a great decision I made! Starting with the office itself, incredibly clean, beautifully decorated with welcoming style...Moving on to the office staff - Amazing, probably the most friendly and professional staff you could wish to meet, Jackie is so wonderfully warm and helpful from the start, making that first appointment to checking out an easy and pleasant experience. The other staff are equally as helpful and friendly and really make you not only feel welcome but also valued which is very important to me. Moving on to the doctors themselves... I have seen both of these doctors and couldn't have felt more taken care of. Dr. Ben found what had been bothering me even though my other dentist couldn't find it, and executed the treatment plan with finesse. Dr. Gloria took great care with the treatment, it turned out that I did need a crown as there was decay that the other dentist couldn't find. It was thorough and painless, yes, painless! I didn't feel a thing from the injections to the drilling - she made me feel very comfortable and I knew I was in expert hands from the start to finish. In closing, I couldn't recommend these doctors more, everything about them is great, I cannot find one thing that concerned me or I didn't like. I am in awe. Yesterday, without warning I was in excruciating pain from my back molar, I did not see this coming. My friend Nigel suggested I see Dr Ben Geller. The staff were so nice, and were able to fit me in that same afternoon! I seriously do not know what I would have done otherwise. It turned out I had an old crown go 'wrong'~he immediately extracted it with zero pain. Today, I feel like a new person, and am in almost no pain. I only had to take one Advil today. This is such a great dental office with great Dr.'s, and a wonderful staff! I got a cleaning today with Dr. Gloria Geller, and what an amazing job she did! There was no pain at all, even with a full set of x-rays. Her dental assistant was just a delight too. So nice and professional, and I've been to plenty of dentist offices. She is so caring, and Jackie the receptionist is very knowledgeable as well. I highly recommend this office, both Dr's are great! In March, a crown fell out that I had made a long time ago in AZ, and Dr. Geller re-cemented it for a reasonable fee, and it is still going strong. I would like to have it redone in the future, but with school starting soon, I just don't have the energy to begin that, having recently had an implant with a prior Dr, but I feel so blessed to have found this office. Dr. Geller makes you WANT to go the dentist! wife lost a veneer at about 10pm one recent evening - not an ER emergency, but bad enough. I called Dr. Geller (not even our dentist yet BTW) and ten minutes later, he called back, she had appointment BEFORE his normal office hours to which he made a special early trip to the office. After 10+ years of bad dentists always upselling, Dr. Geller is a breath of fresh air! I would like to say that The DR's Geller have a beautiful and quaint office in the Larchmont Area. They operate out of a wonderful ground floor house with plenty of parking. From the 1st time I called, I've been treated with the utmost care and concern for my well being. I was referred to Dr Ben Geller by my Periodontist. After having gum surgery by my Periodontist, I needed to have some cosmetic work redone that was front and center in my mouth. In other words, it had to look perfect. I work with the public and am very conscientious about how my smile looks. Dr Geller and his staff are amazing. I had high expectations going in and they met every single one and even more. Their care & concern about every detail was spot on. I was interested in the process of what was being done and he explained every detail. I also got to be part of the decision making about the details that another dentist may not have cared to explain. Ms Jackie, his office manager provided me with a detailed description of what my fees would be from the very start as well as what my insurance would pay. Together we created a payment plan that would work within my budget and be paid in full by the end of my treatment plan. There was no deviation on either of our parts. No hidden cost or expenses. The outcome was really beyond what I expected. This was both cosmetic as well as functionality. My speech had previously been effected as the result of the gum surgery. Yesterday, Dr Geller completed my work. I've been smiling ever since. I bet I will for the rest of my life. He's given me such joy in providing me with an amazing smile. I had a tooth drilled and my filling replaced yesterday by Ben and can I just say... I will never let another dentist in my mouth as long as he is alive! Except for maybe his wife Gloria. They are SO delightful. Their office is so clean and pristine, homey and heavenly. It's just gorgeous and so worth the drive to charming Larchmont Village, even all the way from Santa Monica. That was my fourth visit to him because I was way behind on dental work, so he has also replaced one of my veneers with a crown - which came out flawless. He really has a way with administering the shots so getting numbed is not that painful and he has so many methods for making the whole process more comfortable. Mostly, I just adore his demeanor. There's a lot to be said for a calming and whimsical chair-side manner when someone is working in one of your most vulnerable orifices.
