    Garlic Parmesan Wings

Had a deal from Ubereats so decided to give Tony's Pizza and Wings a try. Placed an order for 3 pizzas and wings. We got the Garlic Parmesan Wings, large Cheese pizza, large All Meats Combo and large Chicken Bacon Ranch. Overall all the pizzas were good. They were fresh, delivered hot and had good flavor. The portion size was also good. What I ordered fed a family of 6 with leftovers. The wings stole the show. They were delicious and tasted amazing with the ranch. Everything reheats well the next day also. I probably won't use Ubereats again but I will be getting more from Tony's Pizza and Wings. It would be easy to drive right by but that would be a mistake. I stopped in because of the $6.99 lunch special and am now an instant fan. The special came with either pizza, pasta, or a sub and I will definitely go back to try more. The fettuccine Alfredo was delicious, the sauce wasn't runny or sticky but had the perfect texture. Their pizza offerings looked amazing (cashew chicken!!) and I candy wait to go back and try it.

The pizza was good, but not great. I prefer thinner, crispier crust, which is not usually a thing with a personal pizza, so maybe I'll come back and try a regular sized pizza. The lemon pepper wings were fantastic and service was great.

What's the deal with this location? It's bad. Usually Tony's is awesome, and I've been to both of their other locations. The dough was soft and seemed like it came of the freezer. The size was small, toppings were scarce. I think this location uses a conveyor over just to be fast since they only do takeout, where the other locations have those good ones.

While searching for a pizza place I could order delivery from I came across Tony's. It had only recently come into my radar but from what I have been told it has somewhat of a cult following. Intrigued I decided to give it a shot and ordered both a small pizza and an order of buffalo wings. The small pizza was reasonably priced and a good size for a single person. I wasn't blown away by the pizza as it reminded me a little bit of cafeteria pizza. That might sound harsh but that was truthfully my first thought. It was certainly still edible and we all know that having pizza delivered isn't as good as fresh out of the oven. When they are able to have guests dine in I would certainly try it again. Where they won me over the was their wings. I ordered the buffalo wings and have since ordered again on another occasion. They are listed as mild but you can certainly detect some heat and the flavor is delicious. Paired with blue cheese and they are some of my favorite wings I've had in quite some time which says a lot because I certainly love my wings!

They just opened, no slices yet. But the pizza they do have is amazing. I would definitely go back. You should try this place if you love pizza.

One of the better pizzas I've had in Charlotte. Cheese bread was very greasy but still good. Wings we just ok.

Don't waste your time. Stopped by and got a large from papa Johns on the way home. A large is really a personal size.

For those…read moreunfamiliar it is the sister concept to Aria which is a long-standing Italian restaurant in Uptown Charlotte. They are inspired by the wine bars you would find in Italy, and it shows with their menu of fine pastas and rare wines. While they specialize more in smaller plates and pasta dishes they also have entrees available if you are extra hungry. We decided to start the night with a cheese board which featured some delicious deli meats and cheeses including a speckled dill cheese that I had never tried before but highly enjoyed! For my main dish I tried the braised duck pappardelle and it turned out to be one of my favorite pasta dishes I've had in quite some time. The thing I enjoyed most about this spot though were the vibes. It is a small space but didn't feel overcrowded and it's elegant and upscale without feeling stuffy or unwelcoming. It can serve as a date spot, a night out with friends, or even a happy hour with coworkers if you want to try some delicious wine and sample some smaller plates. I've been told that you also have the option to order off of Aria's menu which is great that they are so accommodating for their guests. Not a lot of places would allow that so it really speaks to their commitment to hospitality. This was one of my favorite dining experiences I've had in years and I will be urging all of my friends to check it out so they don't miss out like I did for years.

There's a real sense of history here. From what I understand, Reid's is one of the oldest grocers in Charlotte, and that legacy shows in the details. The rich green tile, classic signage, and thoughtfully designed layout create an elevated, almost European-style market experience. It feels polished, intentional, and welcoming all at once. What stands out: * The store is beautifully merchandised and carefully curated with specialty and seasonal items you don't always find elsewhere. * The wine bar and café concept make this more than a grocery stop--it's a place to linger. I've enjoyed flights, tastings, and brunch on the patio, and each visit has felt like a small occasion. * Location-wise, it really depends on which store you're visiting. The SouthPark and Myers Park locations have easy, convenient parking, and there's also a newer location in Ballantyne (near Pineville). The Uptown locations, while not necessarily "easy parking," are incredibly walkable--perfect if you live, work, or have meetings nearby. If you're already Uptown, this is a fantastic stop to pick up elevated items for a beautiful dinner--think wine, specialty cheeses, or even something indulgent like caviar to round things out. One thing I appreciate is that Reid's doesn't try to be everything to everyone. It's not an organic-focused market like Whole Foods, and that's okay--it serves a different purpose. The clientele here tends to be people looking for specialty ingredients, elevated prepared foods, and a more curated shopping experience. Many shoppers probably visit both stores depending on their needs, and I find myself doing the same. When Reid's really shines: During the holidays and special seasons. Their selection of unique, festive, and hard-to-find items makes it a go-to for entertaining or finding something a little extra special. Overall, Reid's feels like a true Charlotte institution--elegant, distinctive, and consistently well executed. It's the kind of place that makes grocery shopping feel enjoyable again, and I'm looking forward to continuing to explore more of what they offer as I keep eating my way through Charlotte. Bottom line: A beautifully curated local market with history, charm, and a destination-worthy wine bar--perfect for specialty shopping, brunch, and seasonal finds.
