Dr. Verma is the best! Our cat (3 year old and cranky with strangers) had some furballs close on its chest that we couldn't comb out. Dr. Verma did a fantastic job gently shaving the chest with nary a hiss from our cat, remarkable in my opinion. He did a thorough physical and updated the distemper vaccine, all for a reasonable charge. We love this Vet and his staff! read more

My 10 year old Golden Retriever, Lucy stopped eating and was vomiting. I called the clinic and Sandy was quick to get us an appointment on a Saturday. Dr took labs and examined Lucy. He provided possible diagnosis and told me that he would call me with lab results on Monday as they were closed on Sunday. Instead he called me in Sunday and informed me that we would need to proceed with x-rays on Monday as her labs were almost 7 times higher than they should be. Lucy underwent a 4 hour surgery for pyrometra (a uterus filled with deadly puss). Lucy's situation was not good. If the uterus leaked any of the puss into her abdomen that would cause her to develop an infection. Dr. Verma did an amazing job and removed her uterus intact. It weighed at 9 pounds while the normal uterus size for a dog is the size of a pencil. Lucy had no prior symptoms to alert me before the 2 days of not eating and vomiting. 4 days after surgery Lucy was back to her kangaroo-jumping, living life, giving kisses self. She is 10 years old and I was scared that this was our good-bye. Yet Dr. Verma made it that we still have time! So grateful and blessed that 4 weeks later I have my unconditional loving Golden back to her normal self. read more

Dr Verma is not my regular vet. I have a 10 yr old English Mastiff that I believe had a stroke yesterday and lost her sight and ability to walk. I called Dr Verma because I was desperate for someone willing to come to my house to euthanize my 200 lb girl on Christmas Eve. He came to my home and was so kind. My dog was petrified because she couldn't see and became somewhat aggressive even toward me. He handled the situation with patience and kindness. If I ever have another pet in the future, I will most definitely take them to Dr Verma's clinic for all their medical needs. Thank you Dr. Verma and Sandy for your compassionate care of my furbaby. She was attacked by another dog and required dozens of stitches. We walked in 1/2 hour before closing and kept you both on overtime for 2 hours on a Saturday and yet, the bill was extremely reasonable. The wound was severe and I thought that skin grafting might be needed but you were able to close it. You allowed me to stay in the treatment room to be of comfort to my girl while she was sedated and stitched up. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart- I am indebted to you. read more

As someone who has gone to at least 4 different vet clinics in the past, this one is by far the best. Dr. Verma is very personable as a Vet and caring towards my dogs (chihuahuas). Would not recommend. This place further prevailed me belief that vets are just in it for the money. They may have a cheaper office visit, but that's only because they go straight to surgical solutions to any problems. Not to mention there is one doctor and no assistants. I was excited to bring in my dog to this clinic waited around 40 minutes no fun my dog was already frustrated and i was too. I took stool sample the nurse lady messed up the results. This is the best vet clinic in the area! I was fed up with going to those big vet hospitals and waiting forever for routine check-ups, when I happened to stumble upon Gentle Care Vet Clinic. Their office is small, and they never leave you waiting for very long. The office consists of Dr. Verma & Sandy, his assistant. They are both friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Whenever my dogs have blood work or some sort of test done, many times they will call me back that same evening. What really won me over was that my dog kept getting these horrible ear (yeast) infections, and every vet hospital I went to did the same thing. They prescribed some pills and drops, but nothing helped. All that time and money wasted at those other places. Then I went to Gentle Care, and Dr. Verma removed my dog's hairs that were caked with yeast. Then he prescribed some drops and pills I administered to her. After switching her to a holistic diet, she has never had another yeast infection in her ear! I was so happy Dr. Verma took the time to figure out what was actually wrong with her and solve the problem instead of just giving us some meds for the time being. I also have a pet rabbit, and they have cut his nails on several occasions when other places like PetSmart refused. Dr. Verma & Sandy were patient and gentle when working with my rabbit. Prices are reasonable, and they never make you get anything you don't want or need. That's just one of the reasons I like going to them. We've been going to Gentle Care for around 4 years, and I've never been unhappy with them. They will treat you right every time! read more

After dealing with another vet who was not taking care of my dog properly, I sought out another vet who made house calls. I found this vet and I could not be happier with his services! Saw my dog on a Tuesday, and surgery was scheduled for the following day and everything went so well! I was so happy to have found this vet, the doctor is so nice and knowledgable. My dog is doing great and dr.verma never has a problem answering my questions or coming to the house to see my dog and see how she's doing! Was clean but since so small lacks some of the benefits of a bigger clinic like taking the dog in the back for certain procedures and trained assistants. Very much a small town feel so go here if you like that. Also got the feeling he was trying to talk me into procedures that are more elective which I'm not interested in. I brought my cat into Gentle Care after reading the reviews. Dr. Verma is outstanding! Sandy was also very helpful and caring! I use a couple different vets for various reasons and will continue bringing my cats in for future needs to Gentle Care as her tooth extraction and urinalysis were reasonably priced and perfectly executed!
