I asked here and the Sharon Wheatley responded. She was easy to communicate with. Wrote me with my meter location and gave me insights on what I should do. She also explained that Mondays are very very busy days to call as lots of bad things happen on weekends. Following her advice, I called in for a conservation use report. Someone came by in 2 days. Found my meter (it is far from my house). Could not find any reason for a massive use, but saw the use dropped drastically since the last bill. She gave me advice on what to do. Called SJ Water, based on the advice. Appealed the bill, they realized my allocation maybe to low. They will investigate. I don't know what's going to happen, but I can say the interactions are helpful and positive. If you have issues call on Wed or Thursday. If you use Yelp to then there maybe some good interaction from Sharon or her team.

However, one thing would make a big difference. West Valley recycling bills every three months, and you have two months to submit your bill before it is considered late. San Jose water bills every two months, and your bill is late after 19 days. This makes no sense because they can't take any action until 76 days have passed. All they have to do is increase the payment period from 19 to 30 days. That will decrease late notices because many of us pay when we get our checks on the first of the month. It would also increase the company's image. Of course, they could always hire more intelligent people, but that probably won't happen.

Power would lag, then return to normal, lag again, return to normal, and repeat. I called PG&E and they had a guy named Henry come out within 1-2 hours. Henry spent 5 minutes looking at the line from our pole to our house and spotted a frayed neutral wire, worn by a tree branch over the years. He let me know that it was a serious safety issue and killed the power to our house. A few hours later, Nate's Tree Service showed up and cleared a path for a new power line. Shortly thereafter, PG&E returned with a squad of guys who pulled a new power line from the pole to our house with a larger capacity. It was a minor inconvenience for us that could have been much worse. PG&E came out and fixed a serious issue quickly. We appreciate the team's great work.

Spectrum was out here several times, but could not fish the cable under the street - it was blocked somewhere. They made no effort to find the obstruction Because of corona, I've been working from home and the DSL connection was just way way too slow for this. So I called Amaya's. Two hours later he was here. He quickly found the conduit from the fiber box to my house and told me where he thought the problem was. Even better, he said he would bring a crew and fix the problem that day. A few hours later, the cable was run. The original crew had "stubbed" the connection - they did not connect the conduit from my house to the street conduit. Now I am a happy camper with 115Mb/s!

Called the CUP or Central Utility Plant, this corner will not assist with the distribution and generation of power to these electricity heavy complex. The structures are under construction and based on the signage, in addition to artwork, the facade of the buildings will incorporate PV cells allowing the plant to offset 5200+ tons a year. It is too early to tell if they will offer tours and the like, but it will be an interesting building and the concepts may pan out.
