[[HIGHLIGHT]]Time efficient, great customer service, the window tint looks excellent, and the owner has a great smile.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, after picking up my car, I experienced a few mechanical issues--two of my automatic window switches stopped working, and my front seat warmers would not turn on. Fortunately, a few days later the seat warmers began working again, but the automatic windows are still not functioning. I'm not sure if these issues are related. I was skeptical about getting tints after being warned about the SAM module by the dealer on my 2022 C300. After consulting a few cheaper options around Sacramento/Elk Grove and not getting the best responses, I reached out to Genesis and spoke to Sid over the phone and Josh in person and they were both kind enough to answer all of my questions and guarantee to cover any issues if necessary. I ended up going with Pinnacle 25% front and 15% rear. It made a big difference and they did a great timely job. I see why they won so many awards, I'd recommend these guys as the #1 tint shop for customer service and quality!

2025 Tesla Model 3 Performance with PPF and tint

Excellent work done here. They also have some of the best customer service in the industry. They had great communication on a 3 day project (tinting and PPF), with daily updates over the phone. Accommodating with working me into their schedule. Price is reasonable, but you could certainly get a cheaper price by shopping around. You're paying for the quality of the work if you choose to get work done at Genesis. I did a lot of research into Sacramento area car detailers/tint shops/PPF installers, and I am so glad I went with these guys for my new Tesla. All windows are FormulaOne Stratos 15%. Windshield is FormulaOne Stratos 70%. I went with their PPF Gold package.

I took my Porsche 911 into the shop to have the windows tinted. I made an appointment for 10:00 am. The quality of work and the window film was excellent! I am giving them 4 stars because they obviously over booked or squeezed in extra cars. My car was not finish my until 5:30 that day. I returned to the shop around 4:30 to pick up my car and it was not finished. As I waited, I saw two cars from a local dealership being picked up that had the windows tinted. Interesting they were finished before my car, as they were NOT there when I dropped off mine off for the scheduled appointment. read more

Sid and Josh provided me with excellent communication and A+++ customer service. I've dealt with many shops and film installers in the Bay Area but Genesis are among the best! Josh is super detailed oriented and did an amazing job installing Clearplex (windshield film protection) on my Model 3 and M3. Most shops don't offer or even attempt to install this type of film on your windshield but Genesis is one of the few establishments that offer this service. These guys are awesome and I wouldn't hesitate taking my cars here again. read more

Excellent service and lots of Llumar options (street legal tinting that blocks 99.9% of cancer-causing UVA and UVB rays). $970 for the Stratos tint for the entire car (sedan), and the tint looks great after the five day curing time. Better yet, there is a lot less ambient heat in the car (lives up to the 60% heat reduction) and I noticed less glare also. This was worth the investment for the hot Sacramento summers! The folks here were nice and I got the car within a few hours. Free WiFi, keurig coffee and water available in the waiting area. If you wait for your car they prioritize your vehicle so you can get home. Pretty great service! read more

Humberto was amazing. I was skeptical at first because I was asked to pay on line before the service date. He was very helpful and responsive through the whole process, confirmed payment and scheduled date with reminders. The day I got my tint he was professional and fast. Services provided through Genesis: 1. Application of PPF 2. Ceramic window tint I have self-diagnosed OCD. Making a decision on spending the amount of money I was anticipating on spending for the above services had my anxiety levels at a 10/10. I did my typical research and reached out to 3 different companies that provide the services in Sacramento. Though the other two business were very professional and quite helpful, I ultimately chose Genesis because they were local to Elk Grove, their business ties to the Elk Grove Automall, and their facility was kept up well. Sid, the owner, was the best to deal with. We mostly communicated via Yelp chat, which I find to be more useful than being on multiple phone calls throughout the day. Sid was extremely patient with me and all my questions. He was also very accommodating considering that I had the services done around Thanksgiving. He was/is very knowledgeable about the products they sell and is very confident in his team. Leslie was the first person at Genesis that I met in person. I was supposed to meet someone else that day but it totally worked out. Lesley introduced me to the physical products. She showed me how the PPF is applied and what actually gets covered with each tier package. She was very professional, and also very knowledgeable of the products they sell. After speaking with Sid and meeting Lesley, I felt confident in my choice. I received my car and was extremely happy with how everything turned out. They were even able to cover areas that I was concerned about but didn't have templates for. Josh did the walk through with me and showed the exterior and interior areas that were covered. I had more questions about post-care, which Josh answered and don't make me feel like I was a bother. I would highly recommend Genesis window tinting for your PPF and window tint needs. read more

My car is my baby! I've always wanted a new car, and I finally got one. I don't trust my car to anyone, so I called my dealership and they said they send all their cars to Genesis. I brought in my 2020 Subaru Impreza to get a 70% tint on the front windows and a 15% tint on the back windows. It was a no pressure sale and before I made my choice, they were able to show me how it would look before I went ahead with my choices. The results afterward were AMAZING! I am thrilled with how the job came out! The job was much less than what I expected. They made sure that the job was PERFECT before I left. Took my F250 there, they did a good job on the window tint but they didn't wipe down the doors inside or out, there was water streaks and marks of water all over my doors, my door panels were all wet inside the truck. I even mentioned it to the young lady that worked the counter and she said that's just how it is. I had to go home and clean my car doors both inside and out. Not sure if I would go back.... read more

Looking for an affordable place to tint a car? Come here! After getting some quotes on Yelp, this place was fast to respond and very affordable since they offer a discount on checking in on Yelp and more! Also, it's reputation from friends! So it was a no brainer to come here. Sid (the owner) was fast to respond to any inquires I had (this is a plus) Came in on a Thursday and the lady showed me the options they offer. I already knew what I wanted so she told me that it would take about 4 hours to get my back of my car tinted. I decided to wait in the waiting room cuz there was nothing really around the location (the place was located near the waterman plaza, 3 Min drive away, 10-15 min walk). Watched tv and read the bulletins but got bored so decided to take a walk to the plaza. Then got a call from the lady who helped me telling me that my car was done early! I was super excited cuz I didn't have to wait the full 4 hours! She showed me my car and it was beautiful! Car was looking fresh with the limo tints! She also explained to me that bubbles are normal and that it should go away on1-2 weeks which they did! Bottom line, if you need to get your car tinted, come here! Quality work, great customer service, lifetime warranty on the tints and discounts. Will definitely come again. read more

Very good quality. Came in a few minutes before my reservation. There wasn't any one else in the waiting room so I figured it wouldn't be a big deal. It wasn't. But she wasn't able to find my appt. She finally found it not a real big deal. Tech got the car and started the process of installing the tint. After 40 or so minutes it was done. Quality and guarantee is top notch. I dropped off my car and then a couple hours they said it was done already, which was nice because it did not take too long. I love the quality of their work and how my windows came out. The work, product, and staff are all excelent. I have been coming here for the past 20 years or so ( anout 8 vehicles). The reason for the 3 star rating os because of a pricing issue. My husband had talked to sid a couple of weeks ago and was told since i was a repeat customer he would give me half off on the visor and 10% off the work. This is what we were givin a couple of years ago as well for another vehicle. When it came time to do the new vehicle Sid had called and said he would never offer that and that he never offered that to us. Never had a issue with Sid or this company before. Still got the half off the visor so there is that. read more

I got my windows tinted here for my car since everyone told me to come here and they did such a fantastic job. I dropped off my car in the morning and it took them only 3 hours to complete. I got their middle option, which is more expensive than regular tints but I needed the tints more for heat since I'm moving to Arizona. Don't forget to check into yelp for a discount! read more

I had to wait a week for an appointment but it was worth the wait. I did a 15% on the back with 80 (legal) on the fronts. Patrisha ( this is how it's spelled on the receipt) was very helpful when it came to selecting tints and marking the windshield for the band. Everyone I spoke to was courteous and professional and my car was returned cleaner than when I dropped it off. I was given a 4-5 hour estimate to complete the work and they came in just a bit under the earliest mark. That's always a happy thing. I went with a nano ceramic and I'm quite amazed at the difference you can feel in the temperature inside the car. My air conditioning was working fine before but with the tint it feels like it's working even better. To sum things up, they sell a quality product and their workmanship is top notch. I'll probably be going back to have the windshield done. read more

I called in the morning to see if they could tint my car window. The receptionist was polite and was able to fit me in. The place is clean, coffee is good and also a nice waiting area with a TV. It did take about 3 hours and since there was free wifi, I was able to get some work done. This is my second car that I brought to them and have been happy prior. The tint looks great and if you do check in there, $20.00 discount goes a long way...thank you Yelp :) Great customer service as well. read more

All of our staff are factory trained and authorized to install Llumar Formula One film. We use CAD designed computer-cut patterns and provide in-house design to the software manufacturers. Prior to choosing Deluxe Window Tint we did our research as well as contacted many other companies, Albert(the Owner) really impressed us with his pricing, diligence and response times so we decided to go with Deluxe Window Tint. I dropped the motorhome off in the morning and it was done and ready to pick up in the afternoon. Upon my arrival I noticed what appeared to be some damage to an awning and pointing it out to the employees. Ultimately Albert made a return trip to the shop and we discussed my concerns. His very first statement put my mind at ease "I am not here to deny anything, only to understand the situation and take care of our customer". WHEW! (This was not the response I was expecting after recently dealing with another company who wrongly wired our Jeep up for flat towing behind the motorhome. The next morning that shop foreman was very arrogant when I pointed it out and asked to have it corrected. The installing mechanic looked at my paperwork and immediately said he would have it done in 20 minutes. That shop foreman made it a point to not acknowledge me for the next 20 minutes as I waited in the showroom). As Albert and I looked at my concerns and discussed what could have, as well as what could not have, happened there was nothing but professionalism and discovery evident. After a while it became clear that I was wrong and they had in fact not damaged the awning. It was an embarrassing moment for me as I apologized profusely to both the employee as well as to Albert. They understood how I could have misinterpreted what I had seen and graciously accepted my apology. As we all know things can happen(or in my case, not happen), it's how they are dealt with that truly define a company's culture and an Owner's core belief. In the end I left the shop with plans to bring my Jeep back for window tinting as well, that's how impressed I was. Don't hesitate to trust this shop to do what's right! Thank You, Albert(and crew) for being a standup guy as well as for doing a fantastic job on our motorhome! The Jeep is next!

Recommended to go Genesis by a friend. First time ever getting my windows tinted, but hey my not an Elk Grove native. The place was clean and the staff were all very friendly and professional. They have a good sized waiting room with tv an wifi. I drive a 2008 C350 Sport, so that is 5 rear windows (yes they included the small door glass) and my two front doors. I went with the ceramic film that works with my navi and bluetooth and the UV legal film for my front doors. The price that they quoted on the phone was the same that they had posted on their menu of services. The job took 3 hours (they said 3 to 4) and that was that. Wow. Looked like a brand new car. Like the tinted cars on the commercials that are never in the MB showrooms. Overall very positive experience. No bubbles, tint with a lifetime warranty and a good nap on the couch...hehe. As far as I am concerned it is the only place to go to have window tinting installed. oh they also have pictures of other cars that they will show you if you ask. However; they declined taking a picture of mine...; (...lol I referred a friend and asked someone else to take a picture of my Benz for the website...This time they took one...hehe. read more

Fiance and I decided to try this place out and called in to get an estimate. Girl on the phone was pretty nice and asked what kind of car we were going to get the tints done for. I replied and asked why it mattered. I've done window tints before and I just wanted a ballpark figure on the pricing so I can decide to move further or not. She said that they would charge more for more expensive cars. Really? How is that fair? All cars have the same amount of windows and you use the same film and spend roughly the same amount of work. So you're gonna charge me more because my car is more expensive? That's not right at all. With that being said, we still took the car in for the tint. The overall work is decent, but it costs way more than I expected. Going to try a different place the next time we do any tinting. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I'll start by saying I drove 2 hours from San Francisco to do business with Genesis. Prior to arriving to their Elk Grove location, the owner and I chatted for a few weeks by text to identify a specific film for my high-end sports car for which I had been searching. After confirming that the security film I was looking for was no longer being produced (while on a visit to the Eastman factory), the owner was able to recommend a solid ceramic alternative with complete pricing information via email. The experience was professional and informative. The waiting room (if you choose to wait) was comfortable though there were plenty of places nearby in Elk Grove you can Uber/Lyft to spend the wait. The quality of service is just as good as the quality of their product. They offer 3 different types of film and didn't try to up sell me on any of them. Basically they explained which types of vehicle each film is good on. We ended up choosing just the basic Classic Series Carbon Film because we drive an older model car. But, we did do ceramic film on the front driver and passenger windows to reduce more heat. All in all, it was a great experience and once we decided to purchase another vehicle, we'll be back for sure. Plus their location is easy to get to and their waiting lobby is super clean. We weren't afraid to sit down and relax for a minute before heading off to run errands while the work was being completed. read more

Service and customer service as excellent. Upon arrival to the location I was immediately impressed by the professionalism presented. The facility as well was clean and well maintained allowing customers to view the cars being serviced. The price for the quality tints that you receive are reasonable considering tints are being computer cut. Once the service was complete the representative did a final walk through with us to ensure all details were to our satisfaction before driving off. In addition he explained reasons for certain moisture pockets and guaranteed it will disappear. 10/10 will recommend. Already have another vehicle scheduled to tint! read more

We received multiple estimates and chose Genesis basically for the window product they use (Eastman / Vista by LLumar) along with sincere superb sales service by Joshua. If you want the Best Window Tint Job go here! Took my baby here 2007 Corvette and im picky, had the tint previously done at a Tint Shop by my house in Arden just bad quality work. This is supposed to be a very hard window to tint, Anyway i wish i went to Genesis first they took care of me the min i walked in, good too see customer service still exists.
