I was at the Arizona State University West Valley Campus for a festival earlier this month, and I…read moresaw several food trucks including the Cuties Lemonade & More truck. As I wasn't feeling like dinner but can ALWAYS go for a nice, refreshing lemonade, I thought I'd give it a try. The staff seemed friendly, and they were very quick at preparing the drinks; however, what was advertised on the website didn't exactly seem like what I had received, though it was still tasty. Cuties Lemonade & More has 31 lemonade cocktails and 6 lemonade slushies. I saw that the strawberry lemonade includes Puréed Clancy Strawberries infused with Meyer Lemons sweetened with granulated sugars. It is gluten free, vegetarian, organic, and vegan. While the drink I received looked red with lemons in it and an umbrella on top (and was huge!), I was disappointed not to see any strawberries in it like in the photos of it. I would certainly still consider getting a lemonade from them again, though I was very excited about "pureed strawberries infused with lemons." The story of Cuties Lemonade & More is that of an everyday family that continually gives to the community and doesn't want to stop. The company is a food truck and trailer that serves a variety of REAL fruit-flavored lemonades across Phoenix. Every glass is made-to-order, carefully measured, and fully fresh, according to their website. While I would have liked to have seen the strawberries in the lemonade, I certainly saw fresh lemons with the flavor, pulp, and seeds. In the words of Cuties Lemonade & More, "When Life Gives You Lemons, You Make Lemonade." I look forward to trying it again soon!

I was greeted with a smiling hello. I chose the Black Forrest smoothie which came garnished with fresh fruit and I couldn't resist the Salted Date square. They had a nice selection of other pastries, I have a soft spot for a good date. Both were great tasking, the salted date square wasn't,t yo sweet a date was creamy with a nice chocolate topping. I love a mint smoothie or ice cream, so I opted for that flavor. It definitely tasted on the healthier side, I know they put spirulina in it, and I could taste that flavor, as well as the mint and the cocoa nibs. The cocoa nibs were not blended enough so I had to chew them. I do like that they have a lot of options across the whole menu! They had a lot of healthy treats to choose from. I got an almond bar and it was pretty good. Everything is a bit on the pricier side compared to other shops, but I believe it's all organic which is nice. Kaleidoscope is still my go to, so if I'm on Gilbert road I am most likely going to choose that shop.

Everything about it just feels right -- the vibe, the people, and especially the food. You can tell they actually care. The staff is super welcoming and generous, not in a forced way, just genuinely good energy from the second you walk in. Food-wise, they don't miss. The honeycomb with cream cheese inside is insane -- sweet, rich, and something you don't really see anywhere else. The Dubai chocolate latte is a must-try too, super smooth and indulgent without being over the top. The beef samosas are perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the chocolate pistachio croissant is easily one of the best pastries I've had in a while. Honestly, every time I go I end up trying something new and it's always solid. You can tell they put real thought into everything they serve. Definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to.

I came across Moka & Co while searching for the best Dubai-style coffee in the area, and I'm so glad I gave it a try. Their Dubai iced coffee is really good--while it didn't quite top the one I had in New York, it definitely ranks as my second favorite. The only downside is the price. A 16 oz drink was $10, which feels a bit steep for a medium-sized coffee. Overall, though, it's a great option if you're craving a Dubai-style iced coffee without leaving Arizona.
