Real quality company using basically the best tints available for cars today. The first time I was here was about 5-6 years ago and the tint on that car is still near perfection. This time around, I asked for a quote (thru Yelp) and the owner got back to me within an hour and with prices for multiple options. They have discounts for county and state government employees which was even sweeter. They aren't the cheapest around, but the prices are competitive. For me, I'd rather pay a little bit more to get better service and better work. Again, nice thing is, they gave me a no pressure quote and I compared it with other companies around the area. The only downside was that I couldn't get an appointment within the first week I called them. But that kind of thing has to speak for their popularity. If customers keep coming to the business, then it's only natural that booking appointments will get to be more difficult. They ended up getting me a time about 2 weeks out, I dropped the car off a couple hours early on the day of my appointment, and they finished the 5-window tint job by the time they promised. I took my car here maybe 15 years ago when they were a new company. I'm glad to see they are still around (after my recent experience it is clear why). First of all, let's talk about professionalism. These guys handled my initial call and questions perfectly, and followed up with a scheduled appointment. Today I took my car in at the appointed time, and everything went as planned. They didn't try to aggressively up sell any services and had everything ready to go. The quality of the service is impeccable as well. To the owner, I would like to say that you have done a great job and have a great team (but you knew that :-)). Transferable lifetime warranty on the window tint? Yep, that's included too. You can get your tint done cheaper off of Craigslist, but you will be disappointed when the first bubbles appear next summer and you are out of luck on repairs! I took in my 2008 Audi A4 and was really impressed with not only the service but the quality of the work. This was my first car to have tinted and I was worried after reading the horror stories people have written about other places. VJ took a lot of time to go through the different styles and even took me into the parking lot to find cars that had similar tints to what I was looking for. He didn't try and upsell me for any extra products or higher films. The cost is bit more than other places but worth it. The place is super clean, professional and located in a good area. When I called and spoke to Raymond I was really impressed with his level of professionalism and expertise. He also picked up the phone quickly and was very easy to hear and understand. Created my appointment and received a follow up phone call 1 day prior to my appt.. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE Genesis Tinted the front windows on my 2007 Honda Fit S. They explained the laws of California to me before I choose the % of film that I went with which I already knew but never hurts to hear again. I went with ceramic film which cuts out more heat and gives a higher % of UV Protection. My car looks awesome and the installer did an awesome job. At the end Raymond walk out to my car with me and explained everything you need to know. This will be my 4th car I've had windows tinted on and so I had a very good idea of what I wanted and also knew that I wanted good quality window film and I wanted someone that would take there time and do it right. I was a bit hesitant with the reviews before coming here. If you look a little into it you'll notice most of the reviews posted only posted here... That made me skeptical because one 5 star review and nothing else usually means the business is asking you to write a review for them, which they did ask me to write a review as well. But the reviews stand true to the business. I write this review because I chose to, not because I was asked to. I want to clarify that for people who are looking for tinting and good service. I made a phone call to get my main rear window done. The phone was answered by a friendly woman who listened to my request, offered the different services and prices and was able to set up an appointment for the next day. This place is down on waterman. Go passed the four way stop sign and then kind of slow it down, it's basically at the end of all the small buildings on the right. The building itself is nice. The seating situation I did not like. I won't ding points or anything but I will say the seating situation is incredibly awkward to me. I sat across a couple spooning on a couch. I think there needs to be more seating, small tables, extra chairs. The couches basically fit one person comfortably each or 2 if you want to be really uncomfortable next to a stranger. That was my only gripe. It was also pretty cold sitting in there for an hour. If you're not familiar with tinting there's different percentages. There's also laws in terms of what percentage is legal for the front, which they'll tell you about. Some people decide to go down to 50 for the front others stay safe and do legal limit. I was happy with the service. It took a little over an hour. I also got the yelp deal which took 20 dollars off my order. There's a life time warranty, which is a super plus for the business. Friendly front staff. Good job at explaining towards people familiar and customers who were unfamiliar. Wait wasn't too bad. If I decide to upgrade my other tints I'll probably bring my car back here. read more

Residential Window Tint. We had an in-home consultation/estimate done for our windows. Raymond came out and he was early and came to the door on time. Nice guy, great experience. He said they use the Gucci of window film. I'm with that. My initial experience with this company was very good so I was disappointed that I had to keep calling to make sure they were on top of things because usually I would expect a call from the vendor/company to let me know things like hey, we've ordered the film and it'll be here on such and such date or here's an install window.. I was told the film would be ordered on a Monday. I didn't hear from them so I called Tuesday and I was told they'll order it right now when I thought it was to be done the day before.. The initial consultation was great. The install was great. Two guys came and they spoke like they were the best and answered any questions we had.. Really nice and cordial. The worst part of the experience was dealing with the office and it wasn't too bad if you're on top of things and it was a shame you had to be the one calling and making sure everything was happening. I didn't hear from them. I had to call. I almost didn't use them because of it. The installers did a great job. It looks great. So overall, I'm happy. read more

After getting my car tinted here, I found they did residential tinting as well. They came out showed me all of the different film options based on what I was looking for. After receiving a quote for the job and setting up the appointment, they came out and spent half a day installing film on all of the windows I wanted. The quality and job was the best! Got a quote through Yelp in 2 mins @ 10 at night to tint the windows in my 2013 Avalon. They were able to work me in a few days later allowing me to drop my vehicle off during my lunch break and pick it up after. While a bit pricey compared to other places, you certainly get what you pay for. I've used a lot of different tint shops (I have 6 vehicles, all with aftermarket tinted windows) and Genesis' quality is certainly the best so far even if it hasn't even been a week yet. Other shops have had issues with getting the tint to stay even around the dot matrix, leaving small bubbles in the tint, or even making bad cuts. None of that is present in Genesis' work. I was told the job would be done before 4:30, but it ended up taking until 5:40. Not a big deal, gave me a chance to catch up on some work on my laptop. I was also told I'd get $20 off if I bring another vehicle in. My girlfriend wants me to bring in her 2016 Escape in the near future and I will be using Genesis. read more

Just had all of my front and back windows tinted, with Llumar Formula one Stratos, and couldn't be happier! Reached out on Yelp for some more information considering all the 5-star reviews and my lack of understanding of tint. The owner Sid was awesome! I asked multiple other company's for information and they replied quickly but with information that didn't answer all of my questions or make me feel comfortable. I felt like I would be walking in to a high stakes sales pitch. Sid, on the other hand, replied with an awesome amount of information, 4+ paragraphs, on what they offer, what it can do, prices for each level and links to the manufacturers site. I didn't have to call and I could take my time digesting everything and come to a conclusion that made me comfortable before I even walked in to the building. Well done sir. Well done. Before reaching out, I did my research; most places charge 500$ for just the back windows with the Pinnacle level of Formula One. I got all, front and back, tinted for 640$ with Stratos. Better heat reduction and better quality. Even though I didn't stick around while the work was being done, their waiting room was comfortable and their staff was welcoming and nice. I had to call back and adjust my appointment multiple times as I was trying to juggle everything in my day and the nice lady at the Elk Grove location, Leslie, didn't make me feel like I was a bother. I was referred to Genesis to cover warranty work on my BMW. The tint on the back wing window had bubbled from work we had done in 2011 by a well known tint company in Sacramento. Those things happen, and as long as the product is guaranteed, no problem. Here's where it rises to exceptional customer service: the receptionist (sorry, I forgot her name) walked out to check the window and came back in to tell me that the tint I have has faded.. she could see into my backseat but shouldn't be able to. The warranty covered fading as well! The upshot is that they replaced the tint on all windows and since they couldn't get it off the rear deck windshield, they replaced the whole windshield with the same quality glass. Wow! I can tell the difference, which, over time I had become accustomed to the faded tint. Zero out of pocket for me. The staff are all friendly, easy to do business with, obviously take pride in their work, and it's a comfortable seating area if you choose to wait. Five stars! read more

Upon bringing my BMW to Genesis to have a wrap on my vehicle removed that had been on my vehicle for 7 years, I was very concerned on the possible paint damage done upon th removal.
